Lift Me Up (Prod. Foda Good Vibes)

Everyone has their own idea of Love. The Love in Lift Me Up is a Free, uplifting Love. One that doesn't "handcuff" or "lock down." (Have You ever noticed that the metaphors used for monogamist relationships equate partners to the police?) It's about working toward Life goals and enjoying each other along the way. It's about understanding the passion of another and allowing that person to go out and find the treasure they seek while appreciating all time and presence given; a real love.

Many people move in packs. They stick to crowds that think in the same patterns, with the same process. Some people in the pack are there because they see nothing better than the direction the group is moving in. Others may simply be happy to be accepted by numerous others. Still, others are afraid of working alone or just don't know which direction to move in without the pack. Those who are not inhibited by these fears and insecurities are sure to overcome any obstacles that arise as results of those things that the others feel threathened by. For what seems threatening only brings discomfort because it is uncharted territory, unknown existance. People who move in their own fashion tend to have a desire to explore the unknown. This devotion to the hunt for knowledge and experience resides in the leaders, the explorers, the pioneers. The people who are not afraid to be alone while still knowing they never have to be; who use the previously blazed trail to find their own. These warriors who know that just as someone created a path for them to employ, they can conceive a path for others. A path that may or may not have worked before. A path that they feel will work without knowing exactly how. A path that feels better than before.     We learn to think that seeds only grow in certain places, under certain conditions. It has to be a warm, tropical climate for this plant to grow right.  It has to be a dry, desert climate for that plant to grow right.  You need to live in a quiet, suburban area for that child to grow up healthy and sound minded.  It takes a certain crowd to receive that sort of message.  Wrong!  In some cases, there may seem to be ideal circumstances for the optimal growth of a seed, but that doesn’t mean it couldn’t grow in a different situation.    

In the case of people, some of the most seemingly ideal conditions give birth to some of the weakest, most corrupt individuals.  Some people have it made from the womb as far as money and material but don’t know how to deal when trouble arises.  Adversely, there are people who are born in the storm and live life working their way out.  Many of these people grow to change lives because of the strength it took to overcome their situations and their understanding of the people in the tough conditions they come from.    

When dealing with ideas, many of the greatest come from those with the least resources.  Those who don’t have devices to think for them must think for themselves.  As far as planting ideas into the minds of people, you just have to know how.  One must know the thought process of the audience that one wants to connect with and apply methods that will get the message across.  In other words, in order to plant a seed in the stone, you must find a crack to put it in.  Once planted, it will grow.    

Some people think things just don’t work outside of the norm.  Those people may never do anything phenomenal.  When and where someone is born does not determine where they will go,  and what they are used to does not determine what they are able to receive and process.  They say don’t judge a book by its cover for looks can be deceiving.  You must read the story to get the message.  No narrative exists without a conflict; a stony area where times are hard.  Some stories build up to that conflict.  Others begin with adversity.  Regardless of the setting or the circumstances, the story must go on, and the seed must grow.

We Don't Know

From where we come or where we go
