Hurray, I took the plunge and risked logging back into Bombidou. I misjudged the in-game time I’d last played and ended up going a month ahead, but nobody moved out! 8D Relief.
I also checked the dream suite and I’ve had 230 visitors to Bombidou, which is mental. Thanks to everyone who came!

WHEN DID YOUR BLOG REACH ITS PEAK: Last year pretty much, when I was building up Bombidou. I contacted and got contacted by a lot people for dreamies and stuff, and I met a lot of cool, very generous folks. I also posted a lot more art at the time, and screens of Bombidou’s development.
WHAT MADE YOU DECIDE TO GET A TUMBLR: I can’t remember... I think I just found it through an artist I liked on Deviantart, and I just... decided to make a blog. Didn’t understand for ages how the site worked. XD

Hello again all. Major apologies for ignoring this blog. XD I’ve fallen out of playing acnl again and can’t figure out why I can’t get back into it. I dunno is it that I’m still uninspired with my town or what, but I don’t have the drive to keep going with it like I did before.
I’d love to keep playing Bombidou, but the in-game clock is waaaay off, and I can’t remember the last date I played in it, and I’m too scared to pick the wrong date and risk losing a villager. T_T
I signed back in to Mimolett yesterday, and said ‘screw it I’m fixing the clock’. So the date is right now, and even though I moved it several months ahead, no-one moved out. But I surprisingly didn’t care that much.
I’ve been thinking about why Bombidou meant so much to me, and I think it’s because I and so many lovely people put in the effort to get all my dreamies together, and I don’t have a goal like that in any of my newer towns. So maybe that’s why I don’t feel the same connection with them.
If anyone has any suggestions as to how to spice it up for myself again, I’d love them. I want to feel fired up by a new town again.

I know you’ve probably got your answer by now, but I just made my paths by running over them at least a few times each in-game day. That’s all there is to it really! It’s long and kind of boring, but if you watch something on tv while you do it, then it’s fine. c:

Finished areas of Mimolett: town hall, fountain/park, campsite.
Bombidou Dream Address: 7700 - 6193 - 1302
It’s been a while since I did any acnl art, so I thought that since I released my dream address today, it would be appropriate to draw a map of Bombidou.
The paths shown are how they looked before the grass regrew.
How did you make this map? Free hand?!
I used my own map to make sure the basic layout was accurate (the shape of the cliffs, river, ponds and coast), then I drew and coloured everything by hand. c: Using plenty of references of course.
The progress in Mimolett so far. Olaf and Bonbon have come and gone, and I’ve also got Fuschia, Bob, Marshall and Bam.
Kicks and Shampoodle have come in, so has Club lol, and I’ve currently got Super T&T, though I’m hoping to get the next upgrade quickly so I can get all the bushes.
I’m tt’ing a lot in this, one day at a time, because once the holidays are over I won’t really have much time to keep playing. So I want to get as much done as I can.
But yeah. This is Mimolett!
Okay, so I thought I'd start completely afresh and move away from the name 'Blath ' or any variations of it. My new town is called Mimolett, and my starter villagers are Croque, Gwen, Mitzi, Erik and Chrissy! My mayor is still Mayor French though. XD
So. I did something drastic and erased Blathnua to restart again. This always happens when the game comes into winter, because I hate how dreary everything looks and I feel miserable looking at my town when it's so grim. It also wasn't really inspiring me the way Bombidou did, and I feel like I could do something much better, that I'd be proud of the same way I am with Bombidou. So I've begun again. And I'm gonna turn the time back to summer, so I can enjoy the greenery again. Wish me luck! c:

It took me about 6 hours to do.
Please don’t feel ‘envious’ of this town. It took me a lot of time and inspiration from others to construct it, and if I can create a town like Bombidou, then anyone can. It’s not out of anyone’s abilities to create something similar, it just takes time. ^^;

Bombidou Dream Address
Hey guyysssssss, let’s see how many of you remember me. XD
It’s been a long time, and honestly I haven’t been playing acnl that much anymore since I started college again, but today I decided that I’ll finally post Bombidou’s Dream Address!
This does come with a drawback however. I made a mess of the time-travelling thing - I thought I wanted to keep Bombidou in summer so I turned the time back to June, then thought that if I did that it’d just stagnate and I didn’t want that so I tried to catch up. Then I didn’t play and I forgot what date I’d played last... basically, I messed up. ^^;
And that means that all my beautiful paths have been re-grassed again. Which I actually personally don’t mind, since I love the grass, but it just means that you guys won’t see the hard work I’d put into them before. Oh well! It just makes Bombidou all the greener.
Okay, enough rambling. I just thought I’d give ye a heads up. c:

Helllllooo everyone! Damn it’s been a while, and I’m very sorry I didn’t say anything before.
Basically, the reason for my sudden disappearance is because not only did I get a job, but I’ve also gone back to do a year of college doing Illustration! Very exciting. c:
I did get myself Happy Home Designer, and it’s soooo addictive. I absolutely love having so much more freedom in the villagers houses.
I also kinda stopped playing Bombidou and Bláthnua for a while, but I’ve half gone back to them and am just tipping away again.
So I may hover in and out every now and again.
