It's really more of a glorified daily drawing challenge but I wanted to make something every day that's either inspired by or related to Vinny, or just something I think he would like if he saw it. It'll probably be a bit loose or vague at times, but I do want to try to keep it fairly Vinny-themed if I can. There will probably be a lot of writing/yapping attached to most of them. Also, I'll be posting Tyran (MLP AU) stuff as part of this, but really mostly music magic related or Red Fox (au red vox lol) stuff. I hope it'll be more worthwhile than it probably sounds like it is.
Since I'm extremely tired rn, Day 1's is just a couple of stream of consciousness designs I made that are leaning towards things that Vinny enjoys. Plus a random cat-like lady that's there for some reason, too. I used to make tons of little creatures just off the top of my head and I've missed doing it... so I will probably do more of them soon.
The square-headed one is meant to be a frog guy; I wanted to experiment with what you can change about a design before it becomes unrecognizable as the species you're basing it on. I might experiment more with different shape/design quirks in future ones.
Also some of my posts will probably be more emotional/sentimental and that's just how it's gotta be sometimes

I had the random urge to loosely design/sketch an idea for a new red fox "member" (glorified guest/feature probably; idea is that there will be tons of hybreeds that make music that make appearances in red fox songs that are all considered 'members' but arent mainstays) and the idea just came to me so suddenly and instantly: a moose hybreed who plays metallophones like the xylophone and glockenspiel, who confronts vinnypony fresh out of high school with dreams of becoming a red fox member. vinny thinks that moosepony (unnamed currently)'s age means he wouldnt have the skill but ho lee does this guy know how to xylophone.
he's also canonically very large. like at least a foot taller than vinnypony even without the antlers. also his antlers do point to his left thats not just me drawing them bad (but it is also me drawing them bad)

i was feasting my eyes on these beautiful pngs and when I saw this frutiger aero-core butterfly i had the random vision of vinnypony resting/sleeping on it (not realizing, even, how much itd make it look like his wings were the bubberfly wings)
i got a little too experimental with the lighting there at the end it almost made me run out of time

so this one's a bit of an interesting case...
in looking through my older images in my computer and sorting through 'em, I found an image that I made in the first week of binty posts. I remember I really didn't like how it turned out, so I wanted to make several more to compensate for it. That was all the way back on February 16th... I started the vinny posts on February 11th.
I looked through old objects on Mercari and Ebay and the like, searching for things that reminded me of binty, and when I found one I drew it. It sorta ties into how I have this urge to explore flea markets irl and find things that remind me of people I like and buy them for them as gifts, but I don't have the means to do that right now and I don't think Beanie would really want my flea market slop anyway! So drawing digital flea market slop was the next best thing!
But I didn't even save the link to the listing that this frog was in, or a picture of what the frog looked like. And (admittedly minimal) google searching can't find it, either. So ... I can't provide what the original looks like like I had originally planned for...
So, yeah, this is a vinny art I made back from 2/16/2026, rather than today. But I did make it explicitly for these posts, and it's a lot more directly "for vinny" than a lot of the others!! I think it should count!!!!
I was so tired yesterday I forgot to make a post saying it but yay I'm caught up on the navigation links for beanie posts!!!
I had up to fifty-seven done prior to yesterday which means I did almost half of them all last night... Sobs
I've also become determined to continue my Toyhouse OC image uploading journey but that's a lot slower since it involves cross-referencing my galleries before uploading anything. I just need to get a move along on that, because I know I have more images of my ex's oc to upload and Vinny pony is getting close to surpassing him but I want it to be FOR REAL when he surpasses him.
It does bother me how many Zolt images I haven't uploaded because it makes it completely impossible to have any semblance of chronology there, but frankly that's just something I'm going to have to accept - she has several subgalleries anyway so it's not like it would ever be one big chronological list even if I did have an easy way of knowing exactly when each one was made. I guess, then, after everything is uploaded, if I do want to organize it at all, it would just be based purely on what I want to be higher and what I want to be lower. But that's a later problem. Right now, I just need to focus on getting everything uploaded.

I came up with a new AU involving vinnypony which makes me nervous and sick to my stomach like what if the world shoots me down dead for even conceiving of it and making art for it even if i never show it to anyone. but i want to show it to people. its silly and goofy but will have tyran lore and stuff
the jury is out on whether ill show/post any of it or not, right now i just have sketches of the concept of a first part of a comic and ill have to show it to my frens to get judgment on whether its ok or not
anyway so thats why the post isnt a more recent art thingy cause ive been workin all day on that....

the medicine's made the loopy really bad this time and i derealized really quickly, and it felt really unpleasant pretty fast too
i listened to music to try and help, and tried playing brain-easy games on roblox. it was relatively ok but in several instances i almost cried and for the rest of it i just felt numb and weird and like everything around me was fake and didnt matter. when red vox songs came on they did kinda take me aback a bit and more of my attention went onto them, i think they helped ground me, or whatever youd call it with derealization when you start to regain the sense back that you are in a real place and that you aren't dreaming and stuff. it wasnt an instant fix of course, but i think it helped tether me just slightly more to reality and idk i just appreciate that
vinny feels like the kind of person who if you were friends with him, if you were super sick [or in the case relevant to me right now, having bad side effects of a medication] hed be one of the few friends youd still feel safe being around when youre sick and his presence'd help. i suppose i shoulnt be so presumptive in assuming that everyone feels 'unsafe' around most others when theyre sick or under the weather, that might be a very alter-specific experience... it's hard for me to tell on my own whether stuff is or isn't. but thats just my parasocial perception of him. maybe irl being in his presence would actually make my sickness and bad symptoms worse. maybe being in his presence would give me NEW sicknesses just from being anywhere near his aura.
i doubt it though. he makes me happier and i think im a better person thanks to him
