I adore these two's dynamic so much. They go from wary of each other, to coworkers, to having such a strong bond that Ahsoka risks her own life to save him during Order 66. Their bond is so strong, that Rex resists the chip in his head, at least for a moment.
I'm a sucker for the whole friends to lovers trope.
