April 18th,2018

Today was really busy,as i had only one more co worker to help me out at two sections,the SSBD and kiosks.....We were surprised to see so many people at once .And we ran back and forth to help passengers at both the sections.It grew a bit tiring but it was ok! We manged to check all of them prior to the counter closing time.

April 17th 2018

Today was fun!! one of our Cathay check in agents bought a dish prepared by her.It was a  really awesome dish shared among all of us.We then proceeded to the counters for our duty.As it was 9:15pm we saw large number of guests rushing to get checked in first.The funniest part was when guests ask you am I late to check in ? And my response is we just opened and you have 3 hours to do your check-in.

OMGGGG !!11 one of the worst weather days to experience,we were all at the airport from 9 pm and according to daily routine the Cathay flight was supposed to take of at 1:15 am.....but Holy Smokes the winter struck way too bad. All flights were delayed with many of them getting cancelled.Guests grew grumpy and so many people had to go home due to cancellations. Who knew that April would 14th would be a winter wonderland!!!

Guess what ...do you notice the date? hahaha yes I was working on April fools day.It was a fun day today.as it was April fools we tricked passengers into believing there is no flight today....and you should have seen there reaction,some were scared,some laughed it off,some got a lil grumpy but as we said APRIL FOOLS!! all bursted out laughing!! It was on of the fun days we had at the airport.

Heyyyy today was a very Busy day with only 3 of us at the kiosk managing the bag tags for guests.We had 320 passengers to check in within a a short time as our regular counter was under maintenance and we had to switch to other counters to start our duties which ate our time up....But the best part of the job is meeting new people...especially small cute babies..I met a dozen of them today with cute pink cheeks .....they were so adorable.

Date March 23rd 2018

Hiii Im back I know I left a huge gap from my last post.Sorry for that.I worked the morning shift today.dealt with a lot of guests and helped them at the kiosk.the day went by soon we were all engrossed in our duties .approximately around 1pm the coach bus arrived and came down the stairs a set of 13 crew members of Cathay. What a dazzling image to see.They were all so beautiful looking elegant in their bright red uniform .OMGGGG!!! i just lost my track and was engrossed in staring at them thinking I will be one of them!!

Most Awaited Opportunity!!!

My name is Steffie Wilson .It was at that time when everyone were hustling and bustling for a career placement in their field of interest, when Cathay Pacific announced their opening for a GSA with their company.A real-time nerve racking experience as most of us sent in our resumes as soon as possible to grab this opportunity. As a few days passes by I was notified that I was selected for the interview to which my joy knew no bounds. A panel of three people from Cathay Pacific interviewed me, though I was prepared it was still an intimidating experience thinking what would I be questioned on? The interviewer was very calming and made everyone feel comfortable. The process went smoothly and I was shot a mail that I am selected as a GSA for this particular airline. 22nd January was the day we started our journey together at Pearson Airport.
