Medical research organizations and clinics
Quite often doctors get hired when they are in the last year of their internship, via placement help services give by the medical institutes where they have studied. Some medical research organizations and clinics also hire neurologists who have lately completed their internships. Still others might find work as faculty members in medical schools. But I complete my study and internship after that I go into the field.
Optional training in subspecialties
I take optional training now and then in subspecialties—like vascular neurology, interventional, epilepsy, sleep medicine, neuroimmunology, and clinical neurophysiology. After completion of my internship, I had to apply for licensure in the state where I wanted to practice. After getting my formal licenses, I started practicing in an independent way. It was also helpful to volunteer for services in a community center, nursing home, or hospital; I just needed to find some spare time, somehow. But I did it because I knew it would only benefit me.
Education and Training
Educational and training requirements can be quite demanding. I had to complete four years of undergraduate education, where I had required studying physics, biology, inorganic and organic chemistry, math, & English. I still don’t know how to change tires. After my Undergraduate education I followed it up by four years of study in medical school and three to four years of internship, in the area chosen by my neurology student. The internship age consists of a year of training in internal medicine, followed by three years of training in neurological diagnostic procedures. That equals a total of about twelve years of postsecondary education.
Neurosurgeon duties
As a neurologist I treat disorders that affect the brain, spinal cord, and nerves, such as:
• Cerebrovascular illness, such as stroke
• Demyelinating illness of the central nervous system, such as many sclerosis
• Headache disorder
• Infections of the brain and peripheral nervous system
• disorders, such as Alzheimer disease, Parkinson disease, and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis
• Seizure disorders, such as epilepsy
• Spinal cord disorders
• Speech and language disorders
I can’t do surgery. If one of their patients needs surgery, they refer them to a neurosurgeon.
Board-certified neurologists education
As a neurologist, I have to stay current in the field to give patients the best care possible for their brain and central nervous system disorders. I have to complete Board-certified neurologists education requirements to keep up the certification. Because of this busy schedule I lack the ability to date and cannot give proper time to my family and friends. It is quite difficult, but it's all part of the job.
No time for fun
As Neurologists, I usually work indoors, in a pleasant environment and well-lit examination rooms. On the other hand, as most other physicians do, they are not able to follow a 40 hrs work week. My profession is quite stressful, and treating patients correctly might require working for more than 60 hrs in a week and I'm always on call. Neurologists employed in busy medical facilities might have to put in extra hours during the week and work on weekends. Those who work in research services and medical schools, though, take pleasure in regular working hours, I do not but I'm okay with that.
Best Medical Staff
I work with the best Medical Staff that I have ever seen, and I am so lucky to have them in my group. In fact, all of the hospital staff is special from the nurses through to the housekeepers. I will have new dare, new friends and new goals as I join another magnificent new hospital this summer. I have been truly blessed by all the women and men I have had the happiness to work with over the years and the honor and freedom of caring for the sick no matter what their situation in life.
life as a doctor
I believe in a thorough Neurological Exam that is used to predict anatomic localization. I consider a complete history to test hypotheses by predicting the exam. While I do not consider in extensive "shotgun" approaches to clinical problems I also do not ignore the mysteries that make sense for the sake of cost cutting. As my father said to me each day,

* Never give false expect
* for all time ask the Lord for the ability to turn back the hands of time. I learned so many things from my dad, especially when it came to being a doctor. I am looking forward to retaking my boards even though I am now considered an expert in my field. Helping colleagues is another one of my joys, teaching, supporting when they are busy. I love my job!
Associate Editor of Neurology
Besides my clinical practice and research, I'm now head of the Child Neurology residency at my clinic. I serve on some suggested boards, and I am also an Associate Editor of Neurology. That's one of the reasons why I am writing this blog. I need some quality time to get my thoughts on paper, I see so many awful things in my profession that I feel I need to share them with whoever wants to read them. I hope you enjoy reading FreyaFrenum. My practice of medicine respects the principles of caring for patients. Medicine is forever changing, but the Neurological Examination and the real practice of Neurology never will.
Mind’s mechanism
My research has been focused on understanding mind mechanisms involved in the control of movement or where disorders reason instinctive movements. The research involves neurophysiology, rating scales, and longitudinal assessments over the course of development and disease. More lately my work as included clinical trials and studies of factors that actually force children to function with movement disorders.
Movement disorders expert
As a movement disorders expert, I care for children with a diversity of conditions those damage voluntary movements, cause involuntary movements, or both. Such conditions include dystopia, chorea, tics, myoclonus, parkinsonism, and mixture of these such as might occur in conditions like cerebral palsy. In addition to movement disorder, neurodegenerative diseases are also a center of my clinical practice.

Hello my name is Freyan, and I'm a Neurologist, and my main focus is determining the lack of movement when it comes to motor skills relating to the brain starting in babyhood. I always paid close attention to pediatric neurology when I was a medical student I soon became interested in the brain. I remember one test one of my med teachers gave us was to go to the casino and take notice of some of the gamblers. This was for us to try to examine how gamblers function and try to figure out why. My observations turned out to be inclusive, to say the least. Ah, the brain is an amazing organ, isn't it?
