“Nothing, really. Just new school stuff and first day stuff and…I’m just not sure if I like the new school yet.”
“You’re not the first person I’ve heard that from, y’know? There are a few teachers around that have expressed their dislike for the “punk” school.”
“Well today was a long day…”
Freya paused, observing Arlo’s face for a long moment. “What happened?”

“Anyone else would think of that as a nightmare,” He tried to tease in order to lighten mood, especially when ‘clingy’ was never a word he’d associate with Freya. “I guess I’ll have no choice but to visit you all the time… Maybe sneak Bow with me, too.” Still concealing his apprehension, he offered a slight, lopsided grin. “You’ll be done with school before you know it and after that, there’ll only be good things ahead of you.”
As the brunette listened to her boyfriend’s words, she could feel herself begin to smile. The thought of him driving to see her and sneaking the cat in was more exciting than it should’ve been, but it was something that she wouldn’t put past him. “Everything’s gonna be alright. You know that, right? Our relationship is one of the only things I’m certain about, and I don’t plan on forgetting about you while I’m at school.”
“As nice as it is not to have to worry about what to wear to school every day, I’m not sure I’m entirely sold on the concept of a uniform. I mean, they’re cute and all but I’m not sure it’s my color…”
“I am now even more grateful that I graduated before this whole clique divide happened.”
“Believe me, I’d keep you here if I could,” He admitted a bit solemnly. The grin he then offered as he tucked several strands of the girl’s hair behind her ear was rather forced, failing to conceal his apprehension about her move to school. “I bet you’ll love it there and never wanna come back. Besides, I can still spoil you from miles away.”
“The exact opposite.” The words were soft and barely audible, making Freya feel slightly guilty even as she let them sneak past her lips. She hadn’t even experienced what it was like to be away from Brookfield without Easton, but she already knew that she wouldn’t like it very much. “Being away from you is never enjoyable. Call me clingy, but I’ve gotten used to seeing your face every single day. I’m overly privileged like that, I guess.”

♦ New Girl - Since graduating high school and transitioning into the new college life—such as moving in and meeting her roommate—Freya has found that she hasn’t quite found where she fits in. It was easier when she was classified as a Punk, but now that she’s at Northwestern, she only feels more uncomfortable. Your character is someone she’s familiar with and whom she has no issue confiding in. She doesn’t know whether she considers your character a friend or not, but they are someone she is comfortable with. OPEN
♦ Tale Isolde As Time - Growing up, Freya was always living in her sister’s shadows. Isolde was prettier, smarter, and she was capable of making friends easier. With this territory came Freya’s jealousy, and her older sister had a few friends that recognized this but rarely did anything about it. Your character is one of these friends. They’ve known Freya since she was little, and they care for her, but it’s mostly from afar. OPEN
♦ Waterworld - It’s not secret that Freya has an obsession with mermaids. Because of this, she takes frequent trips to Lake Michigan over the summer, where she lounges on the beach for hours at a time and sunbathes. However, when she met your character there one day, she found that it was rather easy to bond with them. Not only does your character let the brunette ramble for hours about oceanic facts and mythical creatures, they also bond over books, music, and sometimes movies. She considers your character to be a close friend, and someone that she would like to keep around. Ft. Bentley
Easton released yet another content sigh, his chest vibrating with a deep chuckle soon after hearing her words. “I’m so lucky you’ve got me so figured out…” Before he even had a chance to trail off, his words became mumbled against her lips as he presented a rather prolonged peck to them, “You’re too good to me. —Hey, they better not care. I can always work the charm just until they like me enough. Besides, someone’s gotta be around now and then to make sure no one’s eyein’ up my sexy girl, and it might as well be me.”
Each and every time Easton presented her with another kiss, Freya allowed herself to draw closer to him. She hardly believed that there had been any tension up until now, and that was the way she liked it. “You spoil me” she whispered against his lips, her fingers giving his hair a rather gentle tug before she shook her own head. “Makes me not wanna go to college at all some days.”

“If you keep that up, I’m gonna fall asleep,” He murmured following a rather heavy and entirely content sigh once the girl’s fingers buried in his hair. Despite his claims, he still displayed enough energy to allow his hands to momentarily wander to her backside. Only teasing, he soon shifted them to rest more appropriately back at her waist with a lazy smirk. “If you’re not letting me go anywhere, does that mean I get to come with you to college?”
“This is my only defense against you,” Freya giggled, her fingers still combing rhythmically. “If you’re having a bad day, or being too cheeky...I just play with your hair and I’m guaranteed a very content boyfriend.” By now, the brunette was grinning, a small giggle leaving the back of her throat as she felt his hands slip down to her backside for a short moment. “Y’know, I could probably arrange that somehow. My roommate won’t care if I bring a sexy boyfriend with me, right?”
I would have paid very good money to see that. But don’t ever beat me with a book.

“Freya, I don’t want to talk about it…”
“Then we don’t have to talk about it. But please...please don’t make me leave.”
“And my being important to you is exactly why I can’t tell you what’s going on. “
“I think you’re making excuses.”
“I know. And I wish you wouldn’t. You have enough to worry about on your own without me being involved. I promise I always pick myself up by the boot straps. “
The girl shrugged, picking at her cuticles momentarily. “I have enough space in my life to worry about all of the people important to me. You’re no different.”
Arlo looked over at her, a hand gingerly on his stomach “Whether you can handle it or not doesn’t mean you should have to. I’m sick. That’s all you need to be bothered with.”
“I worry about you,Mr. Carter. I hope you realize that.”
“No, Freya. Not…this time. In fact, quite an opposite problem that you don’t need to worry yourself with. It’s not…pretty. “
“About a year ago, before Easton and I were together, he went through kind of a rough patch. Sylas had gone to New York to clear his head, and he and I weren’t really on the greatest of terms. Anyway...he took it pretty bad; started drinking a lot, kinda wet back to his old ways.” Freya sighed, licking her lips. “My point is, I can take it. You can tell me, and I can take it.”
“Never thought I’d say this, but can the sun please go away?”
“Are you hungover?”
