I am 17, and an only child but I have 6 cousins who are all other days of the week. I'd be willing to try and mediate any problems between you and someone else if you need it.

Whenever it’s convenient for them, you mean. And you have to stay on appropriate topics, which do not include a vast majority of the topics one is interested in. And, even if they keep you around long enough to start liking them, the slightest mistake is enough to make them toss you aside like a piece of rubbish. Then one is not only returned to having no friends, but one feels worse for knowing that someone took the time to get to know you and made an informed decision when they chose to hate you. No thank you.

The concept of friendship is a social construct based on the theory that human beings require social interaction to survive. Since that theory is completely inaccurate, friendship is irrelevant. Also, I don’t have any friends.

Well even though you find them irrelevant, I'll be your friend! Having friends is nice since you have have somebody to talk to, whenever you want to.

  I can’t afford normal food, there’s nothing to steal in this town and nobody to sell to if I did, and I don’t really enjoy the taste of raw mice. At least I don’t have to root through garbage cans, that’s the worst. Especially when people catch you, then not only do you have the taste of garbage in your mouth, but they also usually hurt you a lot.

What about friends? Don't you have any that are willing to help you out? Even if they don't give you money, they could invite you over a few times a week for dinner, lunch, breakfast.

-returns with the mouse in his talons, grabs it with his beak, and swallows it whole in a matter of seconds. He shivers pleasantly afterwards- Finally, something to eat! I should’ve done this days ago, but I was too proud. Seven days without eating hurts quite a bit.
