written by billie. ( 31 ) minors & overall weirdos ( you know what i mean ) dni. THIS IS NOT A SPOILER FREE BLOG! i’m well aware that people are not aware of crazy fun town ( it’s streaming on hulu ;) ). so, obviously, everyone is going to get spoiled. this blog will be horror heavy considering the series is about a bunch of different teenagers dying in gruesome ways in a amusement park & they are all spirits stuck there.
sideblog, followed back with @coastercrushed.

INFO UNDERCUT.
01. first things first, i am aware that a lot of people haven’t seen crazy fun town. i highly recommend it. it’ll make you laugh, it’ll make you cry, it’ll make you feel nostalgic. i digress because this will have a lot of horror aspects. a lot of the park kids died in really horrific ways. gonzo was the dj at the park in the 90s who got electrocuted going down a water slide whilst some loose, broken cords got wrapped around his foot on his way down. a lot of depressing topics will be mentioned considering gonzo had died suddenly and he's almost decayed to nothing due to his memory nearly being forgotten.
02. drama is not my thing. i avoid it in real life and you best believe i’m going to avoid it online, being that this is my hobby. i wont reblog callouts, but will read them. i’ll only reblog if the person is incredibly dangerous to make my followers be aware. no gross behavior with minor muses, either, thanks. don’t be transphobic, genderbend, whitewash, don’t be a racist asshole, don’t support n*zi imagery, don’t be a fucking dickhead.
03. oooooh i do love shipping! though, i do prefer a little bit of plotting beforehand. i think it’s very important to build a relationship ooc as well. i’m more comfortable to ship if we talk a little ooc.
04. i’m billie! i’ve thirty one years old and i’ve been apart of the rpc since late 2010. i’m an old lady. i’ve been around the block a few times. i work full time overnight ( twelve hour shifts ) at hospital & i have a lot of social obligations so i’m primarily mobile. most of my replies will be posted by queue due to this. my reply speed is slow and whilst i post a lot of ooc posts while at work & what not, it may sometimes take me a few days or even weeks to reply to a thread. patience is key! this is something i do whenever i want to destress and have fun.

“I want to hear Bela Lugosi’s Dead. Bauhaus, 1979.” She said, taking a step closer now she had his attention. Her brown eyes were bright with anticipation, her words coming a little faster than normal. “Do you have it on CD? They might have released it on CD, later. After the 80s.”
"bela lugosi's dead---....bauhaus." he'll murmur as he picks up his cd case, flipping through it. he had a lot of different music to hit the ears and souls of anyone who came into the park, including the weird goth kids. including henley, who preferred a more classical approach. not to mention, he did enjoy trolling his listeners, making them believe he was about to play beethoven only to scream SIKE before changing the tune to the beach boys. he'll finally find a mix that he felt may have had the song in question, adding it to his multiple cd player and hitting play. "i have a lot of music, sweet thang. let's just say i have a little bit of everything for every ear,"
oh. she'd found the park on accident, following a gut feeling. she hadn't expected what she found -- more ghosts than she'd ever encountered in one place, & most of them ... well, not unfriendly. gonzo was the one she'd taken to the most, though; he was sweet, & though difficult to understand, they'd more or less developed a compromise of language. she'd even come by tonight to bring some cds that she knew the library was planning to dispose of, just for him. that was another compromise of language -- music. but the discs are forgotten at his news. concern paints her face, impulse driving her forward to hug him tightly. "o-oh, g - gon-nz-zo -- i'm ... m's-s-so s-sorry -- what ... um. wh - what d-do y - you n-need? an-nyth-thing ... ?"
she remembers the discs, but doesn't move to grab them. her voice is still quiet. "o-oh! i br - brough-ght m-m-mus-sic f-for y-y-you."
nettie wasn't the first medium to stumble upon them. following their guts and their dreams, they'd stumble upon them eventually. especially whenever they were young and didn't know any better. the elders always knew better than to stay away from the park, not wanting to meddle in the spirit world, or to be more exact, the purgatory that the kids all lived in. the place where the fun never stops! though, it does stop eventually, doesn't it? after the body decays into worm food and compost, they only ran off memories. gonzo didn't have a lot of family left. a lot of his friends died from drug overdoses and the aids epidemic. gonzo was known of but never remembered the way he should be.
"i don't need anything, nettie. just your smiling face!" he'll grin, causing the skin around his lips to crack slightly. "you brought me back some music? well, let's take a look! see if i can play some new music for the fun kids!"
When Wesley was alive, he used to love spending his days out in the sun. Tending to the fields was one thing, satisfying in its hard work, but there was a certain peace that came along with walking the fence line, or just sitting out on the porch watching the clouds. Even after they moved, he still liked to go for walks around the neighborhood when he had the chance; any break from the house felt like a breath of fresh air, a soothing balm to aching bruise, pretending just for a moment to be a part of something else.
Being around Gonzo is like that, too - like sweet breeze on a spring morning. The second he finds Wesley, all the bad feelings start to thaw, and all his empty spaces fill in with the DJ's unfiltered thoughts. He’s not surprised to hear them turn toward Asha; ever since discovering her radio show and being remembered, Gonzo is always talking about her. The way Wesley would talk about Jacob, if he knew where he was, or if he was even okay. The way a lot of things are easier to talk about when they don’t still feel too heavy.
Wesley opens his mouth to reply, but nothing comes out, because Gonzo’s linking their arms together and for a moment, he forgets about everything else. He blinks; already uneven stride faltering, he looks down at their sides, at the casual show of affection, and feels his heart do something funny. Still, his only hesitation is in not knowing what to do — but even that fades after a second, letting himself fall into Gonzo’s side, shoulders brushing every so often. He swears he feels warmth radiating from wherever they touch.
( Fun ! He’s having fun? They’ve barely even done anything yet! )
“I — died before you,” Wesley finally manages, even though he knows Gonzo was just thinking out loud. He was too much of a hermit to be aware of what was popular, anyway, even in life, and they both know it. “Isn’t the arcade on the same block as the theater? Maybe we can walk by, see what’s going on.”
But he’s thinking about the movies now, and how excited Gonzo got at just the possibility of seeing his sister. Maybe that’s not something Wesley can guarantee, but he can at least make sure they end up catching a glimpse of the movie she was talking about.
“I bet if I saw the name of the movie, I’d recognize it,” he offers, brow slightly pinched in thought. “If not, I ‘spose there’s no harm in looking around a bit, either. It’s not like they’ll be checking our tickets.”
gonzo missed feeling the sun on his skin. he used to always have such tanned skin, which was now pale and lifeless. even after his electrocution, he looked almost angelic with his tanned skin. it was hard to believe he was dead. though, he still had no pulse. his skin slowly paled on the cold slab in the lab and that's how his skin remained. pale. nearly white. it was a shame, really. though, the closest he could get was watching the sunrise from the top of the ferris wheel, watching with amazement before he drifted out of existence until that night whenever he'd awaken face down in the pool like he did every night.
if only he knew that wesley saw him as the sunlight. the spring breeze. the thing that all the fun kids probably missed so much. god, it would make gonzo grin. knowing that wesley saw him as sunlight and the breeze of a spring morning. gonzo never really saw himself as much as anything. he just saw himself as gonzo. he was gregor "gonzo" vukovic. nothing more, nothing less.
"yeah, yeah. that's just technicalities. i was just---....speakin' aloud," a little giggle leaves him as he pulls wesley in closer by his arm, pressing his cheek to his shoulder for a split second. "yeah, it should be. so long as they didn't change everything up drastically," blue eyes look around as he looks at some of the trick or treaters run past him. "---...do you remember ever going trick or treatin'? it's a vague memory. i remember---...takin' ash out," her little hand in his, smiling down at her curly blonde head. she's dressed like a princess.
"yeah, it's supposed to be a scary one. if you get scared you can hold my hand," he'll give him a playful wink.
@dcwnthercbbithcle sent in: “ Hey… I love you, you know that, right?”
gonzo can't help but offer doe a large grin, his eyes squinting and creasing at the sides. ah, he knew. he knew all too well! the movement to his face causes some of the skin to crack, another reminder of how he was on borrowed time. he tried not to think about it too much, even though he managed to lose a finger earlier that night and a bird flew off with it. that was always a bummer. he couldn't even tape it back on to try to slow the process. violetta needed to hurry up! he didn't bother to look at himself in the mirror, but he was sure he didn't look very good. granted, none of them really did but---....whenever the decay starts you only start to look worse.
"you know i love you too, right?" he'll reach forward to rest a hand on her thigh, nodding his head slowly. "don't give me that look. i'm sure vi will figure something out. she's smarter than jam on paint, she is!"
'you still listen to music from 10 years ago 🤨?' bitch if prehistoric humans had audio recording technology id be sat up here listening to grog and unga bunga's greatest hits don't play with me
@thebasketcasebabe sent in: Allison is hovering by the DJ booth waiting for Gonzo to look up. She wants him to play Bauhaus next.
ah, allison. she was a bit of an oddball, wasn't she? he'll look up from his cd case he had been flipping through, tongue clicking on the roof of his mouth. "al, you know, you have to tell me what you want to hear. i can't read minds," it could be a smorgasbord of different music whenever to came to allison but he wasn't a mind reader! he hated assuming things. it would be just as bad as assuming siobhan wanted to listen to backstreet boys whenever she preferred nsync. "so, what's the request?"
