His main character pose is chewing the skin off of his thumb. In the anime, he also picks at his skin and wounds, collecting the scabs and otherwise in a jar.

...The prequel foreshadowed Dafu's demise more than one time. The first indicator is Tamiya aiming his slingshot for Dafu, but the second is more subtle.

In chapter 2, page 5 of the prequel, Kaneda suggests: "Pretty sure it could travel through a man's skull", when talking about the fire power of a slingshot. (Dafu exclaims: "Eeeeek!")

...The Hikari Club already existed for one year, before Zera joined.

...Zera disobeyed his own rule. Number seven states: "Eternity is impossible. Therefore, the Hikari Club is not permanent. Regardless, we are humanity's sole line of light!" He later opposes this very commandment, while trying to lecture Tamiya about them.
