Here is a mix of playblasts for each shot, to show where we are at the moment and how things all work together.

Here are some more lighting test renders.

I am starting to put all the scenes together now, since Sam is getting towards the end of animating. Here are some test renders testing lighting colour and temperature and to see what things look like when all the textures are together.
Close-ups of the final skin on Mork, based on the turnaround. The skin also has normal maps for details such as raised spots on his skin and stitches in his clothes.
Here is a video of my most recent development of the wires for the lights. Clusters attached to a curve and then animated, seem to be the most efficient and easy way to do this.
However I am just having a few problems constraining the bulbs to the wire.

So Jacob's given us a great texture for Mork's character model- here it is in action!
Here's the character animation on Fright Lights so far- now to make him climb!
Here is a quick playblast of the work I have done so far today. I finally have got the nhair dynamics working against the building and not colliding. Next step to actually create a wire which fits with one of the shots.

First test render of luminescence on the light bulbs.

I just managed to get a test together of a lightbulb constrained to my nhair wire. Looking good so far. I used a concrete texture for my nCloth bulb.

Just a quick idle I put together for Mork, with Lana's latest rig build.
Here's some very basic animation tests after getting to grips with Mork's facial blendshapes. As the skinning process is not yet finished, I'll hold off animating the full body for now, but seeing Mork emote like this is extremely satisfying!
It's safe to say that skinning is NOT going as planned.

Blendshapes have successfully been imported into Maya. Next steps are re-checking the rig and skinning!
