Hello! I've really enjoyed six kinds of love and recently thought to reread it since it has been awhile! But I've noticed that it has since been deleted and I wonder if you are okay with saying why you have decided to delete it. It's okay if you don't. Also, Is it still possible to read it somewhere or is there a plan to reupload it one day? Hope you are okay! :)

Hi! I already explained in great detail why I was deleting it (this was posted in the fic itself around 2 weeks before I removed it), and it’s kind of a long story. Short version is that it was too personal for me to feel comfortable having it online, and I also found that because I was in a much better place mentally, I was having a very hard time keeping the story on track. Because of this, it isn’t available to read anywhere online and I will not be re-uploading it as I just don’t feel comfortable having it out there. Thank you very much for asking!

I'll admit it was sad to read the final update about SKoL, but you should not feel forced to write something that wholly makes you uncomfortable. It was a wild ride and I'll always treasure this gem of a story. Naturally, I have a couple of questions that, if possible, I'd love answered. Let me sleep on it, for now. Oh, by the way, it'd be really nice to see more of Late Bloomer

Heeeeeey guys.

So here’s the thing, and I’ll try not to waffle on about it.

Yes, I’ve been pretty much radio silent for over a year. But I’ve recently gotten some nice comments on my fics, giving me praises, and asking if I’m planning to update.

The honest answer? I don’t know.

As far as Six Kinds of Love goes, I started writing the story - one that was brutal and emotional and dealt with heavy themes, but was ultimately supposed to be about recovery and love - as a way to cope with the trauma I’ve experienced in my own life. I’m truly in a good place right now and I have been for a while, which has made writing it difficult. Do I WANT to keep writing it? Of course. There’s still so much more to the story that I have planned. But I can’t make promises I might not be able to keep. So I won’t promise to update, or finish the story. I will certainly try, because I still love the story, and I’m still excited for the sheer drama of the climax that is still a long ways off.

As for any of my other fics, I still enjoy writing. But I just find it’s not really my main thing these days. I wrote so much because I had nothing but time alone to deal with my thoughts and feelings and emotions. That just isn’t the case any longer.

I really would dearly love to write my fics and update them for you guys and for myself, and I will certainly try, but I just can’t promise anything. For Six Kinds of Love, I can promise that I DO have the entirety of the story planned (or at least most of it), it’s just a case of sitting down to write it, if I ever do. But if I don’t, I can still describe for you guys the way it was supposed to end.

But we won’t get too ahead of ourselves yet. I will absolutely make an effort to continue updating, because I once found writing the story cathartic, and I loved engaging with you guys, and I recognise that at its peak, Six Kinds of Love was one of the most popular fics in the Yuri On Ice fandom, which means a lot of people would have been desperately awaiting an update. And I hate to let anyone down.

So to sum up, I will try to update. I can’t promise anything, but I will try.

*rises from the grave a year late with off-brand starbucks in hand* what’s good?

I posted a little update on the 6KoL story on AO3, but I’ll say again here that I’m not dead, I’ve never been really active online and this is quite normal for me, and I AM still working on the story! Had some difficulties writing it that I had to work through. I’ve subsequently deleted all the unposted stuff I had written and I’m starting from scratch (or, well, from where the story left off last time I updated). Got about 800 words of the next chapter, which isn’t much, but I’m making a very conscious effort to write at least once a week, so hopefully I can post a new chapter before the end of the month! No promises.

The coming chapters will deal with the gang all developing their relationships, the introductions of new characters, and a big game changer at the end of what I’m calling the first arc! I doubt I’ll split the story, so it might wind up just being a long single fic. We’ll see!

Here’s an unpopular opinion that shouldn’t be unpopular: Not wanting sex is a reasonable boundary to set for literally any reason. Be it your trauma, your mental health, your sexuality, or any other factor. Your partners should respect that and they should respect you. This shouldn’t be a debate.
