honestly yes. i love this ballet. it’s really weird and dramatic and i think everyone is sleeping on the technical level of chinese dancers in this era like too bad the political situation severed their dance scene from the rest of the world bc these dancers a.) didn’t get the recognition they deserved b.) didn’t get to do any repetoire??? like anything depicting romantic love (ie all the classics) was banned???
