Okay so I have an announcement. I've decided to open my inbox for fanfic requests. I've only written like two so far but I've thoroughly enjoyed writing the ones that I have. I am going to ask for the requests to only be Amphibia related because I tend to focus on one show at a time, and since Amphibia is my focus right now, I'm not really focusing on anything else. I can't wait to get started!

I don't know how better to articulate the fact that Andrias seems like such an incompetent leader than through just the sheer amount Marcy does around Newtopia tbh.

Like, oh. We need someone to make a strategy for taking care of a threat to the city? Call Marcy. Oh, we need scientists on board to figure out the behaviours and anatomy of the enemies? No, Marcy's doing that too actually. Well we're gonna need someone to get weaponry or potions for the mission? Actually Marcy's got it handled. Alright, well, great, looks like our strategist/biologist/botanist/mage on staff (what the fuck)....uh....handled all that stuff....so, I guess we just need guards to go on the mission? No, actually, Marcy's going to lead the mission. Okay, why not, may as well happen, uh, whatever, so, on another note, Newtopia's lovely, I really like the architecture, what technique do we use? marcy came up with new and more efficient architectural practices in newtopia...of course. and she's also responsible for sanitation overhauls and improvements to the city's sewer systems. why not. Need to talk to the person in charge of security? That's Marcy too. A noble who'll actually give a shit about whatever it is you need? Literally no option but Marcy! The King needs a magical artifact recharged? Yeah no Marcy's on the mission right now actually. The city's under siege and the king's in jail? You already know Marcy's gonna go break him out personally while everyone else twiddles their thumbs! Bonus in that she's already planning on how to redesign Amphibia's political structure entirely to prevent future incidents! She'll probably work on that on her off time while she's out helping along the upcoming campaigns into other completely undiscovered worlds like the king asked her to. Ah, wait, the king's actually evil and is putting everyone in danger for the sake of imperialistic conquering and is throwing children off buildings and trying to kill people? Marcy'll save the kid personally and get everyone out the door while also helping to fight off the new robot army, don't worry about it (ignore the stabbing).

LIKE. I'M SORRY. SHE DOES SO MUCH. AND IT'S HEAVILY IMPLIED THAT'S NOT EVEN ALL SHE'S DONE.

There's no world in which Andrias doesn't look incompetent when he seems incapable of even sitting through a report without walking off to go do his own thing that has nothing to do with the wellbeing of his country and is placed next to Marcy who is just the amalgamation of the intersecting tropes The Main Character Does Everything, The Only One, and One Riot One Ranger. Like, idk if Andrias is meant to look incompetent at his job, but if the writers don't want me to think this man is an absolute failure of a king then they probably shouldn't have had another character handle literally every halfway decent political or militant move to come out of Newtopia literally ever. And i'll be real I kinda really love the fact that Andrias seems so woefully ineffectual compared to the girl he just stabbed because quite frankly i'd love to see him realize how much he fucked up by killing the girl who handled everything around here and most likely had a higher approval rate than him as well. I'm sure i've talked about this before, but I just Really wanna see it, damnit! gdjnfxj fhjkfn

they could just do so much with this. they could totally fuck him over, as a threat he didnt see coming, with the civilians of newtopia suddenly swinging away from loyalty to him to marcy’s friends. because they seem so loyal to him in true colors, but we already saw from the clip of the report from yunan that he’s completely disinterested in the toad rebellion and newtopia’s safety. so what if that love is just from, having him around for so long? and then suddenly marcy’s there, and he looks good bc of all She’s done, but then she’s gone, and it’s his fault, and her best friend is saying he killed her, and of course, yeah, ok, king’s been king a while, but now they know what they could’ve been having. what they’ve been having, bc of marcy, and the toads because of sasha and the frogs because of anne and andrias just gets super duper fucked not because of any of the threats he saw coming, but simply because he just disconnected from the world he leads over now because he wanted to conquer some more. would be poetic cinema at its finest. wanna see it sooo bad.

So I had idea for an au

Anne pushes herself to far taking all of the power out of the heart gem the energy she takes from it bonds with Anne making her into a living heart stone. But it overwhelms her and she basically forgets everything she doesn't know who she is, she doesn't know what she is, absolutely nothing and because of fight or flight instinct her immediate response is to send a shockwave out and running making sure nobody can follow her.

Anne just wanders around aimlessly not a single coherent thought able to pass through her brain due to all of the overwhelming energy.

On he other end of things Andrias and a corrupted Marcy are on the hunt for Anne because now they need her alive to use the calamity box but her friends and family are thinking similar.

The race is on for who can find her first, Sasha, Grime, and the Plantars to hopefully rehabilitate Anne and help her remember who she is, or Andrias and Marcy to use her as a glorified battery.

I thought of a part where maybe king Andrias does capture her and a part of Marcy's conscience is struggling to retake control of her body while suffering having to see what they're and technically she is doing to Anne
