I have a strange gaming goal
I want to play at least 40 hours of at least 10 different games on steam.
Why? well because back in high school my friend was OBSESSED with Danganronpa Trigger Happy so I gave the game a try. I hated it. I found it really really boring and was only interested after like chapter 3 or something. I would often stop playing and leave the ideal so by the time I finished it I had 39.8 hours.
Now I am proud I finished the game because I actually have legs to stand on when I say with my whole chest that this games sucks (I tried playing the second game for the same reason but cringed so hard with the stupid pink thing I didnāt get more 3 hours in). However I hate that it shows up as one of my top played games on steam. Itās not representative of the types of games I actually enjoy playing
So far I have 6 games with over 49 hours
1. Marvel Rivals (425 hours)
2. Baldurās Gate 3 (261 hours)
3. In Stars and Time (89.4 hours)
4. Expedition 33 (57.2 hours)
5. Horizon Zero Dawn (46.4 hours)
6. God of War (45.4 hours)
I hope one day I will reach a point where I will have to scroll to see Danganronpa in my steam library (when sorted by play time)
I have a few games that if I replay them I know I will get over that 40 hour bench mark
1. Sticky Business (38 hours)
2. Portal 2 (37 hours) (I really love portal 2)
3. Jedi Fallen Order (36 hours)
4. Night in the Woods (30 hours) (played through twice, what harm is a third?)
5. Marvelās Spiderman (30 hours)
6. Marvelās Guardians of the Galaxy (23.1 hours)
If I replay all these games I will guarantee to exceed that limit and push me closer to my goal. Especially if I double the time Iāve played on them.
I just feel like all these games are way more representative of my gaming preferences compared to⦠Danganronpa
I canāt take away that time I spent on it but I can make it seem inferior ļæ¼

I saw project Hail Mary last week
Iām in a college town and it was a completely sold out theater. Super cool experience, would do again
Actually in the past year (2025/2026) I think Iāve been to at least 4 or 5 completely sold out movies. These were at my small local theater that has $10 tickets ($5 on Tuesdays) that you can only get at the door. Turns out, if tickets are affordable people will go!

based on a twitter post by @_engineerPlier_ ! found here.
ALL THIS WEEK IāVE FELT LIKE TUMBLR IS MOCKING ME, EVERYONE IS TALKING ABOUT IRON LUNG AND HOW GOOD IT IS. MEANWHILE IM HERE CRYING BECAUSE IN ORDER TO SEE IT IāD HAVE TO TRAVEL TO ANOTHER COUNTRY ššš
Donāt get me wrong, im really glad Mark is successful and that the movieās doing good. I just wish i could be part of that success. This feels like the time i had to subscribe to a vpn service in order to watch the edge of sleep before it got removed from amazon prime.
And i was so hyped for this movie, still am, iāve been listening to distractable (Markās podcast with Bob and Wade) since the begging and of course Iāve listened to most episodes and whenever Mark talked about the movie i got so excited, i wanted to see it in theaters so bad, even if that meant going alone. (I didnāt have any friends who were fans, and my brother who lowkey is didnāt care for the movie)
But then i met this guy at my college, heās chill as fuck, turns out heās a fan too, so now at least i have someone to cry with.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE MR PLIERS, THINK OF YOUR MEXICAN FANS AND ALL YOUR LATIN AMERICAN FANS WHILE YOUāRE AT IT, WE WANT TO SHARE THE IRON LUNG SUCCESS WITH YOU TOO šš
Guysā¦guess what i saw today
IT WAS SO FUCKING WORTH IT AAAAAAAA
I went in being like āits gonna be like, movie level good at least, i trust Markā AND I WENT OUT LIKE āWHAT THE FUCKā
I went with a pal from school, heās more of a casual fan but was still curious about the movie. We were like āhehe, markiplier movieā and when it was over we were like āwhat the fuck is being alive even aboutā IT WAS SO SO GOOD AND IM SO SO PROUD OF MARK
He doesnt know i fucking exist, and he probably never will, but fuck he means the whole world to me. And i can only ever hope as a person in the creative industry to be able to do a fraction of the work heās ever done. God im so happy for him and i cant wait to see what the future holds.
Dude Iām so happy you got to see it!!!
I mean sure he doesnāt know you exist but I know you exist and we met due to Markās fandom. Sure, we donāt talk much anymore but I still consider you an internet friend and get happy every time I see you on my dash.
Iām happy we both got to experience this movie in theaters. It was an incredible experience and I left feeling amazed by all the work and effort put into it.
You work with Markiplier and he is a great motivator
*me explaining marvel comic book lore to my friends*
āYes it DOES matter if you specify if a character is a mutant versus a mutate they are different! No you canāt call Spider-man an āartificial mutantā it has implications to the lore and world building! Yes it matters! I donāt care if the definition ātechnically countsā fuck off!ā
CW: Epstein files
Okay I need someone to explain this to me
Why redact in the first place?

Genuinely what the fuck is the point of in another document the name will just⦠be there. Who the fuck is Josh? How old is this girl? What happened to her? Is she still alive??
Fuck this administration, fuck Epstein and all the pedo protectors in congress, and fuck Donald Trump
We arenāt mad enough
I almost never wish to see characters I like have a biological kid, I feel like it causes the mother to lose her agency and forever classifies that character as nothing but a mother.
Buuuuuuuuut
I lowkey would love to see Gambit and Rogue have a biological kid. I feel like superheroes are rarely allowed to progress their relationships so watching progress to Gambit and Rogue finally getting married and staying a happy couple has been really cute. It hasnāt been easy and theyāve fought, a lot but they love each other and thatās all that matters. So seeing characters like Gambit and Rogue who are both on a team that constantly displays itself as reminiscent as āfamilyā decide the next step of their relationship could be having a kid be interesting.
Additionally both Rogue and Gambit come from very chaotic and atypical childhoods so trying to raise a kid to have a somewhat normal childhood could be interesting. ESPECIALLY because they really donāt know what that means nor will it be able to happen by the nature of their lives as mutants and X-men. It could be somewhat tragic, wanting nothing in the world for their kid to have a normal life but not being able to give that too them and the only thing they can do is love the child unconditionally.
What I wouldnāt want is bullshit rapid aging of the kid or anything like that. I want that kid aging at a normal child rate. I donāt care if it messes with the time frame of everything, itās Marvel comics itās already a mess. Also let them keep the fucking kid! And actually raise it! No throwing the kid into the future or the kid disappears and reappears years later grown up. Let the kid age and grow with its family.
Comics have done it before with Sue, Reed and Franklin (I donāt want to talk about Valeria).
I like the idea of Gambit and Rogue having a kid and being a happy family or whatever but I would really intrigued if they retreaded Fantastic Four #267. It would be interesting for someone to explore the topic of miscarriage from a more mature modern perspective. Like the FF did a good job in the initial comic but the aftermath was rough (have Sue run around in Leather gear was not the best). Marvel wouldnāt have the guts to do it but itās an interesting and hard topic that could benefit from having a light shown on it.
That could be very interesting, it could also be very heartbreaking if Rogueās abilities meant that carrying a child would be practically impossible

āHow will rogue and gambit have s-ā
GAMBIT AND ROGUE HAVE BEEN CANONICALLY FUCKING FOR YEARS
Rogue has been in control of her powers since like 2008
Now what could be interesting is if due to the connection of mother and child, Rogue wouldnāt be able to use her abilities on the kid. Which I would personally prefer because I donāt trust those comic writers with having a mother character who has the ability to absorb her childās memories or abilities

I saw iron lung yesterday and was BLOWN AWAY!
It was so good, I highly recommend those who are fans of slow burn horror movies to give it watch. It starts slow and eases into the horror and ends with high intensity.
I recommend really letting your get immersed into it, just lock in big time! Become the convict. Feel what he feels. 10/10.
Also if you go⦠DONT FUCKING TALK!! The movie relies on silence at points so your voice WILL CARRY. I had people in my theater yapping the whole movie and I was losing my mind
