lore accurate hermes
the REAL final player character: hermes!
thistleshade of riverclan
(the product of one of the players rolling a nat20 to find someone to flirt with)
snailspeck my heart and soul :3
and our final player (for now), priscilla! the sea elf ranger!
priscilla joined the party a little later than the other three, meeting them after thunderclan warriors dragged her into camp— where the players happened to be staying at the time. as is only natural for a new party member, she instantly made enemies with sniffles (rather, sniffles made enemies with her). she is perhaps the most rational of the party members, at least until she is confronted with literally any female npc.
our third player, onion!
a sweet little house cat turned elf druid upon entering the clans’ forest. you might be shocked to discover he is the smartest of the party because (personally) i think he would cry if you asked him to spell his own name. his thoughtfulness and general “conflict makes me throw up” attitude is a refreshing counterbalance to the constantly-in-conflict moses and sniffles!
meet our second player, sniffles!
a deadbeat dad (and a goliath barbarian). hmmm. i wonder if someone else in the party has any sort of negative feelings towards him.
sniffles is nasty and dirty and stinky and sleeps on an old rag— before being forced into the clans’ forest. he is haunted (by what? who knows.) and will take it out on you, personally.
onto the player characters! meet moses, a bugbear paladin old man with a savior complex!
before the inciting events that led the players to the clans’ forest, moses was a well-known street cat living in the two-leg town. he can’t quite remember his life before becoming a stray, but it doesn’t matter too much to him anyhow— he was never one to dwell on the past. what he does know is that he Stands Up for What He Believes In, such as, i dunno, being a Good Father (surely this doesn’t have anything to do with a grudge he holds against another player character….. surely he actually cares about the children and isn’t just mad at this one guy).
moses acts as a father and guide to (MOST) of the player characters, using his age and wisdom to lead them down what he believes to be a good path. he has strong morals that he will argue endlessly for (yes, truly endlessly) and he doesn’t compromise when it comes to his core ideals. this allows him to get along well with most cats, while simultaneously forming impressively antagonistic relationships with a few.
fantasy windclan territory!
set on an expansive moor bordered by mountains to the south, a farm to east, and a deep gorge to the north. to the southeast of the night sky lies the constellation where starclan cats roam. windclan’s territory is littered with ancient ruins depicting some sort of draconic civilization. oddly enough, the ruins seem to move when no eyes are on them, never staying in the same place for long. windclan cats have noticed the movement, but try not to think about it too hard.
i have backgrounds for each location in the campaign for extra immersion, and truthfully i normally take them from google images since it’s just for my friends, but there’s NO good fantasy moorland images. there’s no WINDCLAN images either. so since everyone hates my darling windclan i drew her myself.
monk aarakocra tallstar, my peaceful boy
as leader of windclan, tallstar tries to maintain balance in the forest. he delivers some amount of prey weekly to the starving shadowclan cats while simultaneously keeping firestar’s ambition (and temper) in check. he even manages to be on decent terms with leopardstar, despite the fact she seems to want nothing to do with the other three clans. some older warriors who lived through the windclan exile seem to resent tallstar’s pacifism, but the majority of the clan think him to be noble and wise. despite his calm, measured demeanor, his closest friends and council note that something seems to weigh heavy on him, though he never lets on what it is.
he leads the clan with his deputy, onewhisker, and medicine cat, barkface.
the unbothered (represses everything and denies emotions) leopardstar, leader of riverclan.
after letting love lead her to putting her own clan at risk during tigerstar’s reign, leopardstar (and, by extension, all of riverclan) has vowed against getting involved in other clans’ matters. this is especially true for anything involving shadowclan— for starclan’s sake, their leader killed riverclan’s deputy a couple short years ago. distancing herself from the other three clans, leopardstar spends her days consulting starclan and doing what she thinks her ancestors would want. her deputy, mistyfoot, and medicine cat, mudfur, help her lead the clan’s detatched, quiet life.
my pathetic babygirl BLACKSTAR
he is a bugbear rogue, and the leader of shadowclan— a clan of stealthy craftsmen (rogues, druids, and warlocks as the main classes, and bugbears, halflings, tieflings, and dwarves as the main races). since the scourge incident, shadowclan’s territory has been slowly becoming less hospitable. the clan is starving, and none of the other clans seem too keen to help them considering, you know, they tried to take over the forest or whatever. firestar believes that starclan cursed shadowclan’s lands as punishment for turning their back on their ancestors, but blackstar believes something else is going on. whatever is the case, what once was a clan known for their expert smithing and weaving abilities— producing the highest quality weapons, armor, and decorative tapestries in the forest— has been driven to eating rotten roadkill to get through the day.
blackstar’s council consists of russetfur as his deputy and runningnose as his medicine cat.
mr. prophecy himself
my firestar design for the dnd campaign. he is boisterous and entitled and thinks himself a god— and, you know, the erin hunters also seemed to think so, so maybe he’s right? anyway, for my campaign, he is sitting comfy as the leader of thunderclan two years after saving the forest from scourge (for the purposes of the campaign, we are pretending like the second series doesn’t exist). he’s a goliath barbarian, and his clan consists of big beefy hard-hitters— barbarians, paladins, fighters, you get the point. graystripe serves as his deputy and cinderpelt as his medicine cat.
i have scrounged around in the depths of my brain to drag out my twelve year old warrior cat obsessed self and now i am hitting her with a STICK like a PIÑATA and from her remains i have created… a warrior cats dnd campaign. and now i will yell about it into the void of tumblr dot com.
