“You will always be too much of something for someone: too big, too loud, too soft, too edgy. If you round out your edges, you lose your edge.”
— Danielle LaPorte, The Positivity of Pride (via meineluft)
J.S. PARK
That’s what Jesus did
Godlessness has infiltrated the very fabric of our society. Scores of young people, have been spiritually starved. They have been raised to believe there is no God. This is all happening because God’s people have taken His Word very casually. We have taken sin lightly and have tolerated it in our midst and have started to live for ourselves. We see the hollowness in youngsters—a vacancy, a desperate quest for something to satisfy the emptiness inside. They try to fill this with drugs, sex and so called spiritual experiences, and false religions, forsaking the way of the Lord. As parents, as teachers and elders, we have a responsibility to cry out for this generation. Let us not take prayer lightly. Nothing is going to change if we don’t stand in the gap for this dying generation. We have to rise, pray with God-given burden and plead for mercy. Lamentations 2:19 says, “Pour out your heart like water before the face of the Lord. Lift your hands toward Him for the life of your children.”
