Fragments of my broken heart

I’ve never felt so much bitterness, pain and anger inside my heart since the day he said goodbye. It’s so hard to let everything go. Moving on ain’t easy. I asked myself if the fleeting happy moments were worth the pain, I find no answer. 

He’s happy now, while I am stuck in the pain, self-pity and nightmares. I’m giving myself all the time to be sad, cry and cry until I am finally okay. Hopefully a year from January 20th, I will be all good again like who I was before I ended up like this, before I fell in love with him. I look forward to a better me. 

Help me Lord. I want to be happy & free.
