Virtual photography. Is it really a photograph if what's being captured is created by other artists? My answer is yes.
The same principles for what makes a good photo applies in virtual photography -- capturing combinations of the most interesting subjects, shapes, lighting, colors and moments.
For over a month now, I've been taking in-game photographs in the beautiful, whacky world of Cyberpunk. I find it oddly soothing to 'walk' through the streets of Night City and capture the craziness happening around me. It also feels like a nice counterbalance to the way I see things in real life, and the way I photograph the streets.
Here are a select few from two rolls of the new Cinestill 400D. Unlike Cinestill's other offerings, this isn't a rejiggered motion picture film -- they say it's something new that's been developed for many years. I was not used to the colors at first, but they're growing on me...and the halation...just...*chef's kiss
