In the middle of Huntington, West Virginia, there is a park. On the end of that park, there is an amphitheater. And on the exact same weekend, once every year, throughout the park, throughout the town, Music brings a community together. That's right everyone! It's that time of year again! This weekend in Huntington,Wv, is all about the 4th annual Huntington Music & Arts Festival. This year the festival features 23 musical acts & many local artists! The actual festival will be held on Saturday at the Ritter Park Amphitheater, but there are have been Pre-parties happening since last night! Make sure if you are in the area, to come down & check it out! FRC will be there, dancing, selling tickets & taking photos! Last night FRC visited Funky Towne, one of Huntington,West Virginia's awesome house show venues, created & ran by Huntington's own, Brandon Mitchell ( @funkeebrandon ). This evenings line up was extraordinary! It featured, Sam C a poet, Shane Hall a rap artist from Massachusetts, Warzawa a melodic math punk band from Huntington, The Yugos a dance/ indie band from Covington,KY, Silent Lions a two piece spook soul band from Toledo, OH & FRC's favorite Huntington,WV 5 piece power pop band, AC30!
