I’m so sorry to come to this, but I’ve decided that I’ll probably stop playing The Sims and leave the Sims community.
Firstly, my game is completely broken, it’s unplayable, I’m getting constant infinite loading screens, lots disappear and revert back to original lots, and it lags all the time, even though I’ve tried playing without mods.
It’s really sad, I’ve been playing this game since I was a little kid and grew up with it. There is so much I still haven’t had the time to try, but now I will never get the chance.
I’ve met so many wonderful people in the Sims community, and I will miss all the good times.
I gave the game one last try yesterday, but it’s still totally broken and refuses to work. I’m not going to spend more money on something that doesn’t work. I’ve spent so much on this game, purchased all the expansions, and yet you still can’t play it. It really upsets me.
Maybe I’ll give it another try someday. But considering EA’s buyout, I honestly feel even less motivated to ever return to the game.
I’m grateful for all the people I’ve met here, grateful for all the memories and how much fun I’ve had with the game over the years. But enough is enough. There’s a limit to how much you can take and how much you’re willing to accept when a company takes your money for something that doesn’t even work.
