Probably my top favorite otome game! Our MC has a very unique situation (poison flows through her veins which melts/kills anything her bare skin touches, and she has to learn how to feel her emotions again due to past trauma and growing up quite isolated). The overarching plot and everyone else's personal routes are interesting / managed to hold my interest, and the writing overall is solid. The cast as a whole (love interests and side characters) is loveable. The steampunk aesthetics are pretty, too!
— Love & Deepspace
Too many games I've played have a very meek, shy MC that I don't relate to, so I appreciate how bold and often forward our MC is here! Rafayel is one of my favorite characters across media, and I really enjoy the bulk of the other cast. The main storyline is setting up to be very interesting, and I love that there are fluffy, angsty, and risqué moments.
— Piofiore
Romance between mafioso and a sheltered church girl. Not my favorite MC because of how passive she is, but she's very sweet! I think her role hinders the story in some ways, but enhances it in others (in some routes she is stuck at the home base all the time cooking and cleaning and running small errands, while the love interest is away). I find all of the characters interesting, though some routes hold my interest more than others (for example, Dante is one of my favorites, but I think his route is a bit boring—Yang is my other favorite, and his route is very exciting).
— Olympia Soirée
The premise is a little cheesy (only girl left of a special/powerful clan who needs to find a husband to continue her bloodline), but the writing is pretty good! It's an entertaining game overall, and it's interesting to see how the social hierarchy plays out. I only really like one of the love interests (Himuka), but that's a matter of personal taste. The others are well-written, just not my type!
— Mr. Love Queen's Choice
A mobile game I played waaay back in the day and never finished because my interests strayed elsewhere, but it ended up being a precursor of sorts to L&DS (which is part of the reason I was interested in starting L&DS). I really don't remember much, but the setting and storyline was pretty entertaining. I can't remember too much about the love interests, but I adored Lucien and Victor. I do eventually want to continue with it.

✦ HAKUHO HIGH HASSLES -> Normally, weekend practice isn’t on the agenda—but a big game is coming up and there’s really nowhere else to fit extra practice into a bunch of busy schedules. The Hakuho team already practices in the afternoon after classes, and yet there is still much to work on especially with the somewhat recent addition of Nagi. As amazing as his skills are, it has been hard integrating him into the team since he 1) outclasses everyone else on the team and 2) doesn’t really know what he should be doing without Reo’s instruction. So, for the next couple weeks, weekend practices are a must.
You wake up bright and early that Saturday morning, getting ready for the day and heading out just a little bit ahead of schedule. In your opinion, it’s a shame that everyone has to take time out of their weekend to practice instead of resting, so you figure it would be nice to pick up something tasty as a treat to raise everyone’s spirits! Rewarding hard work should keep motivation high for the coming week.
Hands laden with a couple of heavy bags filled with a variety of beverages and snacks you know everyone likes, you start trekking from the convenience store to the Hakuho campus. It’s not a far jaunt, but enough of one that you have to pep yourself up given your cargo. As you’re walking, a sleek vehicle pulls up beside you. You barely spare it a second glance at first, focused on making it to the school, but you stop when one of the back windows rolls down and a familiar head of purple hair pokes out.
“Hey! Let me give you a ride!” Reo’s offer is highlighted with a bright, welcoming smile that you can’t help but return. “We’re both going the same way anyways, and your hands are full. Hang on, let me help.”
With the car stopped on the side of the road, Reo steps out to open the door and take both of the hefty bags from your hands. He ushers you into the back seat of the car, sliding back in after you, and setting the bags on the seat in the open space between you. You settle into the nice seats, buckling yourself in. The interior is nice, which is to be expected as a vehicle belonging to the Mikage family. A large older woman with twin buns is in the driver’s seat, and once everyone is settled she puts the car back in drive and continues down the road.
“This was nice of you,” Reo says, referring to the snacks and beverages you purchased. “I’ll reimburse you. And don’t try to argue that you’re fine paying—it’s not a big deal for me to cover any of the costs for the team.”
You sigh goodnaturedly, but you allow him to pay you back for the snacks. Then, the conversation pivots to what the recommended training drills will be for the day. Right now, the biggest focus is making sure the team knows how to synergize well. Of course, the basics can’t be neglected, either—especially since everyone is starting from different spots in their football journey, and they all learn at different paces. The drive to the school is pleasant, and it feels like barely any time has passed at all once the car parks outside the front gates.
Reo helps you carry the snacks to the field, and you start setting things up while he goes and changes. Little by little, the rest of the team starts to show up. By the agreed-upon time, almost everyone is present.
Almost.
Every single person on the team showed up except for one certain Nagi Seishiro.
Oh, that punk. You had painstakingly looked over everyone’s schedules to make sure the whole team could meet up at the same time to practice, reminded each person about the weekend meetup throughout the week, and despite everything… Nagi didn’t show up! Considering what you know of his personality so far, you find it highly doubtful that he’s actually doing anything important this morning. He’s either sleeping in or absorbed in some video game.
Before you can voice your annoyance, Reo beats you to it with an exasperated sigh. “That guy… Well, I’m going to go get him. He’s part of the reason we’re doing this, after all.” He grabs his phone, planning on trying to call his snowy-haired teammate on the way over. He pauses as he heads off the field, glancing over at you. “Wanna come with? I think he’ll listen better to you.”
You’re quick to agree, so after you delegate training drills to the rest of the teammates that will be remaining at the school for the time being, you follow Reo back to his car. The old woman (who is way more massive than she initially seemed when she was driving!) is standing there, and confusion shows on her face.
“Is there a problem, young master?”
“One of our teammates didn’t show up, so we’re going to go get him.”
The woman nods at the plan, then turns to you and bows with a warm smile. “I apologize, I didn’t get the chance to introduce myself earlier. You can call me Baya. I am young master Reo’s personal attendant.”
Granny, huh? It seems like a very casual way to call a stranger, but very endearing. You introduce yourself, and Reo tacks on that you’re one of his new friends and the manager of the Hakuho team.
“Well, I hope to see more of you in the future, dear. Now let’s go get this other friend of yours,” Baya says as she opens the back door for you and Reo to hop in, shutting the door once you’re secured, and then heading back to the driver’s seat.
-
It doesn’t take long to reach Nagi’s place, a nice apartment complex in a residential neighborhood not far from the school. Although Reo sends a few texts and attempts to call Nagi a few times, he doesn’t receive a response. Baya remains in the car while Reo leads you up to Nagi’s unit. Clearly, he has been here before—there isn’t an ounce of hesitation in the way that he navigates the building. Eventually, he stops in front of a door and knocks.
No answer.
He knocks again, more insistently, longer. “Nagi! Get up!”
A few long, quiet moments pass before you hear the door unlock, and your sleepy white-haired schoolmate opens the door. He looks like he just rolled out of bed, hair messy and eyes barely open.
“Huh…?”
“Nagi, we were all supposed to meet for practice today. Get ready,” Reo states firmly, though he sounds more like a mother hen than anything. He steps into Nagi’s apartment, nudging the boy towards his bedroom. He looks towards you, giving you a bright smile. “I’ll make sure he gets ready. Just hang tight for a minute, okay?”
You stifle a laugh as Reo and Nagi disappear out of the main room, and turn your attention to taking in the decor. It’s very simple, minimally decorated… Honestly, not a surprise in and of itself. What is more interesting is that it seems he lives alone. Amongst all the drab colors, one pop of green catches your eye: a little bunny ears cactus. It sits on a ledge by the window, basking in the morning sun. It also looks very healthy—Nagi may be a little too apathetic for his own good, but it’s clear that he takes good care of this little friend.
“Okay, we’re ready to head out!” Reo declares as he and Nagi step back into the room. Nagi still looks sleepy, with an expression on his face that makes it clear that he’d rather not be dragged to football practice on a Saturday morning.
“Alright,” you reply, following them towards the front door. “By the way, your cactus is cute, Nagi.”
“Oh, Choki?” Nagi muses, perking up just a little at the mention of the succulent. “Yeah, I like having it around.”
Choki? He named it after scissors? You can’t help the amused giggle that leaves your lips—it seems your apathetic classmate is awfully cute!
✦ MANSHINE MADNESS -> Sometimes, things with Manshine get a little chaotic. (Very chaotic, rather). Most of it is thanks to the team’s master striker, Chris Prince. He keeps the energy high and exuberant; the quieter, calmer players create an amusing yet not out-of-place juxtaposition, since they’re stuck going along with his whims much of the time despite their reservations. In truth, you have a great time with them. When phase two of Blue Lock rolled around and you had the opportunity to become the primary manager of one of the teams while they were participating in the NEL, Manshine City was your first choice. Part of your decision stemmed from the fact that Reo and Nagi chose this team, for sure. But you were also interested in the team philosophy of stealing goals and dominating the field through physical prowess because it seemed like an helpful choice for monitoring training regimens.
Chris Prince baffles you the first time you meet him. He is loud, boisterous, self-absorbed, a little obnoxious… but is also so over-the-top that it’s genuinely funny to you. When he isn’t boasting about his body or skills, he is actually rather pleasant around you. Right off the bat, upon learning that you’re to be Manshine City’s NEL manager, he insists you be the team’s taskmaster. He can put together the training regimens to get everyone into peak physical condition, but you must help make sure everyone is consistently doing their training! He definitely encourages the “strict mother” side of you and tells you not to go easy on anyone under any circumstances. When he is trying to encourage all his mentees to push themselves to the limit, he uses your presence as leverage. “You wouldn’t want to look foolish and disappoint her, would you??” Funnily enough, it works. None of the boys want to perform sub-optimally around the team’s angel.
Chigiri tends to come to you whenever things with the Manshine team start feeling too much. He is no stranger to hard work and wouldn’t dream of taking it easy at this point, but Chris’s drills can be absolutely brutal. Plus Chris’s personality… is a lot. Sometimes Chigiri comes to you saying that he “better not start losing hair” because of all the stress this team puts him through. For once, he is not the ever-composed and poised prince of Blue Lock, but an exasperated, slightly grumpy boy. You try not to tease him too much, though you do occasionally let a “oh, I’ve never seen you so disheveled” or something similar slip through. Nevertheless, you promise to find some time soon to do a self-care session after practice.
The quiet Wanima twin, Junichi, is one of the Blue Lock boys that you didn’t have very much interaction with in the first phase of the program. However, now that he is away from his brother and part of the Manshine City crew, you have much more exposure to him. Despite his quirks, he is very funny and quite polite. He seems to seek your approval a lot, wanting your input on his progress just as much as Chris’s. It’s really cute, honestly.
Reo and Nagi are a little jealous about the idea of sharing you with the rest of the team. You were their Hakuho manager first, after all! This petty, silly jealousy has been an ongoing feeling since you started helping out at Blue Lock since your attention is pulled all over, but the feeling is even stronger with Manshine now. Reo is pretty blatant about trying to get your attention on him (though he is very good at playing it off as needing genuine critiques and strategy discussions); Nagi is more subtle, practically gluing himself to your side whenever there’s a rest break between drills. You really don’t think anything of it—they acted similarly at Hakuho too… though if you ponder their behavior more, you would notice that they only seemed to do it whenever the other members of the team started getting too friendly. However, if that thought never crosses your mind, you might remain oblivious! That said, they may or may not bicker a bit with Chigiri and Junichi if they feel that those two are getting too close…
✦ RIN THE DESTROYER -> One of the most intimidating players within Blue Lock is undoubtedly Itoshi Rin, half of which is a result of his icy glare and sharp words (and the other half being his insane skill). Most of the other Blue Lock boys dislike interacting with him, and one would think that he’d be a nightmare to deal with from a manager standpoint. But you signed up for this job and you’ve dealt with your fair share of difficult individuals over the years, so you’re not going to let him scare you off!
Except he really… doesn’t scare you off at all.
Through the recordings and live cameras within the facility, you’ve seen how Rin acts with the others. He isn’t particularly kind or respectful, speaking down on teammates and opponents alike if they fumble, or if they confront him about his attitude or dominating playstyle. He doesn’t hang out with anyone in his free time, instead throwing himself into his training as much as possible. Eating is done alone, and he doesn’t chat with his teammates in the shared rooms. But anytime he interacts with you… he is surprisingly tame. He never snaps at you, listens to your training recommendations (even if he doesn’t agree with all of them), never dismisses your ideas outright… Plus, after the two of you first met and he learned that your duties as manager include keeping things around the facility running smoothly, you noticed that he now puts all the balls away when he’s done training on the practice fields and is extra thorough when wiping down any exercise equipment…
Ah, maybe he is actually softer than he prefers to appear to others? At least to certain people, anyways.
So, gradually, you start to make attempts to interact with him more and more. You’re curious about him—his skill is insane, and you’re aware from the files on each player that he is the younger brother of the renowned Itoshi Sae. However, from what you’ve pieced together based on his reactions to anything related to Sae, Rin doesn’t seem to be on the friendliest terms with his brother. Very intriguing… Plus, he seems a bit lonely. Even with him intentionally keeping everyone at arm’s length, he doesn’t seem happy. Since you are a manager tasked with keeping the Blue Lock boys in good enough condition to practice, keeping their mood and morale up should also be included in this, right?
So, little by little, you start trying to extend a hand of friendship. It’s almost like trying to befriend a particularly distrustful cat! Whenever you two happen to cross paths, you attempt to strike up a conversation. At first, you barely receive anything in response; one or two word answers, with Rin continuing on his way after. But over time, your hard work starts to pay off. He actually takes the time to stop and listen to whatever you want to talk to him about, whether the topic is related to football or not. He starts responding more often, answering the questions you ask to get to know him.
“Why do you keep talking to me?” Rin asks one day. He thinks that you surely must have better things to do; he knows you’re busy, running across the facility and back trying to keep everything running smoothly.
“Hmm. Do I need to have a reason? I enjoy talking to you!”
Rin seems doubtful of your answer (he doesn’t really imagine most people would have fun chit-chatting with him of all people, nor is he keen on the idea of people finding enjoyment socializing with him) but doesn’t argue with you. After all, you can do what you want—he isn’t here to boss you around or anything. He calls you strange and continues on his way, but it’s clear even to you that there isn’t any bite behind the word.
One perhaps surprising result of your budding friendship with Rin is that you now have a protector lurking in your peripherals. Generally, most of the boys in Blue Lock are respectful of you and your efforts. However, there are a few (such as Baro Shohei or Shidou Ryusei) that can be quite rude or dismissive—whether intentional or unintentional, they have a sharp tongue and a brusque way of speaking. Similarly, when the NEL kicks off, some of the guest players may be quite dismissive of you as well. Although you have no problem putting your foot down when needed, amusingly, Rin tends to step in when these situations arise, stepping between you and the offending party, telling them “quit cutting her off, it’s ridiculous to have such an attitude.” Of course, this doesn’t always go down so well, so there’s always a chance that you have to step in and diffuse a potentially explosive fight.
Honestly, though, you think it’s pretty sweet! What is also very endearing is that he now invites you to watch his practices and settles down near you whenever he takes a break, much like a cat who wants to be in the same room as you even if they don’t come right up to snuggle or receive pats. It is an unexpected bond, but you hope to spend more time with him and deepen this relationship over time. Rin doesn’t admit it, but he hopes that this easy dynamic continues outside of Blue Lock as well.
✦ ADDITIONAL HEADCANONS ->
When you first started manager duties at Hakuho High, it was… hectic. Reo cobbled together the team despite only recently developing an interest in football, recruited you even though you didn’t really have any prior experience managing a school sports team, and for a while it didn’t seem like anyone knew how to navigate the situation. But you’re a quick learner! It was a lot of work, but now that you’re helping out at Blue Lock, you look back fondly on those days.
Outside of team practice at Hakuho, you end up doing studying sessions with Reo and Nagi frequently whenever exams are coming up. Really, it’s more you and Reo reviewing notes and Nagi dozing off or trying to play his game, but you two try to keep him focused.
It’s not every night, since training for the Blue Lock boys can be quite hectic, but you really enjoy the evenings where you and Chigiri can have little self-care nights. Every once in a while, Kurona joins in… though it seems he’s more interested in braiding your and Chigiri’s hair than anything else. Still, the conversations between the three of you are nice!
Unlike the Blue Lock boys who are required to stay in the facility at all times, you are allowed to leave when needed. Nagi always asks if you could go out and get snacks (you always have to tell him no).
From the start, Kaiser is more mild in front of you than the other Blue Lock boys. Not that he could really be considered nice either—he’s a bit icy and distant, but at least he isn’t antagonistic like he is with the others. It’s because you’re not an “opponent” to him, so he doesn’t get anything out of being mocking or harsh. He wouldn’t admit it to anyone, but he does find some amount of comfort in your presence. You offer a patience and compassion that he doesn’t often have directed towards him.
Otoya thinks it is absolutely fantastic that there is a gorgeous beauty amongst their ranks. Oh, he is singing your praises, complimenting you, flirting with you. He definitely exasperates you at first, but he is actually quite a pleasant guy under the playboy attitude! On the very rare occasion that you don’t have much on your plate, he is quick to offer to spend time with you to hang out.

Hehe, hello friend! (˶ˆᗜˆ˵) I saw your curiosity in potentially getting some Black Butler and Demon Slayer mini-YLIFs/moodboards, so… Here we go! 🎁 + Black Butler.
[ Picrew Link ]
(The moodboard is not very aesthetic this time around, but it gets the information across!)
— Background: Daughter of a noble family. (Sorry, you’re not escaping the noble role in this fandom either, lol. It just fits so well in these historical fantasy settings! I did consider a commoner route for a very long time, though). Your family is not quite as renowned as the Midfords or the Phantomhives (well, when the Phantomhives were in their prime, anyway), but still rather wealthy and well-incorporated into the echelons of the elite in England.
But, oh, how curious… It seems there is some supernatural blood running in your veins—somewhere in your ancestry is an angel. The potency is diluted to the point where you are mostly just a normal human, minus some intriguing supernatural abilities that are definitely out of the scope of the average person. Important to note: you and your parents are unaware that there is an angel in your lineage. Perhaps your grandparents knew something, but they never mentioned anything. However, your grandmother’s journals might contain some curious insights.
— Affiliation: Ciel Phantomhive and Sebastian. Your parents and his were actually loosely acquainted in the past! Your family has long been affiliated with the arts for generations, therefore they have ties to the larger art scene in London. They manage music halls and art galleries, invest in new artistic technologies such as photography, and are often patrons of those who try to establish their own art studios. With your parents being musicians, they frequent the music halls and perform there, and Vincent Phantomhive would invite them to play at the parties he hosted. Of course, with Vincent’s and Rachel’s passing in that unfortunate incident while Ciel was young, you did not really have the chance to meet any of the Phantomhives… until one day, when a young boy and his butler dressed in all black show up to your family’s estate to make some inquiries related to a case they’re working on.
— Abilities: Abilities that are tied to your angelic ancestry include your ability to sense what animals are feeling (allowing you a much easier time communicating and understanding them, even without words) and minor healing abilities (specifically, you can bless water or other medications to encourage physical healing and emotional calmness). However, the healing abilities are something that you must actually practice in order to properly harness effectively.
— Lover: Snake. The two of you have a brief, fleeting, chance encounter when Noah’s Ark Circus set up their show near London. Initially, you were not planning to attend one of the Circus’s shows. But some of your friends absolutely insisted you come along to at least one of their performances, and it was difficult to turn them down so many times, so here you are. Honestly, the show is pretty entertaining as a whole, and everyone seems to be having a good time. There’s an intermission halfway through the show, so you step out of the main tent to stretch your legs and get some fresh air. You end up wandering a bit, and nearly trip over a snake! “Oh! I’m sorry, little one,” you say, crouching down to make sure it’s okay. Perhaps surprisingly, the little snake does not slither off into the grass right away, peering at you almost curiously.
“It’s quite alright, miss! Thank you for not squishing me, says Emily,” a young man utters just behind you, mimicking a chipper lady’s voice before dropping into his normal register. You whirl around, startled. But you recognize him from the show, the snake charmer—now that you’re much closer to him, you can see the unique amber of his eyes and the scales dusted across his skin. The little snake slithers over to him and he picks it up, and offers you a nod before continuing on his way. “Farewell, miss! Do head back to the main tent, the show is starting up again soon! says Goethe.”
And that is how you two met! For a long time, that was your only meeting, too, but you eventually meet him again once you start helping out Ciel and Sebastian, since Snake joins their little crew.
— Crushes on you: Edgar Redmond. He adores your beautiful, angelic looks and personality! Best of all, you’re a very sincere person who genuinely cares about others. That type of person can be hard to come by amongst the upper class families in England, since greed and corruption enjoy rearing their heads.
— Friends: Ciel and his staff (minus Sebsatian, who seems vaguely wary of you for some reason… his smiles are sharper and his words more guarded, since he can sense that your being is more holy than the average person). Elizabeth and Edward Midford. Edgar Redmond, Herman Greenhill. Snake’s snakes are perhaps your best friends, though!
— Family figure: Tanaka. Of course, Tanaka is a caring, wise grandfather figure to you. You may be a more recent addition to Ciel’s social circle, but he takes care of you along with everyone else his young master associates with. You are always happy to sit down with a cup of tea with him!
— Sibling figure: Edward Midford. He very much treats you like another younger sister! Stern and scolding one moment, surprisingly doting older brother the next. Edward is quick to step in to defend you or protect you whenever necessary, especially since you aren’t a fighter like Elizabeth. Funnily enough, you could almost look like another Midford sibling.

PARTY ASK GAME⋆✴︎˚。⋆ 🎂 ༘⋆
Thank you very much for responding to my prayer, my dear! (o_ _)o I was absolutely delighted to see this YLIF in my ask box, and immediately started reading manga after this, because it was SO GOOD!!! ♡〜٩( ˃́▿˂̀ )۶〜♡
What do you mean, dear? You moodboard is GORGEOUS, and I ADORE the picrew a lot! I think it conveys my vibes perfectly! ദ്ദി(。•̀ ᗜ<)
Daughter of a noble family.
It seems like I'm a doomed noble girl in all my YLIFs here, LMAO. I'm not complaining~ And, omg, an angel ancestry! How fun! I almost forgot that there are angels in Black Butler too (only in anime version though, from what I know so far)! This is such a good idea! Honestly, I adore BB historical settings a lot, and I love how you included the IRL facts about my family here! It sounds so realistic and interesting! Oh, hanging out with Ciel's chaotic crew would be so much fun indeed!
Even angelic abilities! (*゚ロ゚) I don't know much about BB power/abilities system yet, but it sounds absolutely amazing! You always come up with the best ideas, dear!
SNAKE!!! I have a big and obvious crush on Snake. I was so happy to see him here. The first meeting is so cute. I can't wait to see more of him in the main story. ૮꒰/ฅ//ฅ//꒱ა
I don't remember much about Redmond, but he looks intriguing! I adore Edward and Tanaka a lot, AHHH!!! Such good familial figures! And Snake's snakes would be wonderful best friends, indeed!
Thank you again for this wonderful YLIF, dear! I don't know how far I will come with Black Butler, but I'm excited to keep reading and watching it! ٩(^ᗜ^ )و ´-
After giving it some thought, I decided to come up with Bungo Stray Dogs for you. I still think that making something for Haikyuu and Free would be fun. But since you are familiar with both fandoms, I chose BSD for this one. This story reminds me of some of your favorite fandoms like Durarara and Black Butler! Urban fantasy, a bit on the darker side (yet all characters are still alive), with a pinch of supernatural abilities and detective. There are anime, manga, and novels. Anime follows manga, and it's very beautiful when it comes to both OSTs and animation. Fandom is active, so you will find many people to arrange some exchanges with! I can't say that you will find something very new in BSD, but this story deserves to be checked out eventually!
꒰🎁 + bungo stray dogs꒱
♡ Affiliation: Armed Detective Agency. I noticed that you tend to lean towards "good" organizations (example: jujutsu sorcerers (JJK) or heroes (MHA)) a bit more, so ADA fits your preferences perfectly. It's a very fun and chaotic group that investigates various cases that occur in Yokohama. They are on a more neutral side than Port Mafia (criminal group) or Hunting Dogs (military police), but I considered them too, especially Hunting Dogs. Most of them (including yourself) are ability users, but there also are regular people who do paperwork. I think you led an ordinary life, without even realizing your abilities. As a person who always needs a part-time job, you decided that working at ADA (even if it's something like paperwork) sounds very fun! Once you noticed that they recruit workers, you immediately went for an interview. After this you start actively prying into investigations, and reveal your abilities!
♡ Your friends are, of course, the whole Agency! Especially well you get along with Ranpo, Dazai, and Yosano. They adore you to bits, even if Kunikida is always annoyed by your antics with Dazai. Kyoka and Atsushi see you as an older sister figure, even if you don't quite understand what makes them feel this way. Akiko Yosano is your older sister figure. Your teasing doesn't bother her, and she appreciates your strong personality. The two of you frequently go shopping when you have the mood for this (and take someone to carry your bags).
♡ Edogawa Ranpo is your closest friend. Despite being a genius detective, Ranpo tends to act rather childish. He loves sweets, doesn't know how to take the train, and listens only to Fukuzawa. The two of you have a lot in common, so you quickly warmed up to each other. Even if at first there were some bickering and banter (there still are tho), because Ranpo is sassy and self-confident, and so you are. However, you two quickly decide to roast someone else instead of each other. Be it eating sweets at the agency or helping Ranpo with investigations, both of you have a lot of fun together.
♡ Fukuzawa Yukichi is your father figure, just like for the whole Agency. The two of you bond over your love for cats, because this stoic man absolutely adores your furry friends (and many other cute things). The fact that you are so small and adorable (at least, in his eyes), makes his huge fatherly love for you grow even stronger. You also get along with Ranpo, who is like a son to him, so consider yourself his daughter, and Ranpo your brother. He deeply cares about you and is ready to protect you with his life.
♡ Now some rambles about your match. Personally, I think that Dazai Osamu would be a good match for you, because he's very similar to your other crushes (Aventurine, Byakuran, Kaiser). He appears silly, flirty, teasing, with a strong personality, but also with deep darkness within. Unfortunately, Osamu has a suicidal tendency and often tries to end his life. I'm not sure if you actually enjoy this part of him, but hear me out. I think that Dazai would find your strong and positive mindset extremely admirable. Being with you would actually fix him because you unintentionally learn him how to enjoy life. You frequently have a good time together teasing Kunikida, goofing around, and working together. Initially, Osamu would flirt with you (and get rejected most of the time). It doesn't hurt his feelings at all, only makes him more interested in you. Slowly but surely, he becomes your best friend in the agency, and later on develops feelings for you. Even though Osamu accepts his feelings and has no intention to deny that he's in love with you, he also thinks that he doesn't deserve you. He literally is the worst person. To get together he needs a lot of validation and determination from you. If you are interested in him this way, then you two have a chance to become a good couple with a huge "redemption" trope. If you see him more as a friend, then Osamu will keep pining after you from afar (which is the most expected outcome of your relationship).
♡ For now, I think that my main match/runner-up for you is Nakahara Chuuya, because he reminds me of other types of your crushes (Shizuo, Bakugo). I think that you actually have the two types: someone who is as teasing as you are, and someone very teasable. Chuuya is the second one (and he has a bike). Dazai and he are both enemies and partners, so it's ironic that both of them end up fighting over you. At first, the two of you have a kind of love-hate relationship, because you would tease Chuuya shamelessly, enjoying his reactions. And even if Chuuya does react to your teasing in a way you enjoy, it doesn't actually offend him. Unfortunately, Chuuya is a member of the Port Mafia, so the two of you don't have much opportunity for interaction. But as soon as you get to know each other better (for example, work together on protecting the city, because the Agency and the Port Mafia are two sides of the same coin), you actually get along very well. When Dazai is not around, Chuuya is pretty chill, gentlemanly, and fun to hang out with.
♡ Bonus! Your (absolutely not secret) admirer is Nikolai Gogol! It's a very interesting and complicated person. He's a clown who craves freedom to the point that he kills people to run away from his own mind, wishing to soar as freely as birds do. Another one who finds your free-spirited and positive nature extremely admirable. Unlike Dazai who pines after you from afar, and Chuuya who courts you as a gentleman, Nikolai is, well, just a huge simp. He appears out of nowhere to chat with you, or even tries to steal you away! He would gush over you to everyone from his victims to Fyodor who seriously thinks about declaring himself a voluntary prisoner and going to Meursault only to never hear this chatterbox again.
Have a wonderful day, my dear, and feel free to send more if you are interested! ଘ(੭ˊ꒳ˋ)੭♡
YAY I'm very glad you enjoyed what I came up with ♡ As for the angel parts specifically, I am curious if they'll end up working anything in for that in the manga. I mean demons exist, so angels should too, right...? ( °ヮ° ) In any case, even if they don't officially exist in the manga, I'm rolling with it because I think it could be worked in very well with the setting! The powers/abilities in this series is curious since there is a blend of realism with both subtle and bold supernatural elements, and a lot of our main cast aren't 100% average humans, hehe. I figured it'd be fun to give you some supernatural abilities as well!
── .✦
Oho, Bungou Stray Dogs! I actually watched the first season waaaay back when it first came out, but I never continued with the series (๑•᎑•๑) It does grab my attention every once in a while and I consider continuing on, though. I enjoyed what I watched, although I don't remember if I had any particular favorites from back then—plus, many more characters were introduced in later seasons that I haven't met yet!
Hehe, Chuuya does seem really cute and teasable... I don't think I could stop myself from poking fun at him here and there ( ˶ˆ꒳ˆ˵ ) Seeing someone's reactions to my teasing or blunt statements is quite entertaining! But he seems like he'd be a sweet partner, too. Dazai also seems very fun to be around, but I would be a little exasperated at his attempts to off himself. I do absolutely see the potential vision, though! I can see us getting along even if we have some different ideologies. Nikolai definitely seems interesting—I love his design! I think he would be a very fascinating person to observe and interact with.
The little ADA family and friend group! They are a colorful bunch for sure, and I think they would be fun to work/spend time with!
AH hehe, thank you for this!! (ㅅ´ ˘ `) Perhaps one day I'll continue on with BSD, and I think I'll keep a closer eye on the characters you featured here for me.
I was inspired by someone else's ask and I realized we've talked about our TWST self-inserts interacting, but never our Blue Lock self-inserts! I've been missing Blue Lock lately, hehe. For the purpose of these musings, I'll go with Hakuho High manager + the backstory you came up with for my YLIF (ReAl manager)!
→ Since you would be a manager for the Blue Lock crew from the start and I wouldn't get introduced until the NEL, perhaps you'd end up showing me the ropes! Giving a tour of the facility, introducing me to some of the Blue Lock boys, etc. Ah, I might still get lost in the facility for the first few weeks, though.
→ slow to open up x immediately friendly (but we would have quite a few shared hobbies to bond over, thankfully!)
→ There is also a learning opportunity from me to you, considering I had the opportunity to manage a professional and well-known team. The insights could be very helpful if you continue on with managerial duties outside of Blue Lock!
→ Given the nature of being assistants/managers, we would have close contact with Ego and Anri. Although I think I could get along with Ego for the most part, I don't agree with all of his ideas and would critique them openly. I can imagine you and Anri trying to play peacemaker if any actual arguments arise. Or perhaps, if it is too common an occurrence, you both sigh and leave us to bicker, lol.
→ "You are too nice to these boys. (¬_¬)" x "I'm just treating them normally? ( °ヮ° )" AKA tough love manager x compassionate manager.
→ However, also: teasing managers x2! Your teasing is a bit softer while mine is a bit sharper, but I am certain each and every player ends up getting teased by at least one of us at some point. Poor them, hehe.
→ If Raven happened to pull a prank on anyone (the players, the coaches, Ego, etc)... you won't say anything, right? Maybe you'll have to be sworn to secrecy ( ˶ˆ꒳ˆ˵ )
→ If I see any of the boys give you a little too much attitude... (。•̀ ⤙ •́ 。ꐦ) I'll deal with them, LOL. Although I say that, I think it would be rare. Most of the boys (at least the OG Blue Lockers) would be like puppies to you.
→ We would spend many late nights pondering and creating effective training regimens, discussing what would be the ideal balance between work vs rest.
→ While watching games, you are the eager, energetic cheerleader ₍₍⚞(˶>ᗜ<˶)⚟⁾⁾ BUT I am the silent, expressionless spectator ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀ - ˉ͈́ ) It's a funny contrast.

BIRTHDAY ASK GAME⋆✴︎˚。⋆ 🎂 ༘⋆
RAVEEEN!!! I'm so happy and excited whenever I see you in my ask box!!! ₍₍⚞(˶>ᗜ<˶)⚟⁾⁾ Thank you so so much for such cute headcanons. I really love our self-inserts' dynamic! Let's jump to my reactions + additional headcanons!
Ah, I might still get lost in the facility for the first few weeks, though.
Oh, with how everything inside Blue Lock looks the same, I guess you would not be the only person with such a problem. Most likely, I also end up getting lost at first. (ᵕ—ᴗ—) I will make sure to find you!
The insights could be very helpful if you continue on with managerial duties outside of Blue Lock!
"helps with adjusting to Blue Lock" x "helps with adjusting to the world outside Blue Lock" kind of dynamic, hehe. After all this time spent in Blue Lock, I guess I would naturally start thinking about a career in the professional team, so it would be very helpful!
I think I could get along with Ego for the most part
LMAO, the way I end up with "ego x anri 2.0" or "Ego's assistant" x "Anri's assistant" kind of dynamic with all my mutuals so far is so funny. Well, I guess that you two enjoy bickering, and it frequently bears fruit (new ideas and strategies), so Anri and I can just leave you and Ego debating.
"You are too nice to these boys. (¬_¬)" x "I'm just treating them normally? ( °ヮ° )"
HELP, that's so real!!! (๑˃́ꇴ˂̀๑)
you won't say anything, right?
I tend to not pranking people myself, since I end up feeling bad for them most of the time... but it doesn't mean that I won't join you. (˵ ¬ᴗ¬˵)
Most of the boys (at least the OG Blue Lockers) would be like puppies to you.
Aww, that's so cute! ( ˘͈ ᵕ ˘͈ )ꕤ.˖
♡ Unlike our TWST exchanges, our BLLK one is way less detailed, so we don't have characters/group of characters we both get along, but I actually think that I eventually end up getting along with Ness (given our shared interests) and getting dragged into your relationship development with Kaiser and into hangouts with all of you, hehe.
♡ Me observing your interactions with your admirers: "hm, there is something between them (╭ರ_•́)", but also me with my own admirers: "we are just friends? ( °ヮ° )". Sorry, I'm so dumb; I bet I will get my own portion of teasing from you. (ᵕ—ᴗ—)
♡ It would be pretty sad when the NEL is over, since it means that you come back to ReAl, while I stay in Blue Lock. But we definitely will meet again during the World Cup! It seems like Sae joins Blue Lock, while you support Spain and get Bunny as another player (looking forward to seeing more of him and ReAl to make your manager headcanons more detailed).
♡ makes a mess (you) x cleans a mess (me)
♡ "I'm gonna do evil!" (you) x "don't forget your knife, dear" (me)
♡ "tough love manager" (you) x "compassionate manager" (me), but also "strict mother manager" (me) x "nonchalant father manager" (you)
Have a wonderful day, my dear, and feel free to send more if you are interested! ଘ(੭ˊ꒳ˋ)੭♡
AH (˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶) .ᐟ.ᐟ These are so fun! The moodboard you put together is very cute, too.
— It really is kind of a shame we don't have more overlap in terms of friend groups for our self-inserts! Though I agree, especially if you start hanging out with Ness, you'd get to see whatever mess is going down between me and Kaiser, LOL. You and Ness would probably be whispering to each other: "You see it too, right...?" It's like a live drama for you two.
— Alas... I would definitely tease you if you were oblivious to all your admirers. "They're practically falling over themselves trying to get your attention! Friend, do you need your eyes checked? (˶˃𐃷˂˶)"
— Oho! I can pull you into some pranks and mischief, huh? ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧ Don't worry, I won't do anything too mean to anyone.
— Strict mother x nonchalant father manager is so TRUE, and honestly hilarious. Perhaps it's beneficial to have the boys exposed to both styles, LOL.
🥳 Happy birthday! 🥳 While you may usually dread it, I'm hoping you have a pleasant (perhaps even delightful) day when it rolls around! In any case, I shall be celebrating a hip mutual with whom I have had the pleasure of doing a couple of very fun exchanges, and hopefully more in the future! Also: the new blog theme is very cute, very refreshing; it's like an ube sorbet.

Thank you for my aesthetic AAAAAA it's so accurate and describes me perfectly??? I'm in love with the sunset picture in the moodboard omg

[ BONUS! YOUR FLAVOUR OF LOVE ARCHETYPE ]
Here's a lil extra something for 🥳 ! I'm not sure if you noticed, but I've been assigning a flavour of love (personality typing system by @.2-lines-and-a-circle) to the mutuals who sent in the 🎧 prompt for the retro ask game. After going through my doc enough times, I realized that a certain flavour fit you really well, and was really excited to tell you about it. I even considered sending you an ask out of nowhere ahsjdksjk Now I finally have the chance to do it here! Why am I so excited? It's because we're the same flavour~~
You are a mint chocolate!

Don’t want any regrets in life
In a team, they may not be the leader or the mastermind behind every plan, but they’re someone who can’t be replaced. Something like an anchor for the team.
Good at relaxing once their work is done
Compliment people when they want something (is this true for you?)
Surprisingly clingy and possessive as if their lover recharges them
Loves teasing

Coming from a decently well-off family living near the edge of Tokyo in a nice suburb, you are the eldest child of one Quirkless parent who works in technology, and one parent with a healing Quirk who works at a hospital. Perfectionism and high standards for oneself tend to come from within the home—your childhood is one of fairly high expectations, but there are also plenty of opportunities for you to explore your interests and find your own path. While your parents are not overly strict or stern, they do want to make sure you set yourself up for success, so they always encourage you to participate in clubs and extracurriculars on top of pushing for good grades. They don’t really mind what direction you end up going when it comes to your studies and career, so long as you are happy and you can eventually support yourself as an independent individual.
Needless to say, your parents (and your teachers!) are happy when you turn out to be quite intelligent and curious. Things come to you easily, and if something happens to stump you, you’re determined to pick the topic apart until it makes sense to you. From a young age, more often than not, your free time is spent tucked away in the corner or a classroom or in your bedroom as you focus on books, art, and little projects. And, once your Quirk develops, you spend a lot of time creating little concoctions as you try to figure out how to use your new ability. These are simply the activities that you tend to find most enjoyable! But… admittedly, they tend to keep you somewhat distanced from your peers. A portion of them just don’t find these hobbies to be the most engaging, especially with friends—they’d rather be outdoors, playing games. Whereas from your perspective, a lot of your peers just can’t seem to keep up with your brain; most conversations you try to have about your interests fall flat.
It’s not without trying, either. You make attempts to bond with your classmates, but you only seem to establish superficial friendships that don’t extend beyond classroom walls. You go to a good school and there are plenty of other studious students that have high expectations placed on their shoulders, but those types are prone to jealousy if you consistently score better on exams. Plus, it doesn’t help that you’re on the introverted side. Making friends is a slow process for you no matter what, and that doesn’t often play out very well with how quickly children change over the span of even a couple years.
Regardless, that gnawing sense of loneliness eases as you get older, as you become more accustomed to your own company. It isn’t something you hold against your peers. You throw yourself into your interests, and you try to pick a direction for your future career. Even though you feel like you’re on the outside of common society more often than not, you still have a desire to help others—it feels like a waste not to do so, when you think of your Quirk.
If you use your parents as inspiration, engineering seems to be a good direction for yourself. It has so many branches you could potentially follow, and it plays well with your own interests and your Quirk. With that decision made, when your third year of middle school rolls around, you turn your sights to U.A. High. Of course, you gravitate towards your best options, and U.A. is prestigious and well-known for their rigorous academics and Hero Course. But their biggest draw, for you, is their Support Course. You don’t need to be in the spotlight as a pro hero, but you like the idea of creating helpful items for heroes to make their jobs safer and more efficient, for everyone involved.
— AFFILIATIONS
✦ U.A. High (Support Course)
— ABILITIES / EQUIPMENT
✦ Quirk -> Remedy Maker
Emitter type. Your Quirk allows you to imbue most materials that you touch with various healing properties. Similar to the way many medications come in a liquid or cream form, your ability works best on those types of materials. Normal water can effectively become a healing potion with your Quirk, or an everyday lotion can soothe the harshest of sunburns within moments. That said, you can also imbue solid objects like bandages with properties that promote cell regeneration and wound closure, for example. The caveat is—just like Momo and her Quirk—you need to understand the molecular and anatomic structure of the materials you are working with. Not all materials are going to be viable options for your Quirk, given that some substances are very unstable. When it comes to the types of healing properties you can bestow upon things, your imagination and understanding of bodily processes is the limit! Various types of pain relief, suppressing nausea or vomiting, healing lacerations vs burns.
It’s a good thing you’re studious and enjoy learning about a variety of topics!
Training your Quirk allows you to…
Work with a wider range of base materials and create more stable products.
Increase the effectiveness and variety of healing properties.
Side effects from over-use of your Quirk include headaches, nausea, and fatigue.
✦ Specialized equipment -> You tend to carry a large leather bag that acts as a first aid kit, filled with various items—some of which you have already imbued with basic/general healing properties, and some plain items that you can use in the moment in case you need to treat a specific ailment (nausea, burns, pain relief, etc.).
Given your personality, you would likely opt for a more practical outfit for work. You don’t need anything flashy, nor anything that might hinder you from doing your job—something easy to move around in, comfortable, and ideally something you don’t mind getting messy if something goes wrong with one of your concoctions or inventions.
As you are not a hero, you do not have a hero name. However, people seem to quite enjoy calling you by the pseudonym Anodyne.
YOUR MATCH IS…
✧ TOGATA MIRIO
✦ REASONING ->
The classic extravert x introvert dynamic, the golden retriever x black cat dynamic.
Both of you enjoy being in leadership positions, finding fulfillment in helping others and teaching them. Your shared stance on leadership is geared towards mutual benefit of the leader and the follower, rather than a grab at control. Since you two are like-minded in this regard, your relationship would feel very balanced.
Mirio often encourages the more active, outdoorsy side of you; on the other hand, you help him enjoy settling in at home for a quiet, relaxing evening. You two help each other break out of your usual routines, which keeps things interesting both individually and as a couple. There is no shortage of things for you two to do when spending time together!
No matter what your goals are, Mirio is your biggest supporter. You are generally confident in your abilities and follow your principles closely, but even the most steadfast of people would do well with a bit of encouragement. It is one less thing for you to worry about, knowing that your partner is on your side and cheering you on.
You two have a shared interest in bettering yourselves, however that might look. Improving skills, focusing on accountability, becoming more well-rounded, trying to minimize flaws, always putting the best foot forward in studies and work, etc. These shared values create a strong foundation for your relationship.
Although you have difficulty with vulnerability, Mirio makes it a little bit easier. He is upfront and open, and isn’t the type to just let you hide away forever. He allows you plenty of time and space to open up on your own terms, but he is comfortable gently prodding you if necessary.
TL;DR: balance is the key word for many aspects of your relationship!
— FIRST MEETING -> Mirio has been in your peripherals not long after you started attending U.A. While you two aren’t in the same class, the hero course students and support course students still intermingle quite frequently. It’s hard not to notice him, bright and boisterous and high-achieving. You’re drawn towards the exemplary, whether it’s out of pure admiration or a desire to compete against it. Mirio may seem like a class clown, and he doesn’t always have the best control of his Quirk, but it’s obvious that he puts a lot of effort into honing his skills—his classmates and teachers often speak highly of him. It doesn’t matter that his Quirk is better suited for combat and yours for support; you want to become as proficient in your area as possible. Quietly, you start to use Mirio as a sort of goal post, trying to pace your progress against his.
The first time you two share a conversation is halfway through your first year. The support course students sometimes get the chance to work with hero course students in order to practice designing custom items and equipment. Everyone has their niche, given their own preferences in projects and Quirks. Mirio typically works with someone else who is trying to develop items that function even with changes in matter (of course, as this would make the most sense for Mirio’s Quirk). One day, Mirio ended up approaching you while you were busy working on replenishing the items in your first aid kit. Apparently, he had asked his usual support course contact if there had been anyone who works on effective ingestible healing items, since bandages tend to fall off unless specially designed and there isn’t always quick access to someone with a healing Quirk—and that classmate pointed him to you!
Mirio’s first impressions of you are that you’re very intelligent and thoughtful. He is pretty perceptive and intuitive, so he is quick to pick up on the way that you ponder your words before speaking (and notices how you perk up when you’re talking about something that you find particularly fascinating).
— BONDING -> Mirio rarely has difficulty making friends; if he has issues, it’s typically because the person he is interacting with has zero interest in being friendly. Considering his close friendship with Tamaki, it is obvious that Mirio is not the type that is bothered by introverts who tend to keep to themselves and need alone time to function. As bright as he is, he is very mindful of how much energy he is bringing to others… and some introverts find that type of energy to be comforting rather than unbearable. You seem like you would be that type of introvert, given the way that you desire close relationships with others despite enjoying your alone time. And, even if you can be a little rough around the edges, Mirio doesn’t take it personally. What are a few bluntly-phrased statements when you have a good heart with a desire to help others?
A lot of your bonding time is spent after classes, studying. If not studying, then you’re watching the Big Three as they train—and you also get the chance to see how well some of your creations work. Whenever you’re busy in the workshops, tweaking your latest project, Mirio tends to come in and check on you if you’ve been busy for a while. If you’re not quite ready to call it quits, he enjoys settling down nearby and watching you work. He finds your focused expression to be quite cute!
— PINING AND CONFESSION -> There are no issues with the fact that you aren’t likely to develop feelings without prior prompting, nor with the fact that you are unlikely to confess any budding affection for someone; Mirio is perfectly comfortable exploring and expressing his feelings! He doesn’t fall for you immediately; you met halfway through your first year, but his romantic interest in you doesn’t begin developing until a year into your friendship. Once his feelings start to shift towards the romantic, he is quick to notice the butterflies in his stomach when you smile and laugh at his jokes, the way he falls asleep with thoughts of you in his mind, the way he wants to seek out a little more of your precious time. He adores your compassion, the way that you’re so dedicated to making life better for other people, the way that you throw yourself into your passions, how cute your smile is.
After realizing his feelings, Mirio keeps them to himself for a while. It’s a bit funny, though—his crush on you is pretty obvious. He’s still the same bright, friendly Mirio, but his cheeks are quick to turn pink anytime you compliment him, or when you’re in his personal bubble putting some sort of salve on an injury he got during training. However, since he doesn’t say anything, it may take you a bit to realize the little shifts in his behavior.
It’s a couple weeks into your third year when Mirio confesses. The two of you have been friends for a while now, and you’ve gradually grown closer over the years. Your disposition seems just a little bit softer and sweeter around him, in a way that makes him question if you might feel something more than platonic affection. While he isn’t sure that you return his feelings, he’s willing to take the chance—and if you don’t feel the same way, that’s just fine! He can take rejection gracefully, and he’ll hope that you two can remain friends. The opportunity arises one late afternoon when he comes by the Support Course’s workshops to find you. It’s quiet, except for your tinkering; you’re the only one putting extra time into your projects right now.
“Busy as ever, huh?” he uses as a greeting as he settles down across your table.
“Hello,” you answer pleasantly, though your gaze is focused as you diligently measure a few pieces of your project. “Yeah, I’m almost done for the night though.”
Mirio hums in acknowledgement and the room settles into a comfortable quiet as you jot down a few notes on your plans. He can tell it’s still a bit of a rough draft, something you’re still making adjustments to. When it seems that you’re finishing up, packing away your notebook and papers, he decides to speak up. His voice is a little bashful, almost hesitant, which is unlike him… but endearing.
“I wanted to let you know—and it’s okay if you don’t feel the same way—but I wanted to let you know that I really like you! A lot! And I think I’d really like to go out with you, if you were also interested…?”
The confession surprises you, so you blink and stare at him for a long moment as you try to figure out how to respond. It’s not as if you never had any inkling of his feelings, but you never really entertained the idea of a relationship for long. But now, as you’re presented with his affection for you and the implications of it, it’s something that you’re considering.
While you’re weighing your response, Poor Mirio is sweating bullets, the nervousness clear on his face. And then—when you tentatively accept his confession—his expression melts into one of relief and joy.
— DATES -> Mirio is a big fan of nature walks—he enjoys being able to take a leisurely stroll while feeling the warm sun on his skin and a cool breeze through his hair. In a similar vein, he loves going on picnics with you! He adores anything you cook or bake for the outing. He doesn’t seem to be much of a cook himself, but could certainly follow a recipe, so he is happy to help prepare items for the picnic as well! Or, at the very least, he can go out and procure the beverages. These types of dates are a good balance of adventurous and peaceful, which means that they tend to be what you two gravitate towards more often than not. Camping and stargazing aren’t quite as common occurrences since they require a bit more planning and a trek out of the city, but they are fantastic options too, in Mirio’s opinion.
That said, upbeat dates that include attending festivals or visiting amusement parks are right up his alley as well, and he loves playing the silly fair games with you and trying out all the food stalls.
— LOVE LANGUAGES -> Mirio is a very affectionate person as a whole, but his go-to love languages are words of affirmation and physical touch. They are very direct ways of showing affection, which just suits his personality and preferences; you will not have the chance to doubt that he is very much in love with you. Physical touch is largely taken at your pace, though he especially loves being able to cuddle at the end of the day while you’re relaxing and watching a show together. His compliments are sweet and thoughtful (sometimes a bit goofy, which gets a laugh out of you), and he often sings praises of your achievements or things that you’ve made. Speaking of which, he is the best type of person to cook for since he is always enthusiastic and grateful, and insists on doing the dishes for you in return. He also loves whenever you gift him art that you’ve made, and makes sure that he has it displayed.
Of course, he capitalizes on quality time whenever possible. It can be hard at times, since your respective schedules can be rather busy—but it is pretty cute how he lights up whenever he sees you after a while apart.
✦ OTHER CONSIDERATIONS ->
— AIZAWA SHOTA -> (Applicable if given a different backstory, where you’re also a beloved teacher at U.A.) You would have a “kindred spirits” type of dynamic with Aizawa. Your values are similar, given that each of you gravitate towards guiding and leading others—hence why being a teacher for future generations of heroes just makes sense for both of you. There are quite a few similarities between your personalities, but enough differences to keep things interesting. While both of you thrive with a bit of alone time (AKA some peace and quiet from rambunctious friends and students), you are generally friendlier and easier to get along with, even with your occasional sharper edges! At least you actually try to smile at others. Time spent with Aizawa would be a comforting quiet, a healing respite from chaos.
— TAKAMI KEIGO (HAWKS) -> (Applicable if you have already graduated from U.A. and are working at a company developing support items.) It may take a while for you two to properly warm up to each other, with how guarded he is. But similar to Mirio, you would have a very balanced dynamic with him. Beyond his chipper exterior, Keigo can be rather serious. Still, he enjoys friendly banter and flirting. Intellectually, you two are a good match. He may not be the scholarly type that always has his nose buried in a book, but he is very perceptive and quick to synthesize information. He desires a calmer, more relaxing life, and he very well might achieve that with you by his side. You can help him slow down and enjoy the little things in life, and he might actually pick up reading as a hobby. He would be a fantastic vacation partner, though, especially since he is good at balancing plans and spontaneous outings.
✧ RELATIONSHIP WITH…
— AMAJIKI TAMAKI -> You meet Tamaki through frequent interactions with Mirio. Given how shy Tamaki is, it takes a little while for you two to become friends. Nevertheless, it helps that you’re kind, genuinely interested in learning about others, and able to strike up and hold conversations! If he’s being honest, he really enjoys being around another introvert. Mirio and Nejire are great, he adores them—but they are both very social extraverts who thrive in the spotlight. It’s nice having you around, someone who needs a certain amount of solitude to mentally recharge and enjoys hobbies that can be done by oneself. You understand his desire not to participate in activities that are too loud or busy. However, sometimes he would sequester himself away a little too often if it were up to him… But you become very skilled at gently coaxing him out to group outings so you all can hang out together.
Tamaki is not surprised when you and Mirio get together. He never mentioned anything, but he thought Mirio’s crush on you was very obvious, and it seemed like you had feelings for the blonde as well.
— HADO NEJIRE -> You meet Nejire through frequent interactions with Mirio. She very quickly warms up to you! Even if you’re not particularly talkative right off the bat, she finds you very sweet and genuine. You don’t think you’ve ever had someone be so interested in figuring out your Quirk works, and she remarks that it seems to be an incredibly helpful and versatile ability. Although many people find her to be too invasive or energetic, you really don’t mind her. She’s good about being mindful if you’re not feeling very high energy, too. Nejire adores hanging out with you, and some of her favorite at-home activities she enjoys doing with you include cooking and baking. She also tends to bring you out for shopping or sleepovers pretty often (especially once you are all graduated from U.A. with established careers).
Nejire thinks it is absolutely adorable when you and Mirio start dating, and she is your most vocal supporter.
— SHUZENJI CHIYO (RECOVERY GIRL) -> A mentor figure. Assistance from those with Healing Quirks are always welcomed in the infirmary, especially when large events like the U.A. Sports Festival are underway, given that Recovery Girl is otherwise run ragged with the sheer amount of injuries she is expected to treat. It actually works quite well, since your Quirk works quite differently from hers—if someone has exhausted the amount that they can be healed by Recovery Girl for the time being, they can get further treatment from your concoctions. The little old woman thinks you have a very good head on your shoulders, and believes you’ll get far in life! You’re smart, responsible, and reliable. Even when others are being fussy or difficult, you do your best to extend patience towards them. Honestly, if you ever wanted to become a pro hero, she thinks you’d do really well.
— HATSUME MEI -> Your classmate and a good friend of yours. Mei is brilliant, eccentric, and tends to get way too absorbed in her various projects. Still, she’s very upbeat and friendly, so it’s quite easy to get along with her! You love seeing whatever she happens to cook up (though sometimes her ideas seem to be a bit outlandish and difficult to execute), and you two are often both busy in the workshop late in the evenings. Mei is a great intellectual match for you, and she heavily relates with your desire to constantly improve and aim for your next project to be better than the last. There is a lot of healthy competition between you two! While a lot of your shared time is spent in the workshop, you two also enjoy spending time together outside of class. You insist she sees the sun and touches the grass every once in a while, so taking walks outdoors is commonplace. She appreciates your level-headed and thoughtful approaches to things, even if you’re trying to critique or fix one of her more crazy inventions.
— MIDORIYA IZUKU -> You meet Izuku through his frequent trips to Recovery Girl’s office. There is only so much Recovery Girl can do for him in terms of healing, given the way her Quirk works, so she ends up passing him off to you. Honestly, he baffles you. You’re genuinely not sure how he keeps managing to hurt himself so badly with his Quirk so often, and he always seems to dodge your questions if they get too specific. Still, he ends up being quite a good test subject for many of your remedies! His injuries tend to be a bit complicated with contusions and broken bones and muscle tears, but he trusts you and is willing to try whatever you end up making for him. The two of you tend to chat during his visits, and eventually become good friends. He is very sweet and genuine, so he gets along quite well with you! Izuku is the type of friend who is happy to take turns gushing about your respective special interests.
ANOTHER PROMPT! (˶˃⤙˂˶) This time... ☃️ + Okkotsu Yuta!
— The two of you are being sent out on a mission together. It's a little ways out of Tokyo, and it sounds like it's going to be a mission that requires a decent amount of waiting and patience. The curse in question only seems to show up once every few days, very difficult to track even if one is good at picking up energy fluctuations. Gojo promised that transportation and accomodations were arranged for you two since the mission was definitely going to take at least a few days.
— However, when you and Yuta arrive at the rather small village and check into the inn, there is a bit of an awkward surprise once you two arrive at your shared room. Sharing a room in and of itself isn't an issue, you both have done so together and with other teammates without an issue. Today, it seems life wants to play a little joke on you two, because there is only one bed. You feel like you can make it work; you may have a bit of a crush on Yuta (or a pretty big crush, if you were being honest) but surely you can manage sharing a bed for a night or two. Yuta is... a lot more flustered, though he does his best to seem unbothered and nonchalant about it, in order to not make things too awkward. (He's not very successful. He's honestly surprised that you haven't called him out on his more-than-obvious crush on you, really.)
— It's the middle of winter, and the room is a little chilly. The blankets on hotel beds never seem to be as warm and cozy as the ones back home, either! You're the first one to get into bed after doing your nighttime routine, and the cool, stiff sheets are mildly unpleasant, but you figure you'll get over it soon enough. It doesn't take long for Yuta to join you in bed, after he makes sure his sword is in prime condition for potential battles tomorrow and he completes his own bedtime routine (he has been stalling). Once he settles in next to you, maybe half an arm's length away, a quiet settles over the dark room. All that can be heard is quiet breathing and the occasional shuffle of sheets and blankets as one of you tries to get more comfortable. Yuta wouldn't be surprised if you could hear his erratically thumping heart—his palms are sweaty and he's stiffly lying on his back, too afraid to really acknowledge the fact that he's sharing a bed with his longtime crush.
— The bed does feel much warmer and cozier once two people are in it. It takes a bit of time before each of you fall asleep, with Yuta finally going to bed considerably later than you, but it seems you naturally sought out his warmth in your sleep! There isn't a ton of extra space in the bed, anyway, so is it really any surprise when you two end up cuddled up together? Both of you are resting on your sides, facing each other; the crown of your head is nestled beneath his chin, your nose nuzzling his neck. His arm has found a comfortable spot loosely draped over your waist, considering your body is slotted right up against his. Neither of you move around too much in your sleep, nor do either of you snore. Yuta mumbles in his sleep here and there, nothing coherent and quiet enough that it doesn't wake you.
— Yuta wakes up a bit earlier than you (he never seems to get quite as much sleep as he should, and you enjoy sleeping in juuust a little when you can). It always takes his sleepy brain to wake up, and all he thinks is that he's surprisingly warm and comfortable, and that he slept better than he thought he would in an unfamiliar inn bed, especially considering... Oh, that's right. He shared a bed with you last night! That's when he realizes that you two are very much cuddled up with each other. How long have you been in that position?
— His brain malfunctions and he feels like he's mere seconds away from melting into a flustered, embarrassed puddle. He's not ready to confront his feelings for you yet, not ready to deal with a potentially awkward situation if you wake up and realize he's been cuddling you all night—so he attempts to quickly but gingerly extract himself from you. Alas, this happens to wake you up, your "pillow" moving from beneath your head as an arm pulls away from your side. Yuta's breath hitches when your eyes, hazy with sleep, meet his. Oh, you're way too pretty. His heart can't take it.
— "G-good morning!" Yuta stutters as he scoots back, successfully untangling his limbs from yours. He turns and gets out of the bed, keeping his flushed cheeks hidden from view. "I'm going to go get ready." (You can't help the shy, flustered smile that appears on your face when you think about the fact that you actually slept quite well in your classmate's arms. You're actually rather excited that you have another night or two in this inn, now.)
♡
CHRISTMAS ASK GAME⋆꙳·❅🎄‧ ‧❆.ೃ࿔*:
THIS IS SO CUTE!!! ₍₍⚞(˶˃ ꒳ ˂˶)⚟⁾⁾
Picking Yuta for this prompt is such a good choice, hehe. I think that there is only one bed trope is something that definitely can happen at some point in JJK universe, because well, missions are crazy and Gojo enjoys embarrassing his students. But, ugh, this is such a sweet, pining scenario, I'm giggling and kicking my legs. (≧ ﹏ ≦) Not to mention that it is SO IN CHARACTER!!! It feels like a real piece of canon story. I adore it so so much!
꒰☃️ only one bed with bakugo katsuki꒱
♡ The visiting mission you and Katsuki were assigned to turned into a total chaos and mess. Initially, it was supposed to be a one-day trip, without any overnight stays. No one predicted such a large number of villains causing various issues. Although you and Katsuki, along with a few other local heroes, managed to clear this mess swiftly, it turned out to take significantly longer than expected, and suddenly it was already midnight. The two of you faced not only the problem of searching for a place to sleep, but also the fact that all the hotels in this small town were jammed. Unfortunately, some of the buildings were seriously damaged by villains, which led to people overrun the hotels. The only room you two managed to find ended up to be a honeymoon suite to the great annoyance of Katsuki. The idea of sleeping outdoors, however, only added to his frustration, and so you found yourselves in the room which unfortunately only had one bed.
♡ Looking at the bed decorated with disgusting heart-shaped pillows, Katsuki felt that he was about to explode, either from anger or because of the sudden wave of embarrassment. He insisted that he would sleep in the bathtub, but there was only a shower cabin; then he offered to sleep on the floor, but there was only one blanket. On the other side, you remained utterly unfazed when you suggested that the bed was large enough for both of you to sleep together. Somehow, it pissed Katsuki off even more. Are you indifferent to the prospect of sleeping in the same bed with him? Do you not care about lying next to him at all? Is he like a log or something in your eyes? And why in hell does he care if you are flustered or not? You are only his classmate (correction, a very hot and badass classmate whom Katsuki is in love with, but not ready to admit this obvious truth yet), and nothing more. He is absolutely not flustered, and does definitely not blushing! His face is red from anger because of your stupid jokes, that's all!
♡ You are the first one who settles in bed after a quick shower. Usually, you enjoy staying up a little longer, drinking tea or maybe playing some games. Given that the time had already passed midnight, you chose to rest. The mission was quite stressful and took a lot out of both of you. You would be lying if you said that the idea of sharing one bed with Katsuki doesn't thrill you at all. After all, you've long had a crush on him. However, he seemed much more flustered about it than he wanted to admit, which was an amazing opportunity for teasing. Stepped out of the shower, Katsuki with a towel around his shoulders and drops of water streaming down his neck looked like he was trying his best to impress you, and you would not be yourself if you didn't mock him about it. "I'M NOT!!!", Katsuki broke into shout, flopped down on the hotel bed, and wrapped himself head to foot in the blanket (only to hide his nervousness). "I'm gonna sleep", he grumbled and fell silent. You couldn't help but chuckle while making yourself as comfortable as possible on the hotel bed: "you look like a big white caterpillar". "SHUT UP!!!"
♡ Despite all the nervousness about sleeping in one bed, this mission was tiring enough to make both of you fall asleep almost immediately. And while Katsuki didn't make too many movements, you started tossing and turning in your sleep in an attempt to find the source of heat for your poor icy-cold limbs. Inevitably, you rolled close to Katsuki, sticking your hands under his shirt, and interlacing your legs. Normally, he would immediately wake up; however, fatigue has already made itself felt. So by wrapping his arms around your waist, Katsuki only pulled you closer and then drifted into even deeper sleep.
♡ The morning sun breaking through the window of the hotel room shone into Katsuki's eyes, thus making him wake up first. Feeling irritated by the situation, he didn't immediately notice that he was actually holding his longtime crush in his arms. What's more flustering, you looked so damn gorgeous, and (he felt that his face turned absolutely red in no time and his heart was about to jump out of his chest) your hands actually were under his shirt. "Wake up, you pervert! You’re all over me!”, yelled Katsuki out of embarrassment as he frantically pulled away. Not because he actually wanted (in fact, he had a hard time resisting the urge to stay like this for a little longer, which pissed him off even more), but because he wasn't ready to reveal his feelings for you. Oh, wait, feelings? Well, at least this mission forced him to admit that he, Bakugo Katsuki, has a big crush on his amazing classmate. And maybe, one day, he will be ready to tell you about it.
Have a wonderful day, my dear, and feel free to send more if you are interested! ଘ(੭ˊ꒳ˋ)੭♡
Before Blue Lock, you already had some experience from being the manager of your high school's soccer team (mainly because your friends in the club begged you to help them). When you received an offer letter (more like a job ad really) for a position as Blue Lock's assistant manager during your break, offering little to no staff benefits and frankly abysmal pay, you weren't exactly intrigued. But one line in the letter stood out to you. Something about witnessing the effects of unconventional training methods and the egos of desperate players in a controlled environment. It didn't sound ethical, but it did sound interesting. And you've always loved witnessing interesting things. Plus, you'll get paid leave from school. So you packed your bags and left for the location stated in the letter.
Duties in Blue Lock:
Official duties include setting up and cleaning the equipment, keeping track of the players' diets (like in the first selection when players had different meals based on their ranking), and arranging transport for the eliminated players to go home. Unofficial duties include helping Anri with odd jobs if asked (checking emails, putting in orders for groceries, calling the technician when there are technical issues etc), boiling water for Ego's yakisoba, and keeping the blue lock members entertained and motivated with your presence.
Ego colour - Cyan
Cyan — A blend of the calming properties of blue with the refreshing energy of green. Representing tranquility, mental clarity, vitality and a modern, forward-thinking spirit. A colour that encapsulates the contradictory calm yet lively nature of your soul. I was debating between giving you a shade of yellow, blue or even green for your ego colour and nothing seemed right until I came across cyan while looking through colour palettes of blue. Cyan suits you perfectly.
Relationship with:
Otoya Eita
He was one of the first to approach you after you were officially introduced to the blue lockers after the second selection. (To get your number. In case of emergencies, of course). You're colder than the cute girls he's used to chasing, but that won't deter him. Kuuderes have their charm too~ He doesn't go out of his way to look for you, but he will try a pickup line or two when you're nearby handing out water bottles or checking on someone else. Give him a kiss before U20 match for luck? Definitely asked you out after the U20 Japan match (you turned him down flatly). Doesn't stop him from trying to hit on you once everyone comes back for the NEL. At this point, you've begin to warm up to him and his flirting, treating it as if it's just playful flirting between friends. The both of you could get along well because of your similar energies. Like you, Otoya is a go-with-the-flow type of person, often seen with a blank expression and not having strong emotions. Not very ambitious, but serious about pursuing a goal. I can see you both being friends!
Shidou Ryusei
Either the most or least surprising one here. He didn't notice you at first, until you did something that caught his attention like something silly with the other blue lockers or point out an improvement for his soccer, then all of a sudden he's all over you. Your icy demeanor doesn't deter him. He doesn't even mind if you ignore him. If anything it makes him want to approach you more. He's delighted when he finds that you actually like fun (unlike a certain underlashes junior)! And you encourage his bad decisions??!! That's it, he's adopting you. He's a very touchy person, but you're selective about physical touch, so he'll work hard to be someone you enjoy being around! Also, he's the friend you go skydiving with. Thrill-seeking buddies!!
Charles Chevalier
Who is this sassy lost child? After seeing that you get along with Shidou and encourage bad decisions, Charles quickly decided he likes you! He soon becomes like an annoying little brother that you don't mind being around because he can be so entertaining and funny. Sure, he'll try to ragebait you, but he ragebaits anyone indiscriminately. It's part of his bratty charm. Plus it's not like you won't try to tease him back. It's a battle of getting reactions out of the other. Maybe you both will even get into a prank war. All in good fun! Loki was tricked by your responsible work ethic and thought you would be a good influence on Charles, only to be (secretly) horrified when he catches you watching as Charles and Shidou make a mess in the meeting room. Mischievous imps, the both of you.
Itoshi Rin
On the surface, the both of you seem similar. Icy demeanor, introverted, little to no interest in bonding with others, intelligent. But that's where the similarities end because you both get along like oil and water. Rin's prickly personality aside, you and him just aren't compatible. You like to laugh and have fun, Rin is allergic to laughing and lives and breathes soccer. Some of the things he says are so out of pocket that you can't help laughing. "Soccer is a fight to the death". Okay, calm down. The both of you rarely interact, but when you do, he either triggers your pride because he was condescending or you're teasing him until he looks like he's about to have an aneurysm. If Shidou and/or Charles are nearby, the chances of it being the latter are a lot higher. So it's best for Rin and you if you both just didn't interact. Your job involves ensuring his wellbeing, and high blood pressure isn't going to help his soccer career.
Michael Kaiser
Another one who triggers your pride and "need to tease" instinct. But his dynamic with you is a love/hate push-and-pull one. You both want to draw reactions out of the other. You find him too handsome and irritating to back down, he finds you too stubborn but fun to jab at. (Everyone else is tired of your bickering.) If Kaiser stopped trying to antagonize everyone around him for one second, he might realise you have traits that he would appreciate beyond you being a toy for him. Like your ability to read people and little care for external validation. Unfortunately, he is too focused on himself and his pain for that. So the both of you stay as frenemies for a while. Maybe he'll catch a crush a few years down the line as long as you both remain in contact. Though you're already with Karasu by then.
Your ideal match is… Karasu Tabito !
A guy that fits all of your preferences in a partner!! Humorous, independent (he's super chill. he only watches you from his peripheral like 40% of the time), and has enough self-respect to put down boundaries if you do something iffy. He's fine with your mean side (it's kind of attractive actually). The chances of him biting back or rolling his eyes and not reacting further are 50/50. When he's interested in someone (and you are very interesting), he can be persistent in wanting to interact with them! But he keeps his feelings well hidden so it is likely that he fell first and kept quiet about it until you fell later on and confessed to him. Slow burn to the max.
♡ CROW X RAVEN OMG- Ahem. The both of you are smart and have intellectual interests, so you both would stimulate each other mentally! Karasu also likes teasing and bantering with others, so the debates between you both would go crazy. But he never acts condescending towards you and pisses you off, unlike a certain someone.
♡ You both enjoy history, just different areas of it (he likes world history, whereas you like ancient and medieval history), which makes for engaging discussions where you both get to learn from each other. He would love to visit historical sites with you! He'll look into some good spots to take you on vacation. In addition, you enjoy reading and he likes Japanese literature, which means book discussions! He would give you great book recommendations, and vice versa (hopefully. don't troll him please).
♡ The both of you would enjoy people watching together, usually while in a waiting area like the airport. It's fun to watch the little interactions between people and anything funny that happens. You don't care to analyze strangers, but Karasu will encourage you to analyze what you can about them from their behavior and/or clothing. He likes analyzing people (loved ones and strangers alike), so indulge him, will ya?
♡ The both of you are thinkers and it shows in your communication styles, which means high compatibility and a functional relationship! Like you, Karasu is solution-oriented and not one to dwell on unhappy feelings. The both of you would solve disagreements relatively well, unlikely to react emotionally and focusing on solving the problem.
♡ Karasu doesn't like receiving surprise gifts, so he's relieved that you have trouble keeping secrets about gifts you have for people. Actually just tell him what you have in store for him, or at least give hints, so he won't be so surprised when you give him the gift. On the flip side, he's much more enthusiastic about giving you gifts! A new video game you've been wanting to try, books and manga that you end up loving, chocolate with interesting flavours that he picked up from his travels.
A/N: About your backstory, my idea was that Anri thought there's no way she can handle managing BLLK all by herself, especially during the early stages of the project. So she sent offer letters to young people with managing a soccer team experience to hire extra help. BLLK's budget is tight af, so the abysmal pay was what she could offer at the time. After BLLK gets more money from streaming reality TV, your pay increases. :P
AH ( ˶°ㅁ°) !! This was posted while I was at work and I saw the notification and I was just sitting with this knowledge for the rest of my shift but unable to actually read it properly. But AHHH THANK YOU!!
Backstory → I mean, hey, the pay may be buns but if it lets me worm out of some school for a while... it could be a fun change of pace?! Finding out those boys are in football prison would be insane though, LMAO. But working under Anri should be pretty chill! Although it is best for everyone involved that I don't have to be in Ego's vicinity too often because I'd be picking fights (it's fine, I just think he's half full of shit, it's really chill). Picking up more Blue Lock boys babysitting duties ASAP. But more pay with the Blue Lock TV, yippee!
Color → Ooh, cyan! It is a bright and bold color, and I think the description definitely fits!
Relationships → Otoya is seriously so funny to me. His flirting will get him nowhere but at the same time I respect the audacity LMAO. But I agree, I do think he'd be a really chill friend to hang out with (I'm also now imagining trio hangouts with him and Karasu).
SHIDOU. Well, if Sae's attitude can't deter him, I'd be surprised if mine could. We share the same zest for life for sure! (I NEED to go skydiving one day and SOON. Bungee jumping, short distance freefalling into nets, and ziplining will only tide me over for so long).
Charles is such a cute little brat. Grabbing him in a chokehold one moment and being best buddies the next. (RIP Loki).
I actually love that you threw Rin in here because I genuinely don't think that I could interact with him without butting heads. Definitely a little too serious and stuffy for me to want to be around him for very long.
Ahh, Kaiser... (biggest fattest crush on him tbh). The fact that we would both frequently have reactions of "how DARE you say that to me?" is so funny. I definitely relate to him a certain degree in the sense that I understand very well what it's like to have an unstable home and needing to cut off the softer parts of you to survive and being very self-aware of how you're now coming across to others and using it to your advantage. But there's a clear branch in which he is definitely held back by his past whereas I refuse to let mine take any more of my life than it already has. And that all gives an additional undercurrent to your mention of how I have traits that he'd appreciate if he actually took the time to notice it.
Match → CORVID COUPLE!!! ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و ♡ No doubt some jokes would be made by our friends (especially since there isn't necessarily a difference between crow and raven in the Japanese language and if we translated my name it'd just be... karasu. Hehe, Karasu²). The moodboard is super cute, the little text exchange made me laugh. I definitely see the dynamic you were going for and I have to agree that he would suit what I look for in others, especially since I tend to want a mentally stimulating partner over anything physical or emotional. Not that I don't very much adore all the bits of being in a relationship, but I digress. (Do we think he'd fluster a bit if my confession was sweet/charming enough? I have the urge to get him blushing now. I'm blowing him kisses if I catch him staring at me). Dates to historical sites! 🕺💃 I fear if we moved in together and had a sort of shared bookshelf, there'd be so many miscellaneous history books on its shelves. Bantering would be our own little love language for sure, and I imagine it still gets a bit sharp at times even well into the relationship (to other people's standards, at least, if there are any onlookers).
LMAO the gift thing... Raven practically vibrating in eagerness, being like "no no, I can NOT tell you what it is and you have to wait" and Karasu being like, "come on, just one hint?" and Raven almost caves.
match-up trade with @frostfallen-tryst -> my hero academia
i hope you like where i put you, please let me know what you think! oh, also, i really like the header pictures i chose for you, might have to do with the kitty.
.✦ ݁˖ profile.
quirk. wings of void.
quirk type. emitter.
you have pitch-black wings, made of shadows and something dark beyond the matters humans have discovered as of yet. you can make them disappear and reappear whenever you want, and change their shapes to an extend; they still have to be wing-shaped and can't be bigger than twice your size. depending on your mood, you prefer to make them look like raven or bat wings.
they make you fly, but also have other effects. they act as dark voids, swallowing up whatever's thrown at them to never be seen again, they can make shadows fall over a room, they can make people's moods gloomy.
you love your wings; flying makes you feel free and thrilled. you've belonged to the skies since you were born, and made friends of ravens.
affiliation. the league of villains.
villain name. ravenoid.
(raven + void, and sounds like "humanoid", so we can take it to mean "raven-like".)
you don't have a set costume, you wear black and gray, mostly paired with fishnets or chains, sometimes leather. you just wear what you find fashionable, and it goes well with your quirk and theme, anyway. your hair is silver, so your green eyes are mostly the only color out of the black-gray scale one can see on you.
you enjoy staying on theme in public, but you wear muted greens in your daily life, too. and anything else you prefer, really.
.✦ ݁˖ backstory.
you grew up in a... household far from ideal, let's say. there were always financial problems, and your mother was abusive. you grew up to be a cold and distant person, but you survived. when your quirk manifested, your parents were afraid of it; a darkness that swallowed up anything it came across, there were times when they just avoided you.
you moved out of your parents' house as soon as you graduated from high school, not leaving on good terms or keeping in contact. you were determined to draw yourself a viable path, away from misery. you were determined to live a happy life, no matter what you had to do for it; you were going to be happy.
but your clashes with society didn't end there; your quirk caused other problems, and your personality didn't help smooth things over, either; you were confrontational, defiant, apathetic, and cold. not exactly the qualities you need if you want to make yourself look innocent, to convince people you wouldn't become a villain.
your shift to villainy didn't happen because of one defining moment; it was a slow, natural process. you had problems with authority and strict rules, you were a rulebreaker in your daily life. you sought out risky activities. you didn't care much for people. you were a free spirit, you did whatever you wanted, whenever you wanted, without any regard for what anyone else had to say; including the times when others would be justified. the way you lived your life fit a villain more than a civillian; you realised slowly. and you started spending time in the streets where villains roamed more, as you wanted to satisfy your curiosity: how did they live? you also got a thrill out of it; putting yourself in danger, and having to come up with ways to escape their clutches if you became targeted.
you developed contempt for the hero public safety commission as more of their rules and regulations kept making less sense to you. and you became known amongst villains, as one of them. this was a lifestyle that fit you, so you decided to identify as a villain fully, and kept doing as you pleased.
being feared for your quirk wasn't a bad thing among villains, for the most part. most of them also had strange quirks, and being feared underground meant respect, it definitely felt better than what civillians had been saying your whole life.
i'm matching you with જ⁀➴ ♡ dabi !
dabi saw you soaring in the sky, free as a bird, and then retracting your wings midair; falling with your arms open, until you extended your wings again when your nose almost touched the ground, making a sharp maneuver. you lived dangerously, had a brazen attitude; he’d been observing you for a while now.
he hadn’t known why shigaraki had set his eyes on you at first, when he’d been assigned to recruit you, but after a few days of observing, he now understood the reason. extremely useful quirk, unafraid risk-taker, your personality seemed like a good fit for the league, too. he told shigaraki so, and then he talked to you, making an offer that would change the course of your life.
being a member of the league was... pretty fun, actually, for the most part. you'd been content by yourself until now, and you'd had your doubts about whether being a part of a team would work for you or not, but things had taken a surprisingly pleasant direction. you assumed it must've been because everyone in the league enjoyed their own freedom, although you moved together with one goal in mind, and as time went on... you found yourself growing fonder of your friends, your relationships deepening. even more so with one particular member than the others.
as you watched dabi more and more, you came to the horrible conclusion that... he was totally your type, actually. yup. like joining a team in an effort to take down the whole society of heroes wasn't enough, now you were attracted to one of the members of said team. great.
you and dabi just clicked from the start; he was the first one (and the only one other than twice... well, half of twice) to laugh at the first joke you cracked at your first meeting with the team (although admittedly, it wasn't exactly the most appropriate time for a wisecrack. not that you cared when they were the ones to seek you out), and he matched your energy perfectly (your vibes are similar, i think you two would be on the same frequency naturally, for the most part).
the two of you would spend time sitting on the couch at your "headquarters" (shigaraki's concerning living space), more so in a lying position, feet on the table in front of you, and watch tv, or play games, or just talk... or just be; you would do your own thing while he looked at the ceiling and thought, until he didn't want to think anymore, and started bothering you to tell him what you were doing. over time, it had become easy to just exist around each other while doing your own things, and spend time doing something together.
you worked together on a few missions with him, and then he invited you on a few "personal missions" of his own, which were mostly just instances of breaking the law for the fun of it, really. you two made a horrifying pair, as you had the time of your life encouraging his risky and clearly not-okay decisions, and he enjoyed doing the same for you (not an ounce of common sense between the two of you btw). and then you started hanging out outside of the times when you had a certain goal in mind; to just walk, or grab a cup of latte from a cafe.
before you could realise it, you'd grown fond of him. you hung out without any prearrangements most times, but there were times when you offered to meet up, too, although it was mostly him at the start.
you made him worse in some ways — he didn't use to be such a jokester before. in fact, despite being laid back and nonchalant, he was quite serious and mostly quiet during meetings. you two share a common sense of humor, however, and he joins in whenever you joke about something, turning it into a chain of jokes in some cases, and he mostly does so because he likes hearing you laugh, or getting your attention. he would never admit it to himself, though. at least, not for a long time. he would definitely clap back if you made a joke at his expense, or if you happened to be mean, and might even double down. he wouldn't be offended or badly affected, your relationship would be comfortable and have the casualness of a married couple's relationship (even before becoming lovers at all), and you both would know the other person loves you, even when they don't say it.
i don't think either of you like to cook, so you eat takeout a lot, and you both like it. you sometimes go to those eat-spicy-challenge restaurants, and you always attempt to eat the spiciest options. you aim to beat him, but end up wanting to die from the spice levels. his stomach hurts from laughing. (good thing you're too busy dying to strangle him.)
during missions, he thinks it's hilarious that you guys can just get rid of evidence by throwing anything and everything into your wings, even when there are other very available methods at hand, he always offers to use your wings. you like seeing his amusement for your feared quirk, so you allow it, but if he's offended you somehow or if you've argued, you reject, and the whole leage just sighs in annoyance. get a room already! (they know you both feel like arguing sometimes, and enjoy a bit of back-and-forth every now and then, and make it everyone else's problem (you disagree on the last part, while dabi thinks it is only natural).)
on the topic of arguements, i do think there might end up being some serious ones between you, since i don't think either of you would give up easily if you happened to disagree on something. you'd be willing to do your own separate things for the duration of the thing you disagreed on, though, and you both are chill overall, so i don't think it would be a regular occurrence, or a big deal.
tl;dr: personalities and vibes match. a chill relationship, casual vibes, crazy adventures, and many jokes (normal jokes or roasting each other).
also, he's your personal heater. say goodbye to your cold hands and feet.
.✦ ݁˖ other relationships.
shigaraki tomura. you confuse and annoy shigaraki. at first, he thought you were a crazy person who did not have an ounce of care for your own safety, but then he learned that you refuse to do anything that might actually kill you. (good thing your perception of what might be lethal is different from a normal person's, so you don't complain about most missions... or so he thinks? he's not exactly sure how a normal person is supposed to be.) and then, he thought all you knew how to do was joke around and annoy the people who actually wanted to have a productive meeting... except, he saw you actually act professional on a mission; you were locked in, and he realised that you can be serious when you want to. he's not sure whether that's better or worse, considering you don't act that way during his meetings. whatever, he will accept you as you are... it's not like the rest of the league are saints. besides, you are his found family too, with the rest of his team members, and as he grows as a leader, he starts taking more responsibility for you (not the suicide attempts you commit weekly (you call them "little adventures", he disagrees)).
toga himiko. toga thinks you rock! you have a cool fashion sense, you can fly, you're cool. you're like an older sister figure to her; you don't try to control or contain her, and you actually seem amused by her quirk (like everyone else in the league). when she yaps about things you don't understand, you just nod your head and agree with her. (you've agreed to her doing... not so ideal things before, but you don't care. kurogiri can cry about it.)
twice. he thinks you're soo cool. no, he thinks you're boring and annoying. 🙄 no, he thinks you're a good friend and he likes you. 😌 no, he thinks you would feed him to sharks to save your own tail and you don't like him, actually. 😔 no, he thinks you do like him! no-
you have a pretty good relationship with twice in general, although a part of him likes your jokes and a part doesn't, he likes you in general. you hang out with him the most after dabi, you can tell he's very genuine and actually sees all of you as his family.
spinner. ah yes, the one with the most common sense among all of you (or is he?). he doesn't mind pretty much anything you do, really. he likes most of your jokes, although you can't make him laugh in serious settings. you think he's just chill and keeps in his own lane, and by that i mean he doesn't judge you for anything or make any unnecessary comments, he does join in on the fun for the most part though, if you're doing an activity together or conversing. he likes you, obviously. you carried him while flying once and it was the most fun he'd had in a long while. the weight was a bit too much for you though, so you refuse to do it again unless it's necessary. oh well, it was good for spinner while it lasted.
mr. compress. he appreciates your style and your consistency with it, he thinks you're properly dramatic (not your personality, but the way you perform extremely dangerous stunts for the fun of it). he thinks your quirk is beautiful, he tries to get you to perform with him during some missions, and sometimes, you actually accept (he's pretty cool, and he's the only one who listens to your complaints (whenever you have any) like a normal person).
in conclusion: you are a part of this somewhat dysfunctional but genuine found family. 😌 (do not let this distract you from the fact that you all are very dangerous criminals.)
kind of random, but if the two of us were to be friends, i feel like i'd be trying to get you out of trouble 24 / 7 and you'd be trying to get me in trouble as a hobby every now and then.
THANK YOU FOR THIS ◝(ᵔᗜᵔ)◜ It has been a while since I've done an MHA exchange; I was curious to see what you'd come up with!
Thoughts below the cut!
The Quirk idea is so fun! (and funny, re: tossing crime evidence away in the wing void, lol). I'm actually quite fond of wind/flying abilities when it comes to myself, especially since I can see myself pulling some daredevil stunts with such abilities. The void wings seem super practical, too, which I love! Hehe, Ravenoid—cute! I love the monochrome idea for the outfits too.
I'm always interested to see if people work in details from my IRL past into whatever backstory they cook up for a matchup! I do think it ends up working very well for MHA! I actually think this is the first time someone has written me into the LoV too, which was really neat to see.
DABI AS MY MATCH! I love him, he is among my favorites, hehe. I've gotten matched with him a couple times and I'm always happy to see him featured! I adore the way you've written our dynamic, this "bickering married couple" + reckless bozos type of thing. Getting him to play up his humor a bit more would be a fantastic achievement, hehe. Ah, he'd be so toasty and warm too... perfect to snuggle up to in cold weather!
LMAO Shigaraki having this begrudging acceptance. I can totally see it, though!! Unfortunately for him, I would start to exasperate him on purpose. Toga's cute, I can see us getting along. And TWICE! I love Twice, he's super fun and I would definitely end up spending a lot of time with him. Spinner, ever the reasonable one! He is really chill though, so I can see us getting along (maybe I'll have to beef up so I can carry him while flying again). Compress is goofy too, I'm very fond of him.
THANK YOU AGAIN! I absolutely loved this matchup and it was a delight to read! Very thorough, well thought-out, and cohesive, staty to finish!
“The continent of Fódlan, said to be protected by a revered goddess, has existed since time immemorial. Three ruling powers now control the land. In the south lies a region long held by a more than one-thousand-year-old dynasty—the Adrestian Empire. Beyond its borders, to the frigid north, is the home of the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus, ruled by the royal family and its knights. To the east, a league of nobles that heeds no king nor emperor rules what is called the Leicester Alliance. Once consumed by a tempest of war and turmoil, Fódlan and these three mighty powers now exist in relative harmony.”

— BIOGRAPHY
[ Early Life ]
You are born and raised in the Leicester Alliance—a temperate land of sprawling plains, winding rivers, and gorgeous mountains. It is practically idyllic compared to the cold, harsh lands of Faerghus or the often uncomfortably warm humidity of the Adrestian Empire. Though not among the nobility that govern the Alliance, you do hail from a noble family nonetheless. Your family is influential, but not overly wealthy nor thoroughly intertwined in the politics of the land.
Your family’s home is situated near the border between the Alliance and the Adrestian Empire; it allows for you to encounter both people from your homeland and those of a different culture. While you do not hear much of political tensions as a child, the topic is something you start processing more and more as you get older. The Leicester Alliance and the Adrestian Empire have a bit of history, with the Alliance striking out on their own and trying to gain their independence from the Empire (and subsequently having similar issues with Faerghus, though you hear much more regarding the Empire given the proximity of your family’s estate to the border)… and while that event was many years ago and the situation has smoothed over like an old scar, history never truly forgets.
The Crest of Timotheos runs in your bloodline, securing its noble status; as for social standing, your family helps oversee and protect merchant trade routes between the Alliance and the Empire, which generates a decent amount of wealth. Some in your family manage the finances, taxes, and contracts; others are on the road to protect merchants who are traveling to more dangerous places around the continent. The Alliance is known for having quite the robust economy, so many upper class families are involved in trade some way or another.
Compared to those raised in more prominent families within the Alliance, your upbringing is just a little more humble, a little closer to the common folk. Your family’s estate is not extremely lavish, but you still get to enjoy plenty of open land on which to ride horses, large gardens to admire and cultivate, and many opportunities to become learned and well-read. Dancing is also among your more physically active hobbies, and you have the privilege of being able to work under various dance instructors in one-on-one and small group settings. Sometimes your schedule feels overfull, but a small vacation is often within sight.
Thankfully, your upbringing is relatively peaceful as a whole—though darkness seems to loom on the peripherals. As much as people like to focus on their day to day life and pretend that nothing is going on, the political situation of Fódlan as a whole seems to be deteriorating little by little.
By default, given the way noble families very often tend to pass on their wealth and duties from one generation to the next, your parents hold expectations of you taking over the family business once they’re ready to step down and retire. That said, they do not wish to force you into a role you have no interest in, so they encourage you to explore your own passions. If there’s something else you want to do with your life, they would not stop you from pursuing it. But, in the meantime, they’ll make sure you get plenty of knowledge and experience in the event that you do eventually take over the business.
As for yourself, you find it difficult to decide what to do. Overseeing trade routes and merchants isn’t something that interests you. You would love to work with and care for animals, but you would also hate to potentially let your parents down. As much as they insist that you can do what you want with your own life, you can’t help but feel that you might put them in a tough spot. Perhaps a good middle ground would be to help your parents out for now, and then you can eventually transfer the business to new owners (you do have some cousins that may be interested) while you set out to accomplish your own goals. Yeah, that sounds like an okay plan! In any case, you can always adjust your plans if something comes up. You throw yourself into your studies, making sure to learn as much as you can about the landscape of Fódlan and its economics.
The Officers Academy is not something you consider until you’re chatting with one of your friends (a certain Ignatz Victor). He explains that he is planning on enrolling to be a knight-in-training since his older brother is inheriting his family’s merchant business, and you remember that some of your older relatives have taken that route as well. Being a knight in and of itself may not be the most in-line with your interests, but you can see the utility of it, especially if you can hone your budding abilities in magic. Your parents are supportive of your idea, though they definitely worry about your safety! Still, they procure the money to secure your enrollment, and send you off with warm hugs and well wishes.
[ Academy Phase ]
“The Black Eagles, the Blue Lions, and the Golden Deer… All so different.”
Upon your enrollment to Garreg Mach, you were placed in the Golden Deer House since you reside in the Leicester Alliance. Given that you are part of an upper class family, you recognize a few faces and names! Though you have not had the chance to meet any of the children of the Five Great Lords prior, the names are familiar: Riegan, Goneril, Gloucester, Ordelia, Edmund. It’s a bit surprising that so many of them have enrolled in the Academy this year! As for those you are more personally familiar with—Ignatz’s family works with yours, and you’ve met him a few times on the occasions that he accompanied his parents for discussions (he would often find some time to chat with you about your horses and gardens). Raphael’s family once worked with yours, too, before his parents passed away; that said, you never met Raphael since he did not accompany his parents during their work.
“Welcome to the Golden Deer! Oh, your last name… I think I’ve met your parents once or twice. If I remember right, you guys live near the Adrestian border, right? I’m Claude von Riegan—it’s nice to meet you!” Claude’s greeting is friendly and casual, not quite what you would expect from an heir to an important noble house, but you also have no complaints about the head of the House being warm and welcoming… That said, you also can’t help but feel like his gaze is almost calculating, like he’s trying to suss out exactly what type of person you are.
Unlike the Blue Lions or Black Eagles, the social hierarchy within the Golden Deer doesn’t play a huge role in how your peers interact with each other. Yes, there are those who hail from noble families and those that are commoners, and the difference in backgrounds can be very clear at times—however, spurred on by Claude’s lead, most of the Golden Deer treat each other as equals. There are some exceptions of course (considering Lorenz’s insistence on acting in ways that would exemplify his noble status, for example) but for the most part, the Golden Deer feel like a ragtag little family. It helps some of your homesickness; after that feeling sets in, you start viewing the Officers Academy as a home away from home.
The idea of transferring classes doesn’t cross your mind for quite a while. Actually, it never would have crossed your mind if you hadn’t become friends with Mercedes and Annette.
Your friendship with the two Blue Lions girls begins when you keep running into them around the classrooms and courtyard in the early evenings. It turns out all three of you have been staying late to work on spellcasting. The training grounds tend to be frequented by those who prefer to use weapons as their primary mode of offense and defense; for those who lean into spells, much of your practice can be easily done in empty classrooms (especially since the spells you work on tend to be non-offensive and easily contained). The quiet is nice for examining magical theory and practicing incantations. At first, the three of you exchange nods and pleasantries as you cross paths. Not long after, you start discussing what each of you is working on, and then that turns into planned meet-ups to study together. The friendship between the three of you blossoms quickly, and soon enough you’re hanging out with them in your free time.
Through them, you start getting to know about the Blue Lions from the stories they tell. The members of their House seem very close-knit and loyal to each other, though as a whole they carry themselves a little more seriously than the Golden Deer. But Mercedes and Annette are so sweet and friendly, and you feel like your magical abilities have grown leaps and bounds since you started practicing with them; the idea of being able to actually share classes with them is very appealing. Besides, you haven’t had the chance to make bonds with many people from outside the Leicester Alliance—you’ve visited a few villages within the Adrestian Empire on occasion, but you’ve never come close to Faerghus. It would be nice to get to know the land and its culture a bit more, and that would be far easier if you were classmates with people who were raised there. It won’t be difficult to keep in touch with your Golden Deer friends, either, especially since you’re all from the same land.
You request your transfer from the Golden Deer to the Blue Lions about halfway through the year. Claude is quite surprised, but takes the news well.
“So you got sick of us, huh? Hey, don’t make that face—I’m just joking! It sounds like you’ve made some good friends from there, so it makes sense. We’ll miss you, so make sure to come by and visit here and there. Maybe we should make plans to meet up after we graduate?”
It takes a bit of time for you to settle into the Blue Lions. From a lesson standpoint, there isn’t much difference in the actual curriculum—though Byleth is now your primary instructor and his teaching methods are rather different from Hanneman’s. (You haven’t decided if that’s a good thing or not; Byleth is certainly… unique). Meshing with your classmates is the thing that takes time.
Already knowing Mercedes and Annette is helpful, though, especially since they’re willing to help introduce you to everyone. Your new House leader Dimitri certainly lives up to his title of crown prince, welcoming your transfer graciously and expressing his hopes that everyone is kind to you. Considering how sweet you are, he can’t imagine it would be hard for you to get along with most, if not all, of your new classmates! Ingrid, Ashe, and Sylvain are also friendly, though Sylvain’s immediate, heavy-handed flirting makes you keep him at arm’s length for a good while… Dedue is polite but a little distant, so it’s hard to get a solid read on him. Felix is definitely the hardest to approach, given his prickly demeanor and clear distaste for making friends, but it’s not impossible to chat with him on occasion.
Nonetheless, at the start of your transfer you are more eager than nervous to see what the future holds. You are hopeful that the second half of your year is just as pleasant as the first!
And yet, tides can change terribly fast.
As the year continues on, you feel like it’s one mess after the other, each occurrence more dire than the last. The death of Sylvain’s brother, Ashe losing his adoptive brother and Lord Lonato rebelling against the Church, the lingering resentment of those in Duscur, the cracks in Dimitri’s mental state, Edelgard’s declaration of war, the Church of Seiros falling apart with Rhea’s transformation into a dragon and subsequent disappearance… Even then, all of that is only a portion of what happens.
Your time at the Officers Academy ends on a much more somber note than you expect. Still, it wasn’t all bad—you made many good friends, both from your home territory of the Leicester Alliance and abroad. There were moments of lighthearted fun between grief and unease. When it comes time for you to return back home, you make promises to keep in touch with everyone. It’s hard to predict where the war will go, but you’ll be damned if you don’t try and keep your friends and loved ones close.
[ War Phase ]
“What’s the difference between killing someone and calling for their death instead? In both situations, their blood is on your hands, so isn’t it all the same?”
“Like all things, it’s about context and perspective.”
With the war, your parents are busier than ever—and it is certainly not because trade and the economy are flourishing. The stability of the Leicester Alliance is weakening, and some areas are too dangerous for merchants to comfortably travel. Trade is no longer possible with the Adrestian Empire, which means that some goods can no longer be imported. Your family’s business involves overseeing what items are in demand, what there are shortages of, where merchants can and can’t travel… Your parents quickly become overwhelmed with all of these drastic changes, so you step up and start helping them out. In some ways, it’s not too different from chess; moving pieces from one spot to the next, all while needing to be aware of the greater situation so as to protect as many as possible.
However, it has certainly solidified the fact that you most definitely do not want to do this type of work for the rest of your life. Maybe you’ll create an animal sanctuary—there are always animals in need of healing or simply just a quiet place to live, and that will especially be the case during and after the war. Plus, you could see yourself with a florist business on the side… (Ah, enough daydreaming).
Family business aside, your estate is near the Adrestian border. With the primary aggressor in this conflict being so close to where you live, most days feel… tense, dreary. It isn’t inherently unsafe at this point, with most of the conquest happening elsewhere in more critical locations, but things could change in the future. That said, Claude has been very good at stepping up into his new role and tries his best to make sure the Alliance and those who call it come are as stable as possible. He comes by on occasion to check in on you and your folks, making sure that things along the border are safe—he insists that you all relocate to the capital if things are getting too precarious, though.
Helping your parents out with their work keeps you busy most days, but you grasp at any distraction you can in your free time. Tending to your beloved animals is your go-to escape, your furry and feathered companions being a very welcome solace. You find yourself spending more and more time in the gardens, the greenery serving to keep you grounded. Writing letters to your friends helps your mind process things as well, though you don’t always have the time to send them out. Sometimes it’s difficult to know if your letters ever make it to their recipients, especially those who live outside of the Leicester Alliance. News from your old Blue Lions friends is hard to come by, and most of what you learn about what goes on there is relayed to you by Claude.
(Your heart aches terribly when you hear about Dimitri’s imprisonment and the political unrest within the Kingdom. You’re thankful that the Alliance has managed to hold onto some semblance of stability; you can’t imagine what your old friends are going through in Faerghus as they try to navigate a situation where they have enemies both inside and outside their borders, but you desperately wish you could do something to help all the same.)
One day, Claude comes to you with an interesting proposal: “Would you be willing to help us out in Derdriu? Although, honestly, we might not be in Derdriu all that often. I’d hate to drag you closer to danger, but our forces are in dire need of healers.”
Surprisingly, it doesn’t take you long to make a decision. While you are somewhat reluctant to leave your parents without your help, knowing they’re swamped with their own responsibilities, you also prefer to put your efforts into something that feels more in line with your skills and personal goals. All of your old friends and classmates from the Officers Academy are involved in this conflict some way or another—ideally, you want to see an end to this conflict sooner than later, and you want as many of your friends alive and well. That’s enough reason for you to agree to Claude’s request, even if it means jumping from the frying pan and into the fire. If you can help contribute to bringing an end to the conflict currently plagueing Fódlan, then you are going to grasp at that opportunity.
That said, if you thought helping your family was busy, then helping the Leicester Alliance’s forces is downright hectic.
You’re on the road more often than you thought you’d be, traveling between villages that simply require some extra hands to rebuild, to the front lines where a battle is actively being fought so you can patch up your wounded allies. The plus side is that you get to encounter some of your Golden Deer friends from time to time! It’s nice to catch up with them and make sure that they’re doing well (as well as they can be, anyways). You actually end up encountering Raphael pretty often, since he tends to be helping out a lot in war-torn villages and battles. Though he clearly worries about his sister and grandfather, his optimism and enthusiasm is warm and ever-present; your conversations always leave your heart feeling a little lighter. You almost forgot how much you enjoyed talking with him.
Eventually, somehow, you become used to the war… in a way. Your days accumulate into months, months blend into years. There is a sort of routine that you settle into, moving from task to task and stealing moments for yourself in between. You are able to find moments of peace and relaxation amidst the dreariness, which are very necessary to keep you sane and moving forward. Over time, you find yourself reminiscing more often, thinking back on your days at the Officers Academy. When you realize what year it is, you’re flabbergasted. The last time you stepped foot on Monastery grounds was already five years ago. How time flies…
Five years… How come that sounds so significant? Oh! The promise you made to Byleth and your classmates back then—to meet back up at the Monastery after five years, regardless of what happens. Though the Millennium Festival likely won’t be properly celebrated, the day it should be is coming up. Perhaps you can find the time and opportunity to make your way over there. However, it won’t be easy. Garreg Mach Monastery technically fell into the Empire’s control back when the war first started, but the Empire’s presence isn’t as strong there these days with their armies focused elsewhere. At the very least, perhaps you can go to one of the villages near the Monastery to scope the situation out; it wouldn’t be far for you to travel from where you’re currently staying. Maybe you’ll get lucky and encounter one of your old classmates?
Within a few days’ time, you reach a small village that sits not far at all from Garreg Mach. It’s actually the one that you and the others in the Officers Academy would frequent back in the day to do some shopping or eat out at a tavern. The village is much less lively now compared to back then, its residents opting for terse smiles rather than welcoming grins. Without the flow of visitors and merchants, the streets are emptier than you’ve ever seen them. As you stroll down the main street, you hear a commotion break out on the outskirts of the village. Screaming, shouting, the shing! of blades being drawn—your heart leaps into your throat, pounding hard, but you refuse to let fear prevent you from seeing what’s going on and potentially lending a hand.
As you rush to where you hear the disturbance, you catch the sight of a group of bandits terrorizing a couple of the village residents. Unfortunately, it is all too common to encounter bandits stealing anything from basic necessities like food to items such as weapons and valuables. You’re about to create a distraction when their attention is suddenly drawn towards…
You almost don’t believe your eyes when your gaze lands on two figures who have just joined the fray. Is that your missing professor and Dimitri?
— ABILITIES
✦ Class progression
Noble -> Dancer -> Priestess -> Bishop -> Gremory
Your combat classes reflect your strong preference for Faith magic, though your skills in riding and flying are not showcased here as well as they could be. (Valkyrie is one such class, magic wielder on a pegasus—you do sometimes use horses, pegasuses, or wyverns to better transport people if they are injured). Something that not a lot of people can boast about mastering is the Dancer class! Of course, this stems from your fondness of learning various styles of dance. Who knew that your hobby would benefit you in the Officers Academy?
✦ Skills
Strengths:
Faith Magic -> Your best skill. This is a type of magic that encompasses light and healing, which very much aligns with your philosophy of helping and protecting others whenever you can. These abilities come very naturally to you; even if you don’t adhere to any particular religion, you have a certain strength of spirit and willingness to devote yourself to the wellbeing of others, which makes your connection to Faith Magic very strong.
Reason Magic -> You rarely use offensive spells as the idea of harming others doesn’t sit right with you, but you still learn them alongside your primary healing spells. The knowledge is helpful, especially since you can’t ever be sure what kinds of situations you might find yourself in. You want to prioritize healing as much as possible, staying to the edges of the battlefield unless you need to rescue someone, but you also don’t want to be a sitting duck in enemy territory. Besides, in terms of magical theory, learning Reason helps bolster your understanding of Faith.
Riding -> You grew up riding horses, so you have plenty of experience on horseback. You have an innate ability to understand and empathize with animals, which is incredibly important when interacting with animals such as horses (who are often wary and nervous creatures) in the setting of a battlefield or long distance travel.
Flying -> Your budding talent. You actually hadn’t had the chance to interact much with wyverns or pegasuses before coming to Garreg Mach, but you quickly fell in love with them after your first few shifts managing the stables and wyvern grounds. It takes some time to get used to flying in the air with them, with soaring in the sky being a bit daunting, but all in all it isn’t too different from riding horses. You only need a bit of practice before you successfully gain your footing, and you actually find flying to be very useful when scanning a battlefield for any injured comrades.
Weaknesses:
Heavy armor
Brawling
Axes
Given your limited physical strength and your distaste for being in the thick of battle, you simply have no interest in using heavy, unwieldy weapons and armor. It seems far too exhausting and dangerous!
✦ Crest -> Major Crest of Timotheos
According to legend, Crests are a symbol of power that the goddess bestowed to mankind long ago. They are passed down by bloodline, typically through the descendants of the old heroes and saints, who are now nobility. The Crests themselves are divided into “Major Crests” that grant immense power, and “Minor Crests” which are a weaker variant. Not all nobles inherit a Crest and it is not understood when a major or minor Crest is passed down.
You inherited a major Crest of Timotheos, a Crest tied to one of the Four Saints and now considered largely lost to history. After the Rite of Rising failed to revive the Goddess, Timotheos left Garreg Mach and eventually vanished into a hidden forest. The Crest seems to present itself pretty consistently within every generation of your family, so your parents are not at all surprised when you start showing enhanced abilities tied to your bloodline. Notably, Timotheos had a unique affinity with the animal kingdom, being able to summon and converse with birds and other animals, and has been rumored to ride on deer and having a pack of wolves encircle him during battle. Your Crest allows you to befriend animals (and monsters) with ease, and it’s clear that your own affinity for animals definitely echoes that of your ancestor. Connecting with animals has always felt easier than connecting with people, possibly because animals simply expect different things from you. Interacting with them is simpler, more genuine; you often find yourself overwhelmed navigating complex social interactions with other people.
Hapi also bears this Crest, though the two of you are not closely related. You two share a common ancestor in Timotheos, yes, but one of his early descendants set out on their own and settled in Leicester Alliance territory… eventually establishing your family line.
YOUR MATCH IS…
✧ DIMITRI ALEXANDRE BLAIDDYD
✦ REASONING ->
Dimitri fits the type that you tend to gravitate towards romantically. He is kind, chivalrous, protective of his loved ones, and deeply emotional (though he tries to keep this under wraps whenever possible). To add to this, he has his endearing quirks that draw your interest! The awkwardness that sometimes arises when he tries to connect with his peers, his monstrous strength that makes small tasks like sewing difficult, his bashfulness when situations become unexpectedly romantic… You adore the gap between his princely exterior and cuter interior.
Dimitri would do best with someone who is willing to read between the lines and hear what is left unsaid. Full vulnerability and raw honesty terrify him—he keeps his worries buried because he needs to be the capable, dependable leader. He doesn’t believe that he has the right to be weak, lest he bring about more suffering and troubles for his loved ones.
As for you, you seem to do well with those who can provide you some degree of stability. Someone on the mature side who can understand your emotions and help keep you grounded when you’re feeling overwhelmed, someone who is protective and willing to defend you (whether it’s a physical threat or simply a troublesome, annoying situation). You are plenty capable of being independent and self-sufficient, but it can also be nice to have someone capable to rely on when needed, a partner who is willing to stand by you when times are tough.
When Dimitri breaks, brittle with sharp edges, you succeed in piecing him together again. Perhaps you have a bit of a savior complex, a deep-seated desire to make even the “monsters” aware that they can be loved, to be the one to love them when no one else will. No one is inherently undeserving of love, and you have plenty of it to give; your heart just goes out to those who feel like they don’t truly fit in. Still, it works out for the best in this situation. Not everyone is willing or able to support someone like Dimitri when he is struggling with his survivor’s guilt and Edelgard’s actions… but you’re determined to put in the effort to bring him back to the present and keep him grounded. He doesn’t need to make himself suffer.
— FIRST MEETING -> Ever since starting your training at the Officers Academy, you have seen him in passing—he can be hard to miss, with his tall stature and the distinct blue cape that designates him as the head of the Blue Lions. (Plus, he is quite handsome… You wouldn’t consider yourself to be easily smitten by others on appearance alone, but you would be lying if you didn’t find him to be attractive.) At most, you’ve gotten a polite nod and greeting from him, but no proper conversations. Nevertheless, the first time you formally meet Dimitri is when you transfer to his House.
Given the fact that you’re transferring halfway through the year, Byleth has you introduce yourself to everyone on your first day with the Blue Lions. It feels a bit silly, but it makes sense. Dimitri greets you with a warm smile: “Welcome to the Blue Lions. I wasn’t expecting someone to transfer into our class! I hope it isn’t hard for you to settle in and find a place here. If you have any concerns, do not hesitate to let me know.”
As the House leader, Dimitri feels responsible for making sure you feel welcomed. He imagines it might be a bit daunting switching Houses part way through the year, especially since one’s House at the Officers Academy typically denotes their residency. But it appears his worries are unnecessary—you get along with everyone quite easily, and it really doesn’t take that long for you to find your place among your new classmates! Dimitri’s early impressions of you are that you’re intelligent, elegant, friendly, and compassionate. You have a very warm, comforting aura that he can’t help but be drawn towards. Plus, you abide by his wishes to not treat him formally just because he’s royalty, which he deeply appreciates! Dimitri prefers to have casual, friendly bonds with his classmates when possible, but sometimes it seems hard for others to drop the formalities around him. He understands why that is the case, but that doesn’t stop him from being happy whenever someone approaches him as a friend instead.
— BONDING -> It does not take long at all before the two of you are good friends, which should not come as a surprise. Generally speaking, both of you are the type that gets along quite well with others, and you both have interest in connecting with others—to add to that, your personalities are very compatible. Similarities that you two share include being calm and level-headed, courteous and kind. Your lighthearted teasing pairs well with Dimitri’s tendency to get bashfully embarrassed without actually taking any ribbing to heart. When not preoccupied with his own concerns, Dimitri is quite steady, emotionally, which helps keep you grounded in moments where you feel overwhelmed. He has a very pragmatic way of looking at things, as well, which helps you keep things in perspective. Dimitri can see the softer parts of himself in you, and you can see the bolder parts of yourself in him.
One beloved pastime of those attending the Officers Academy is tea time! Of course, this is something you and Dimitri partake in quite often together. Typically, he lets you decide on the tea and snacks—with his ageusia, he doesn’t have much of an opinion either way (this is something you notice after a while, as he seems to avoid making any specific comments on the taste of whatever tea you’ve picked out). Still, indulging in your company and sipping on warm tea is very enjoyable in his eyes. Other things the two of you enjoy doing together is reading, horseback riding, and gardening. He feels that he has much to learn from you when it comes to caring for plants, so he is always very studiously asking questions and dutifully following your advice.
— PINING -> Dimitri’s growing bond with you makes him realize that he really craves comfort and closeness with someone, which is a bit embarrassing to admit to himself. Honestly speaking, he’s a bit of a hopeless romantic deep down. There are many times where he imagines the two of you holding hands and taking a stroll in picturesque gardens, or snuggling in front of a crackling fire with a thick blanket wrapped around both your shoulders. He imagines cupping your face in his hands and bestowing the sweetest of kisses upon your lips… Ah, he really needs to stop getting ahead of himself! But all of that is a lengthy way to show that he is the lovesick, hopelessly pining type when he has feelings for you.
While he holds his tongue when it comes to his feelings, they are (unfortunately, for him) a bit obvious. Dimitri flusters a little more easily, cheeks and ears pink whenever you affectionately tease him or when you get a little too close while you two are busy with assigned tasks. As much as he wants to confess, it doesn’t quite feel like the right time. There are a few times he almost confesses, but for now, he is content being in your presence as your friend.
Things are put on hold after the war starts, with both of you returning to your respective hometowns. Neither of you have much time to dwell on your feelings, as there are more pressing matters at hand. Then, after you meet him again, he’s a shell of who he used to be: haunted, guarded, cold, with a deep-seated desire for revenge. It is clear that he isn’t in the right state of mind to give or accept affection.
But gradually, as your old Blue Lions classmates lead the resistance against the imperial forces, as Dimitri is faced with the possible consequences if he lets revenge consume him completely, as you refuse to leave his side until he stops his self-destructive warpath… gradually, Dimitri softens again. He focuses on the present rather than the past, he lets himself actually see you and his friends. Much of his time is spent apologizing and making sure that everyone has the best chances of coming out of this feud alive, and he starts gravitating towards you again. His pining for you now is softer, almost hesitant; he isn’t sure if you would still be interested in him after everything. He isn’t sure if he knows how to love gently in a way that you deserve. But, oh, he just can’t seem to stay away from you. Let him bask in your warmth and compassion for a while longer, please.
— CONFESSION AND FIRST KISS -> With the way that everything unfolds—your late transfer to the Blue Lions, Dimitri’s deteriorating mental state, the war—Dimitri does not confess to you until the war is nearly over. He is back in his right mind, with a clarity he hasn’t had in a long time. But there are still battles that must be waged; the idea of potentially losing any of his friends is deeply unsettling, but he knows he would be especially devastated if he lost you. But such is his dilemma: does he wait until everything is done before confessing to you, so a potentially happy moment between you two isn’t colored by the threat of danger? Or does he go ahead and confess in case he doesn’t have the chance afterwards?
It’s a question he agonizes over for a while. Too much has slipped through his fingers too early, so he wants to try and keep hold of all the good left in his life. But he doesn’t want to potentially distract you, or (in a manner that is a bit superstitious) to bring some misfortune upon you two. Eventually, he comes to a very decisive conclusion: it is better to confess now before he loses the chance.
Preparations for the final battle against Edelgard in Enbarr take a fair amount of time. This will be the decisive battle, the potential end to imperial conquest. Days are spent organizing supplies, training, ensuring the journey to Enbarr is as smooth as possible. Evenings are for rest and healing, for quiet moments between allies. Dimitri’s army is currently occupying a fort you’ve all claimed, making use of the building to stay protected from the elements and potential sieges.
One particular evening, you’re by yourself in a small parlor. There’s an open book on your lap, though your eyes keep leaving the inked words and drifting to gaze out of the window beside you. A lantern sits on a small table, casting a flickering glow over you and this corner of the room; your cup of tea has long gone cold. As nice as it is to have a moment of respite, your thoughts can’t help but latch onto the upcoming battle.
A soft knock sounds on the door, and it opens after a beat. Dimitri pokes his head in, and his expression softens when he sees you sitting there.
“Are you alright?” His question is soft, befitting of the subdued atmosphere within the room. He softly closes the door behind him, creating a little space just for the two of you.
You give him a tired but agreeable smile. “I’m okay, just a bit tired.”
Dimitri nods with a short hum, glad that you aren’t hiding yourself away out of distress. He steps up beside you, taking the only other seat in the small parlor. In comfortable silence, he takes in the scenery for a while, the room’s furnishings half-bathed in the shadow of night. Perhaps now would be a good time…
Gently, he slides his hand over and covers yours; his palm is warm against the back of your hand. When you look up at him, his gaze is on you, intense with an undeniable affection.
“There is something I have been meaning to tell you for a long time, and I feel I should get this off of my chest before we set out in the next couple days. Time and again, you have been by my side, even when I didn’t deserve it. My heart has been fond of you ever since our days in the Academy… and those feelings have only grown stronger now that we have reunited, and after everything we have been through. You are dearly important to me, and I have a hard time fathoming not being by your side. I’ll put it simply: I love you.”
The words surprise you, and yet you have to admit that they’re ones that you’ve been wanting to hear deep down. You accept his confession and bashfully return it with one of your own, revealing the feelings you have had for him all this time. The almost-shy smile that appears on Dimitri’s face is enough to melt you further, your heart squeezing with happiness in your chest. Dimitri clasps his hand around yours, pulling you towards him as he leans in; his lips meet yours, a chaste kiss that deepens after a moment. It’s a kiss full of yet-to-be spoken promises, a kiss of apologies and gratitude for all the days, good and bad, that you have spent by each other’s sides.
You each now have one more thing to fight for and protect in the coming days. For better or worse, the final battle of Enbarr will be a defining moment for your future.
✦ ADDITIONAL HEADCANONS ->
When it comes to relocating to Faerghus after the war… Ah, poor you! Much of this nation is cold and wintery, and you find yourself missing warmer weather quite often. Still, if it’s to be close to your partner and friends, you are willing to tough it out. At least the hearth is warm, and you have ample access to cozy blankets.
Dimitri has a huge soft spot for you, and can never tell you no. Thankfully, you’re not the type to make unreasonable requests… though his home is filled with far more plants and animals than he ever expected. But they make you happy and they’re all well taken care of, so Dimitri would let you have as many as you want.
Oh, the two of you absolutely dote on each other. Acts of service seems to be the go-to love language for you two. You help him get ready for his day, making sure he has all he needs whenever he is busy with political meetings and re-establishing the foundation of Fódlan—likewise, Dimitri makes sure that you’re able to unwind and relax in the evenings, practically waiting on you hand and foot. You are his beloved, and he insists that he takes care of you. To those that happen to oversee, it’s pure devotion.
✦ SHIP TROPES ->
-> “You shouldn’t love me” x “I want to love you”
-> Physical protector x Emotional support
-> Elegant, noble couple
✦ ENDING CARD ->
Not long after celebrating the end of the war, you get to celebrate your engagement to Dimitri. The news of your engagement creates an excited buzz amongst your peers, sentiments ranging from “it’s about time they got engaged” to “wait, since when were they together?” Regardless, it is something that is welcomed by both your friends and the people of Fódlan. The newly-crowned king of Faerghus and his betrothed are as devoted to improving life for the people as much as they are devoted to each other. Positions of leadership can be a burden, but the bond between you and Dimitri keeps each of you feeling light and hopeful.
✦ OTHER MATCH CONSIDERATIONS -> Ferdinand von Aegir, Yuri Leclerc.
✧ RELATIONSHIP WITH…
— FERDINAND VON AEGIR -> The first time you meet Ferdinand is when you both end up on stable duty at the same time. He really catches your eye! As you’re walking up to the stables, you spot the regal young man speaking softly to the horses while carefully grooming their manes, and he offers you the brightest smile when he notices you at the entrance. It does not take long at all for a friendship to develop between you two! Ferdinand is courteous, kind, and a solid conversationalist—he is very easy to talk to (even if he can be a little vain and oblivious at times), and your personalities pair together quite well. Even outside of assigned stable duty, the two of you often care for the animals in the stables together in your free time.
You bond over your love of animals, horseback riding, and tea. More often than not, the time you two spend together consists of horseback rides or quiet tea parties. Ferdinand often remarks that it is a shame that you’re not in the Black Eagles House, but he also sees that you fit quite well within the Golden Deer (and later the Blue Lions). As proud as he can be of his noble status and the fact that he is part of the Black Eagles, he can admit that the dynamics within the House can be a little… tense and difficult to navigate. While in your Officers Academy days, he insists that you two find time to meet up once you graduate! He would love to see where you grew up, and he would love to host you at House Aegir. (But then, of course, everything with the war prevents that from coming to fruition).
In regards to the war, Ferdinand chooses not to side with the Empire. Some time after the forces from Faerghus start coming together after taking back Garreg Mach, Ferdinand shows up offering his assistance. Edelgard had stripped House Aegir of everything following Ludwig's house arrest, and he doesn’t fully agree with her methods—he feels that he must do something, so he joins your group. Ferdinand is absolutely delighted to see that you are alive and well, though, and is happy that he can once again spend time with you! He’s a bit more mellow than he used to be while he was a knight-in-training, a little more serious, but the core of him is still the same.
Over time, Ferdinand becomes a very dear friend to you. Honestly, for a long time, he can’t quite figure out if he has a crush on you or not. Perhaps if he was able to spend a bit more time with you without your affections being captured by another, his feelings would have bloomed in full.
— YURI LECLERC -> You encounter Yuri when Byleth and a few of your classmates end up getting involved with everything that is happening with Aelfric and the Abyss. While he appears charming at first glance, it’s obvious that his guardedness and sharp way of speaking is meant to keep others at arm’s length. As curious as you are about him, you hesitate to try bonding with him too much too quickly—especially when it isn’t clear where exactly his loyalties lie at first. This hesitance is quick to melt away once the matter is settled and Yuri plus his little group are allowed the opportunity to be students if they wish.
Because he still tends to spend a decent amount of time in the Abyss making sure the people there are well taken care of, you don’t see him too often. Still, whenever he’s around, you make it a point to greet him and see how he’s doing. However, it does take a while for a proper bond to develop; he is cautious to a fault, and you sometimes have a hard time pinning down how genuine he’s being. Yuri is pretty sure your kindness and empathy are sincere, but he feels like he can’t be too sure… you’re almost too nice. But, over time, you manage to get him to soften up to you. You genuinely care about the well-being of the Abyssians, and you have a humble heart despite your upper class background.
(Oh, Yuri falls hard once he’s comfortable, and it happens towards the end of your time at the Officers Academy. However, he keeps his crush under wraps. “Perhaps I’ll tell her later on,” is what he always tells himself, knowing you’d be returning home after leaving the Monastery. But then, once you all meet again years later to try and end the Empire’s conquest of Fódlan, he is quick to realize that you and a certain fallen prince have feelings for each other.)
Yuri has no strong opinions on your eventual relationship with Dimitri. He’s a fine option, and you are definitely good for him. The Savage Mockingbird knows well that not everything will work out in his favor, so he doesn’t dwell on the sting of unrequited love for very long. He still has to take care of his people, after all, so he’ll remain plenty occupied.
— INGRID BRANDL GALATEA -> Ingrid becomes one of your closest friends within the Blue Lions, and is actually one of your closest friends from the Officers Academy as a whole. Your friendship develops as you end up spending a lot of time with her while caring for the horses, pegasuses, and wyverns; though you’re both busy with your respective tasks, chit-chat seems to naturally happen. Ingrid finds herself deeply appreciating your presence, in part because she hasn’t had the chance to make very many female friends! She gets along well with both Mercedes and Annette, but those two have been close friends since before coming to Garreg Mach, so Ingrid didn’t want to intrude between them too much. On the other hand, you’re eager to make new friends since you came to Garreg Mach without any prior friendships besides Ignatz, and now you’re properly meeting most of the Blue Lions for the first time halfway through the year.
Ingrid admires your compassion and patience, while you admire her strength of spirit and humility. Both of you are very down-to-earth, so it’s easy to see eye to eye on things. Since you share a few interests, you two always have something to do together. Ingrid loves animals, and she is honored if she ever gets the chance to meet your pets back home! Horseback riding is a common pastime for you both, and it’s always nice to get out in nature for a while. The two of you also often recommend books to each other, keeping your reading lists full.
Despite the distance between your hometowns, Ingrid keeps in touch with you the best during the war. Not that you two are constantly in touch, of course, but you hear from her fairly regularly. It makes you miss her terribly for those five years; you know that her family isn’t in a good financial position, but Ingrid isn’t the type to talk about it. You hope that she is managing to stay safe and sound during the war. When you two meet again later at Garreg Mach, the two of you share a tight hug and are nearly inseparable!
Ingrid is very happy for both you and Dimitri when the two of you start a relationship—she cares a lot about both of you, and she thinks you’re perfect for the future king of Faerghus!
— FELIX HUGO FRALDARIUS -> Felix is sharp edges and harsh words personified. He is not here to make friends; there are things he must do, skills he has to hone, and anything else is just a waste of his time. And yet, you meet him with a patience and understanding that few do. While Felix tends to be a little gentler with those he considers sweet and endearing, getting to know him is still not the easiest task. When you first join the Blue Lions, you do not go out of your way to interact with him as you don’t want to create too many waves. You keep things polite, but you both keep each other at arm’s length for a while. Nevertheless, you don’t immediately discredit his guarded attitude that tends to keep most people away. Surely there is a reason for it!
The way he speaks about Dimitri catches your attention, though. His childhood friendship with Dimitri, Ingrid, and Sylvain is something that you learn about fairly early on (thanks to discussions with Ingrid and Dimitri), but you aren’t privy to all the nuances of their individual dynamics. What’s the reason for his hostility? Why does he act like the crown prince of Faerghus is just a ticking time bomb? But as time goes on, you start seeing what he’s wary about when it comes to Dimitri, with the crown prince being plagued by survivor’s guilt and betrayal that has slowly been driving him to madness. Clearly, Felix had seen something that took everyone else that much longer to realize—perhaps it’s due to his long history with Dimitri, or maybe he’s just perceptive and intuitive enough to pick up the subtle signs.
It takes some time for you to truly bond with Felix, but he becomes a protective older brother figure in your eyes! This is especially the case anywhere near a battlefield, as he knows you’re not a fighter—but in less dire situations, his protectiveness shows in the way that he is quick to step in if anyone seems even slightly rude to you, and he helps with any task that is a little too physically strenuous (such as toting heavy crates of supplies or weapons into the Monastery or the royal castle in Fhirdiad). For Felix, you are a place of solace. You’re sweet and understanding, and as much as he resists being seen as vulnerable, he can’t help but let his guard down around you. You’re his go-to person if he has any of his own troubles.
Once you get together with Dimtri, Felix insists that you let him know if he isn’t treating you well (and says he’ll keep a close eye on you two anyways).
— SYLVAIN JOSE GAUTIER -> Oh, Sylvain. You have a distaste for incessant, bothersome flirting—and this particular redhead tends to flirt with any woman who catches his eye. However, Annette and Mercedes are good at blocking his advances from you; they feel it’s their responsibility to help you, their dear friend, avoid the hassle of dealing with the bad habits of one of your new classmates. (Sylvain is not saved from a few side-eyes from you when he pesters you, though). However, it actually isn’t long before he starts treating you like a normal classmate. You never took his bait, and you don’t seem at all interested in being with him romantically; he figures he doesn’t need to prove a point around you, especially after he sees that you are probably one of the most genuine, compassionate people that he has met in a while.
Something you appreciate about Sylvain is that he’s actually much more thoughtful and intelligent than he initially appears. Once the two of you are friends, he is happy to lend an ear and offer advice if you need it. He is the type of person who doesn’t worry much about things, so his perspective can be very grounding and helpful if you happen to be worrying about something a little more nebulous and unsure. Sylvain isn’t as overtly protective over you as Felix is, but he still tends to keep an eye on you whenever you’re out and about in town together or on the battlefield; he just doesn’t hover, allowing you to handle things yourself and only stepping in when necessary.
When you and Dimitri get together, Sylvain jokingly laments that he “missed his chance” to win your heart—but really, he is truly happy for you both! He thinks that you’re both good fits for each other, especially after Dimitri starts processing his trauma and pulls himself back together during the war.
— DEDUE MOLINARO -> Dedue is very protective of his liege, and after everything that has happened he wants the best for Dimitri. He may have mixed feelings about Faerghus as a whole, he believes that Dimitri deserves some good in his life. Thankfully, he is a reasonable judge of character. You are very true to yourself, especially with your desire to welcome and support as many people as you can—Dedue hopes this kindness of yours can somehow, someway, help Dimitri with everything that weighs on the crown prince’s shoulders. Dedue often tries to decline kindness that you extend to him, as he worries that others might look down on you for associating with him. You can be a bit stubborn, though! You see no reason why he should not be welcomed and included in things just as everyone else.
Dedue is someone that is very reciprocal when it comes to goodwill or favors. So, any time you are kind to him, you can expect him to try and repay that. Dedue often extends his assistance to you in case you ever need it. It doesn’t matter if it’s something big or small—need some help moving heavy equipment? He can handle it. Looking for someone? He should be able to track them down shortly. Want some extra hands in the kitchen when you (unfortunately) end up on cooking duty for everyone? He’s quite adept at that! This continues after you and Dimitri get together; he may be the prince’s retainer, but he should take care of Dimitri’s partner as well.
Over time, Dedue ends up viewing you as a younger sister. He tries not to dwell on them too much, but he misses his mother and sister a lot. The two of you often tend to the greenhouse and gardens together, and he enjoys cooking for you if you’ll let him.
AH ( ˶°ㅁ°) !! I received several tags... Thanks for including me!! Everything will be below the cut!

Fandoms I can see you in...
Twisted Wonderland → It is comprised of a colorful cast of characters, many of whom I believe would get along very well with you! You're sweet and patient, but not overly tolerant of bad behavior, which is honestly the key to dealing with most of those punks. There is a lot of potential for the hurt and comfort genre, both from a platonic and a romantic standpoint. (And I know you will definitely lean heavily into the comfort!) Besides that, the magical school setting gives way to interesting (sometimes ridiculous) slice-of-life moments, which plays well with your desire for a peaceful yet enjoyable life.
KHR → A surprisingly lighthearted, goofy series despite the fact that it deals with mafia families full of characters with supernatural powers. This cast also has a wide range of personalities, and I believe you would find yourself a solid group of friends... and several potential suitors! The hectic shenanigans would spice up your life a bit, but not majorly disrupt it. It's the type of universe that has a lot of chaos going on at first, then mellows out. With the way the power system and the mafia are set up, you can lean into the idea of protecting others and making the world a better place, but not have too much on your shoulders.
FE3H → Historical settings with fantasy elements very much suit the side of you that yearns for a simple yet whimsical life. This particular story can get rather dark at times, but there is still much potential for happy endings. This is also a cast of characters that I think you would get along well with as a whole, and even if there are characters you might have conflict with, it would be an interesting dynamic nonetheless. You would stand out for your pacifism and desire for helping others, which is incredibly important in a story whose main theme is warfare to achieve a goal. Regardless which route you choose, your voice would hold weight.
Kuroko no Basuke → With the way that the sports teams are portrayed in this series, compared to other sports anime, I feel your skills when it comes to putting together strategies and managing rowdy classmates shines best here! There is so much opportunity to indulge in fun slice-of-life activities, while also dealing with the excitement and stress of a high school sports team.

MHA → One thing MHA does decently is delve into how heroism and villainy are two sides of the same coin. Anyone can become a hero; anyone can become a villain. You would probably really enjoy getting to interact directly with much of the cast, to figure out their mindset and beliefs in the setting of their hero society. Here, you have the flexibility to remain on the sidelines or push for a more major role. You can be as ambitious as you want, and there are many paths available to you. I feel you would get along more with the side characters than main characters, and therefore flesh them out through interactions with them.
Gachiakuta → The primary setting leaves much to be desired. However! It feels like a lot of characters lean on the emotional and often impulsive side, especially as their default personality. Meanwhile, your reserved and level-headed nature would bring a balance to the rest of the main cast. It's not that you aren't emotional, though; just like everyone else in this series, you have your hangups and your passions. There are a lot of moving pieces in this series, a mystery that has layers—perhaps your thoughtful musings about the key players and interesting events may help point Rudo in the right direction.
Bungou Stray Dogs → It has been ages since I've last touched this series, but from what I remember, it is one that blends mystery, drama, emotional exploration, and growth. There is no shortage of things for your brain to chew on (from curious events to complex personalities), and a series like this would highlight the more emotional, contemplative, and vulnerable sides of your personality. You will be analyzed as much as you analyze others, and perhaps your dynamics with the other characters would prove quite interesting.
Blue Lock → Much of Blue Lock is focused on the rat race masquerading as football training, but your presence in this series would bring an additonal "(half) outsider perspective" that would benefit the series. Harsher than Anri, softer than Ego, and closer to the main casts' ages. A peer to the Blue Lockers, yet not a peer. If Ego wants his goal to be met, perhaps someone needs to help bring a bit more guidance and data to the ones trying to kick their football skills up a notch.

Fandoms I can see you in...
Baldur's Gate 3 → A story full of drama and tension and danger, but with a good ending very much within reach! Each character has a goal, needing to figure out a balance between helping the group and serving themselves. You would fit well here, being able to take the lead of this rag-tag (and admittedly difficult) group. You have your strong exterior and a more sensitive interior, which allows for interesting dynamics with the main cast.
Genshin Impact → You have a good heart and a strong sense of justice—these traits generally pair well with the overarching themes and plot, especially if you're someone the Traveler meets on their journey. There are so many places you could be established, and your personality would play well with many of the other characters regardless which region you're in. Still, there are many events that happen, decisions that are made, that are neither purely good nor evil. Make your choices wisely.
Jujutsu Kaisen → This series would end up highlighting the more emotional parts of you quite well. Yes, it's a shonen with plenty of action scenes, and yet... Surprisingly contemplative at times. Your passion, your insecurities, the deep-seated desire to improve yourself so you don't fall short of your (or anyone else's) expectations—it all plays a role here. You have a desire to create a better world for others, so you'll certainly have your hands full in this world.
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure → Chock full of intense personalities and one wild plot point after the next, you seem like you would be right at home here! There are plenty of characters you could befriend, some that would be rivals or enemies. You may get extremely overwhelmed and frazzled at times, but you will have moments of peace and fun as well.
Thank you very much for participating, my dear! (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ ♡
This moodboard is hilarious to me in a good way, because if you change FE3H to JJK, you got 4 fandoms that changed my life and/or I was obsessed over for such a long time that it feels like I lived in them, LMAO. The explanations are amazing, and I do absolutely adore all fandoms you mentioned in your moodboard. Thank you again for another piece of " Raven reading my mind" art, dear! I really love all fandoms and explanations you included, and admire your ability to understand people. You are amazing! ♡
⇢ ♡ You fit into...
♡ Honestly, I don't have just one type of fandoms I think you fit into the most. Perhaps it's because you have a very strong-minded and adventurous nature that would get bored of being stuck in only one particular environment. So I think that the type of fandoms you fit into the most are the stories filled with various worlds and characters to make you travel and enjoy different cultures!
♡ With you being Raven, with Lilia as your match, with so many characters you would get along with, with various counties to travel to, with its own adventures, and with the dark academia setting, Twisted Wonderland naturally becomes the fandom you fit into perfectly. Even if it has a bit different vibes from other fandoms of this moodboard, I still can't separate you from TWST. Especially with you being a nocturnal fae from Diasomnia, you naturally fit into the cast as if you literally are a part of the canon story. You would have a lot of fun hanging out with characters, would find many friends and admirers, and many opportunities for mischief and traveling!
♡ Durarara is the fandom that not necessarily is the fandom you fit into the most, but embodies your vibes perfectly. Urban fantasy with mafia, motorcycles, and independent characters who have their own story. You would merge into this city, and get your own story, being a character who like Izaya enjoys the drama around from afar and has the ability to get into trouble without meaning to.
♡ Love and Deepspace still is the fandom I believe you fit into perfectly! You would work absolutely wonderful with all love interests (the way you were matched with each of them at least once), and the other part of the cast. The world-building leaves you a room for endless fun from traveling through time and galaxies to adrenaline, chases, fights, and adventures. And if you ever get tired, you can draw with Rafayel, play games with Xavier, try to prank Sylus with Luke and Kieran, or eat sweets with Zayne. You would become a wonderful MC that still gets into many troubles, yet solves them with humor and a cool head.
♡ Honkai Star Rail fits my vision of a perfect fandom for you to a tee! Various universes from historical settings to big and chaotic cities, many opportunities for getting into trouble and adventures, many characters you would get along with, many admirers who would pine after you from their planet while you are traveling through the cosmos. This is the universe where you never get bored, because there always are new places to travel to, new paths to explore, and new people to have fun with.
♡ When it comes to fandoms that I would be happy to see in your list of fandoms, it's still Tokyo Debunker and Servamp. I hope that you will give both of them a chance eventually, but without any pressure, of course.
♡ Tokyo Debunker is a dark academia setting, urban fantasy, a big cast with many new crushes, a twisted story with many mysteries that keep you interested, investigations, anomalies cute and scary, mystical creatures like merman or vampire, and many opportunities for new exchanges, of course (since fandom is slowly but surely getting more and more popular among matchup writers, hehe).
♡ Servamp is many KHR references (Italian mafia, Dino, Hibari and his hedgehog, because author is a big KHR fan), dark fantasy about vampires who can turn into cute animals, various cast from shut-in otaku to prince, from mad scientists to werewolves, solving the mystery of Servamps, not so many opportunities for exchanges, but a fun read!
Hehe ( ˶˘ ³˘)♡ It's pretty funny I ended up picking such life-changing fandoms for you, but I think they just reflect both your personality as well as your preferences so well—it's so natural to imagine you in them!
AH I loooove the variety in the fandoms that you picked!! I definitely agree that I need something that allows for changes of pace/scenery/interesting events, and all of these fandoms would provide that! (Ah, I adore DRRR so much, I miss it! Hehe). HSR especially, since we quite literally hop from one world to the next. L&DS and TWST would both be such cute, lighthearted (mostly?) settings too, and I'd really love interacting with many of those characters.
Tokyo Debunker and Servamp!! They do really seem like fandoms I'd end up enjoying... I will get there one day, lol!

WOWZA! Interesting selection, though I can't say I disagree~ You're so right about BSD and BLLK!!
Incoming rambles for MHA and Gachiakuta:
MHA's writing is still too black-and-white for me, but the worldbuilding regarding quirks and its impacts on society is very interesting. You're so right about me getting along better with the side characters than the main ones lmao. Shinso and Monoma are some of my favs!
Gachiakuta is the most surprising and interesting choice here! Having a more reserved and level-headed person in the cast would make for interesting dynamics for sure! The audience shock when I show my freaky side would be so fun (just wait for when I meet Jabber). Gachiakuta's mystery is so interesting, I would definitely be invested!
> I can see you in...
Gachiakuta - This is here for the same reason you wrote for me LMAO. Someone on the reserved and intellectual side would add such a good flavour to the cast. Rudo and his team have travelled a lot from arc to arc, which reminded me of how you get the urge to go on little adventures sometimes. Also~ I can see your alternative style translating well to Gachiakuta's grungy apocalyptic setting.
Dungeon Meshi - My choice for a fandom that honors your high fantasy vibe. Dungeon meshi has lots of adventuring (DnD inspired setting) and food. So much food. So I can totally see you having fun as an adventurer in this show!! I can see you being an elf too, hm hm.
The Case Study of Vanitas - Another fantasy series with vampires and a steampunk aesthetic. Tbh I haven't watched this show (or Dungeon Meshi ahem) but from what I know about it, it might have the same vibes as Black Butler. Plus Vanitas seems like the kind of character you would have a crush on, so there's potential for romance there~
Black Butler - Iirc you said this manga embodies you and yeah, I can see it. Dark supernatural elements, angsty storylines balanced with funny moments and characters. I can kinda see you as a demon bored after centuries of life, so the souls of "interesting and fun" pact makers taste the best to you lol. Or maybe you would be a human who made a pact with a demon out of boredom? The possibilities are endless~
> I would recommend checking out:
Tokyo Debunker - Set in an urban fantasy, magic school setting with a wider world reminiscent of dark and mysterious JJK. There's a wide cast of colourful personalities to follow (25 students) and lots of lore to uncover. *Dangles Sho in front of you like bait* Good cook, diva, has a semi-sentient motorcycle~~ If Sho isn't enough to entice you, his friend Leo who has a stronger character and is even more of a diva might.
Woohoo! (˶ˆ꒳ˆ˵) I'm glad you found the picks interesting!
I personally think MHA's writing became more nuanced as the series went on (especially the last 2 seasons, tho I think so much more could've been done with the LoV and the theme of what redemption can look like) BUT at the same time, yeah, it is very classically... superpower shonen LMAO. It be what it be. Monoma is super fun, he's one of my favs too!
Your sense of smell... RIP LMAO. On the other hand, I have a pretty keen nose. Nose blindness is a thing, though, so I can only hope I get used to it a certain degree?
I am really digging the fandoms you picked for me, and the explanations definitely fit, hehe. I can see myself in tnem!! (Ooh demon Raven in Black Butler... I have yet to have a solid self-insert but that idea is definitely one I've tossed around before). Dungeon Meshi and Vanitas have actually been on my to-watch list for ages. Alas, I have to be in a specific mood to sit down and get into a new series tho, so it has been a while... But! Case Study of Vanitas was written by the same author who wrote Pandora Hearts (which is one of my fav series) so I am curious to see if I'll enjoy it just as much! Dungeon Meshi just seems so entertaining, I think it'd be a very good feel-good show to watch as a whole.

HIYAA RAVEN!! Thank you so much for this lovely masterpiece hehe, I can see the vision as to why you’d see me in these fandoms. I think I can definitely enjoy being in all of these universes LMAO. Especially JJBA, Genshin Impact, and JJK. These descriptions are definitely convincing me LMAO
Now onto yours…
Fandoms I’d think you fit best in…
Death Note → You’re one of the few people who could comfortably exist in a world built around manipulation, intellect, conflicting ideologies, and moral ambiguity without getting emotionally overwhelmed by it. You naturally analyze people’s motivations and mindsets, which is basically the fuel that powers the entire series. Rather than immediately judging characters as good or bad, you’d probably spend most of your time trying to understand why they think the way they do. Your tolerance for different viewpoints would make the philosophical debates incredibly enjoyable for you. You also have the confidence and independence necessary to avoid blindly following someone else’s beliefs, which is one of the biggest themes throughout the story. Your bluntness and tendency to challenge authority would fit right in among a cast full of people constantly testing each other’s limits. The fact that you’re comfortable with confrontation and don’t scare easily would also help you navigate the tension-filled atmosphere. You’d probably enjoy the psychological chess matches more than the actual murders. Even your sense of humor would help balance out the darker elements of the series. Most importantly, Death Note rewards people who think for themselves, and that’s one of your defining traits.
Fran Bow → Beneath the horror aesthetics, this is a story full of strange worlds, bizarre logic, psychological themes, and unconventional perspectives on reality. Your offbeat way of viewing situations would make the surreal nature of the game incredibly enjoyable rather than confusing. You’re someone who genuinely enjoys unusual experiences and isn’t easily rattled by weirdness, which makes you a natural fit. Instead of being frightened by the strange creatures and environments, you’d probably become fascinated by them and want to understand how everything works. Your absurdist outlook on life also meshes surprisingly well with the game’s dreamlike atmosphere. You tend to accept unusual circumstances and adapt rather than panic, which is exactly how someone survives Fran’s world. The psychological themes would likely appeal to your interest in analyzing people and motivations. You’d probably spend hours theorizing about symbolism, meanings, and character psychology. At the same time, your sense of humor would allow you to appreciate the weirdness rather than become overwhelmed by it. Fran Bow feels like the type of game that would constantly keep your curiosity engaged.
Alice: Madness Returns → This series combines psychological themes, dark fantasy, rebellion, self-discovery, and striking visual creativity—all things that seem right up your alley. You value individuality and freedom more than almost anything else, and Alice’s entire journey revolves around reclaiming control over herself and her own reality. You’d probably appreciate how the story doesn’t shy away from difficult topics while still maintaining its unique identity. Your love of fantasy AUs, dark aesthetics, alternative fashion, and complex characters makes the overall vibe feel very compatible with your tastes. Even Alice herself shares certain similarities with you: independence, resilience, stubbornness, and an unwillingness to simply accept what others tell her. The darker atmosphere would also likely appeal to your preference for psychological stories over straightforward horror. You’d probably spend a ridiculous amount of time admiring the environmental design and analyzing the symbolism hidden throughout Wonderland. Your artistic hobbies would also make the visual storytelling especially rewarding. Overall, the combination of individuality, creativity, and psychological depth makes this fandom feel like a very natural fit.
Reverse 1999 → This game is full of eccentric personalities, historical influences, philosophical themes, and morally gray characters. Your interest in history, languages, travel, and understanding different perspectives feels tailor-made for the setting. The cast is filled with unusual people who march to the beat of their own drum, which is exactly the type of character you tend to enjoy. You would probably have a field day analyzing everyone’s motivations and relationships. The game also embraces weirdness without apologizing for it, something that aligns strongly with your own tendency to prioritize authenticity over conformity. Your appreciation for change and variety would keep you engaged as the story constantly jumps between different eras and locations. Since you’re not particularly sentimental and prefer looking at situations logically, you’d likely appreciate the nuanced moral dilemmas throughout the narrative. The mixture of historical references, psychological themes, beautiful aesthetics, and eccentric humor feels almost custom-built for someone with your interests. Honestly, out of every fandom listed here, Reverse: 1999 might be one of your strongest fits.
Fandoms I’d recommend for you!
IMPORTANT NOTE: A lot of these recommended fandoms are very disturbing or contain a lot of uncomfortable content that may not be suitable for any matchups, specifically for the walten files… these are only recommendations so please be take this with caution!
The Evillous Chronicles → This series is filled with morally gray characters, political intrigue, historical inspirations, tragedy, psychological themes, and complex character motivations. Since you love analyzing people and understanding why they make certain choices, this franchise would give you endless material to work with. It also rewards paying attention to details, symbolism, and connections between stories. If you enjoy piecing together lore and examining morally questionable decisions, you’ll probably have a fantastic time.
Akudama Drive → This anime is feels perfectly aligned with your chaotic neutral energy. The entire cast consists of criminals, rebels, and people who refuse to conform to society’s expectations. Your appreciation for freedom, individuality, and people who live authentically would make many of the characters incredibly appealing. The series also balances action, humor, emotional moments, and stylish aesthetics very well. Since you enjoy thrill-seeking and unusual experiences, you’d likely find yourself drawn to the adrenaline-fueled atmosphere.
The Walten Files → This is genuinely an interesting choice if you’re interested in psychological mystery. While it contains horror elements, much of the appeal comes from uncovering lore, solving mysteries, and analyzing hidden details rather than relying solely on scares. You seem far more interested in understanding why things happen than simply reacting emotionally to them, which is exactly the mindset that makes this fandom enjoyable. Your tendency to analyze motivations and piece together information would make theory crafting especially fun.
Dead Plate → Dead Plate seems like something you’d enjoy because of its character dynamics, dark humor, psychological themes, and morally questionable cast. The story thrives on tension, banter, and complicated relationships. Since you enjoy teasing dynamics, rivalry-based relationships, and characters who don’t always behave like perfect people, there’s a good chance you’d find the interactions entertaining. The atmosphere also balances seriousness with absurdity in a way that feels very compatible with your sense of humor.
Sally Face → The cast consists of outsiders who form meaningful bonds despite difficult circumstances, and the series often explores individuality and self-expression. Since you’re someone who values authenticity and doesn’t care much about fitting into societal expectations, many of the themes would probably resonate with you. The mystery elements would also give you plenty to analyze, theorize about, and discuss with other fans.
With the exception of Death Note and the Evillious Chronicles, I am largely unfamiliar with most of the fandoms presented here (I've heard of most of them, just never actually got around to starting them). The explanations definitely make sense, though! I do agree that my personality would shine well with stories that are a bit intense/strange/complicated—not everyone would thrive in stories like that!
