fruits basket. is very emotional, and goes quite deep into the characters' inner worlds and lives. i think it's a good fit for you, with the way you're understanding and intuitive. you understand people and feelings, even when they can't communicate it well, and you're good at empathizing. i think these traits would make you thrive in fruits basket, or just for watching, you would enjoy these characters and this story.
the perks of being an s-class heroine. is one of the few shojo manhwa i know, and i thought i should give you at least one of those! i genuinely enjoy this story, though. the art style is so pretty and soft, and i quite enjoy the dynamic between the main couple; he protects the world while she protects him. i think the overall vibes here fit you well, i found it to be cozy and fun.
hilda. is one of my favorite tv shows, especially the first two seasons. it's about a world full of wonder and whimsy, and all kinds of magical creatures, exploring different areas in every episode. it's also about friendship, and compassion for different creatures. i had to mention it, because i think you should get to see the wonders of its world, and experience the whimsy and coziness it provides.
wind breaker. okay, hear me out. yes, this has to do with me being a shounen junkie and all, but hear me out anyway. this show, in its core, is about community, doing good, acceptance, understanding, empathizing, and being better, wrapped up in the shiny delinquent action package. its core themes fit you well, and you should be able to handle some delinquents, right? especially with the furin boys around. i can see you being one of haruka's emotional support people haha.
as for the stories i would recommend to you...
henyoku no drops. is a very short, four chapter manga. the art is gorgeous and i enjoy its concept. it takes place in a time when humans can all fly, except for one girl.
your lie in april. i watched the anime, so i'll recommend the anime. it's about music, moving forward despite your fears and pain, connections, and love.
as for books, the forgotten beasts of eld. might be something you could enjoy. it's about a girl who lives on a mountain with her magical beasts having to care for a baby, and learning about... humanity, i guess you could say. it's fairly short.

your mother is a hightower, very pious. she clashes with your father's side sometimes, as she's headstrong, and very protective over her children (whom the insane targaryens keep wanting to send off to war?? as if she'd let that happen??).

you became very close friends with rhaenyra as you grew up but... not best friends, and not as close as you would want to be. you didn't know when it happened, as there was no distance that you could feel between the two of you when you were children, but along the line somewhere, as you became teens, a distance appeared. you could feel it, but you couldn't scale it. it confused you, as you weren't the one responsible for it, but you couldn't really ask rhaenyra about it, or close the distance however much you tried. you treated her very sweetly, and tried hard to get in her good graces, but she just... wouldn't close that distance. you would see her whispering to alicent and then immediately changing the subject when you approached them, or giggling with her when you were away. you weren't confrontational, you tended to close yourself off and be upset in silence, so you were just left... wondering what you'd done wrong.

daemon targaryen. you have... a complicated relationship with him. on one hand, you do get along well, as you both are proud of your family, and enjoy martial arts, and he's a very strong leader, which is a trait you used to kind of look up to as a child, and you're on the same side, after all. but also, daemon can be very cruel, and mean, and cold. he's hard to form a normal relationship with, and there are many instances when you disagree with him. he does like you, you are his nephew and the son of the cousin he sometimes fought side by side with, but also, he doesn't like you that much. it's not you, it's him. daemon can't even fully like the people he's closest to.

it wasn't instant, it happened gradually. when you came to the red keep, as a princess of martell, and as a possible marriage prospect for him, he couldn't be less interested. he hated how his father tried to force marriage unto him, he had refused his title as heir, he'd joined the kingsguard. but, being assigned to accompany you as a knight wherever you went made it impossible to stay away from you. he told himself he wouldn't pay attention to anything you did, he would not get to know you in the slightest (mostly from pettiness for his father's decisions), but you were very hard to turn away from.
you talked to him about everything, and you seemed to not take no for an answer. he tried to make it clear that he was not interested without coming off as rude, but you just never yielded. (you just did not catch that he didn't want to interact with you. what are these subtle hints of court politics, and why is this knight even using them?) as time went on, he also became interested, started joining in on the conversations more.

જ⁀➴ ♡ you tell him about your fascination with history and architecture, of course, and after a while of accompanying you as your bodyguard, he suggests a few places you might visit in the crownlands… he’s not taking you to those places himself though, it’s not a date, he just suggested them because… he was making conversation, and he might as well use the history lessons he had to sit through as a child. and he’s only coming with you because he’s your bodyguard. he’s only looking at your face light up at the sight of all these places and telling you the things he knows about them because… well, he doesn’t exactly know why, but he’s having a good time.

jaime leaves his duty in the kingsguard, becoming tywin’s heir (tywin is having a blast), and marrying you. you leave dorne to settle in castlery rock with jaime (and your two cats). being away from cercei and tywin and king’s landing is good for your relationship, and your life in general. your influence on jaime helps him make better decisions, both personally and politically, mostly because you look at things from the perspective of “right or wrong” rather than “beneficial to me or not”. this opens a small rift between you two and tywin later on, he doesn’t like the path you have taken, but he’d still prefer it to a son who does not care at all, does not think, rebels against him, and has no interest in their family’s legacy. he can deal with… a more merciful or righteous son, at least jamie does actually care now.
i know this is a bit vague, but the ending of got... was... ugh. i'm just scratching that whole thing. the ending depends on when in the story's timeline you meet and get married, but i don't care. you become the lady of castlery rock (as he becomes lord paramount), daenerys or jon or some other good person sits on the iron throne, robb is alive (your meddling did its job idc), the starks are reunited and happy. and all that shebang.
anyway, skip this paragraph if you don't want to have children, but let me at least add this since i kind of straight up ignored the show's ending. you have twins, one boy and one girl. one with jaime's golden hair, and one with your brown. both athletic like their father, but while one is quiet and content alone, the other is extremely talkative and loud. jamie teaches both of your kids how to wield a sword (your daughter needs to know how to defend herself, he insists), and makes your son his squire. you read books to them, and sing lullabies, and jamie sits in a corner, sometimes next to you, and just listens, smiling.

tywin lannister: tywin sees you as an opportunity, as a means to an end. he's not overly fond of you, but the fact that you actually managed to get his fool of a son to marry yourself? impressive. more so, great, he made the right choice, he thought you might be the one to do it, and he was right. (even though he had to beg your family for it... after the fiasco with elia and oberyn.) he knows you're not manipulative at all, you're mostly a transparent person who is not ill-intentioned. he sees you for who you are, but from the lens of someone who just wants to use you. he enjoys your singing though. i think he would enjoy your conversations too, if he gave you a chance.
tyrion lannister: oh, poor thing, have you been forced to join this broken family? it will harm you, you know that, right? tyrion pities you a little, but also likes you. he's mostly happy for his brother, he thinks you'll be good for him. you also treat him like you would anyone else, not with disdain, and not with over-sensitivity. so he enjoys your company in most situations, mostly when you're sitting down with others.
joffrey baratheon: he thinks what his mother thinks, for the most part. he's not very careful or thoughtful about you, he doesn't really care, so his mother's observations and words are what make up his mind about you. honestly? i don't know if you can ever change their minds, so just stay away from them. yaoyorozu momo - you knew her from before u.a., when she was a little baby, as your families knew each other, and attended many common gatherings and events. you’re one of the people she took as an example growing up. always lovely and likable, talented and authentic, she used to look up to you. she’s very happy to be your studnet now. you also help her with practicing her piano skills, and you’ve designed her a new hero outfit (the old one was unacceptable) which she wears happily (she was very flattered that you took the time and interest to do that for her).
.✦ ݁˖ best friend: todoroki fuyumi! like momo’s family, your family saw the todorokis several times, although considerably less, since endeavor was busy with his hero duties, and their family was more traditional rather than extravagant. being close in age and temprament, you quickly became friends with fuyumi, and because your personalities fit each other so well, you became best friends growing up. you meet with each other quite often, text almost every day, and exchange tips for teaching. because she is a teacher, too! you got into the same university at the same time, and both pursued education.
todoroki shoto - you’ve also known shoto since he was a baby, but not as much as momo, as he rarely ever attended anything. you try to reach out to him, to help him, but you can’t help someone who doesn’t want to be helped. after the sports festival, however, he opens up, and starts to change. you try to be there for him the best you can, and he can finally notice it, having gotten out of his trapped revenge mindset. he’s the student you see the most often, because of your closeness with his sister.
present mic - you have a very good relationship with him, and he definitely supports your relationship with aizawa. he thinks you’re good for him, and makes jokes roasting him regularly. (”she’s too good for you, shota. you’re lucky she’s blind.” dramatically puts his hand on his heart.) he tells you all about the things that happen at u.a. (it’s definitely not gossip, noooo.)
I ship you with... Tony Stark! I think you deserve someone as smart as you, someone who can share your love of learning. Your observant nature makes you one of the few people who I think could see past the "genius billionaire playboy philanthropist" facade to who Tony genuinely is as a person; compassionate, vulnerable, and, in spite of his flaws, genuinely kind. You're both perfectionists and solution-oriented. You're also both almost certainly Leos.
I always like to have a bit of complimenting opposite traits in my pairings, and so I like the idea of someone extroverted Tony with someone introverted like you (and lets be real here, Tony is kind of a secret introvert, yes he's good at handling crowds but he seems far happier and comfortable in more intimate settings). Also, he's a certified yapper and you said you love listening to others talk about their passions.
Superpower
So, as we all know, in comic book universes, being even remotely tech literate is the equivalent of being an actual super genius. Ergo, your superpower is robotics. As far as the world's concerned, you're another guy in power armor. In reality, said armor is merely a shell you are controlling through neural linked VR from a thousand miles away. Without a squishy meat person inside, you can get a lot more creative. Need a tiny person to get into places only Antman can follow? You've got a suit for that. Need somebody to get into conditions that would cook or crush a normal human alive? You've got a suit for that. And without a human filling up space, you can cram your suits with whatever you want, weapons, supplies, you name it.
Backstory
Reverse engineering Ironman's suit wasn't meant to be a superhero origin story. It was meant to be a fun personal challenge. Nothing serious. Apparently Stark Industry's legal team did not agree, because you got a knock on your door not long afterwards. You were facing charges ranging from copyright infringement to corporate espionage when the man himself intervened. Anybody with the chutzpah to not only replicate, but improve his design didn't deserve jail time- they deserved a job.
Why they Fell For You
You didn't actually meet Tony in person for a good while. I doubt you'd want to uproot your whole life to live with a rotating cast of insane strangers on another continent. So you operated virtually, communicated with the rest of the team through comms. It took some adjustments, but you developed a pretty good banter with the rest of the Avengers- especially Tony. He got used to having you in his ear, to your company, your good advice. I headcanon Tony as some sort of AuDHD, so I think he found it a lot easier to connect with you through voice call, no microexpression involved. He'd already developed a pretty strong attachment when you finally met in person for the first time and- oh. Wow. Your photos didn't do you justice. One look and he was over the moon.
Headcanons
I know you're not a flirt. Luckily, you don't need to be, as I assure you Tony will do plenty of flirting for the both of you. Absolute tease, this man. He'll compliment you until you blush. If you're in the field and he can't see your face, he'll keep going until he gets something, uncontrolled giggling or groans or "ugh, stop it."
Wherever you want to travel, just say the word and he's ready to go. Luxury vacation. A private jet with world class catering and the best hotel ungodly amounts of money can buy. If you want to go camping, its a full glamping experience. And if you want to go star gazing... you know where there's absolutely zero light pollution? Literally space.
Always with the snark between you two. Tony adores your sharp edges, he never wants to see you file them down, not for him or anyone else. You simply wouldn't be you without them. He thinks you care too much about sparing other people's feelings. Who cares what other people think? People are idiots and their opinions do not matter. Someone as amazing as you shouldn't need to perform for anyone.
Likewise he respects your independence. Give the man some credit, he's not that much of a hypocrite. Its not easy for him though. Yes, he knows you need your space to work on you own but he just wants to be around you all the time. Let him into your space sometimes, the two of you can work together. He can be a real cuddlebug when he's in the mood, resting his head on your shoulder and looking over at whatever you're doing.
I can't imagine you would much enjoy the publicity aspect of being an Avenger, and certainly not of being Tony Stark's lover. Although, I'm sure you could handle the press with plenty of grace, Tony makes damn sure you don't have to. Nosy reporters get hit with ragebait answers, any paparazzi snooping near you have their camera equipment suffer unfortunate accidents. Just because Tony has grown numb to having his personal life invaded, doesn't mean you have to suffer the same.
Cast Dynamics
Bruce is probably your best friend out of all the Avengers (geek squad unite!). You're chill enough to not freak him out, and fun to talk to. While you don't fully get nuclear physics, and he doesn't fully get robotics, you can still learn a lot from each other. That being said I think Hulk has a lot of trouble wrapping his head around VR armor. He sort of treats all your different suits like different people.
Steve appreciates you. You're a good team player, unlike some people (*side eye*) and you stay calm in a crisis. He hopes (in vain) you'll be a good influence on Tony. With your prompting he's started drawing again in his spare time, its a nice way for the two of you to relax and hang out. He's not a fan of all the flirting on missions though. The two of you are worse than Bruce and Natasha. Speaking of Nat...
Natasha is always nice to you, but she's standoffish, as she often is. You never really know what she's thinking, whether she approves or not. It was only after the Snap that the two of you became closer, the two of you and Steve the last of the original Avengers still fighting.
Clint honestly is just realized there's at least one person on this team who's sort of mentally well adjusted. I don't think you're that close with him because if he has to give another pep talk he'll loose his mind, so he'll shut you out the moment you show the slightest emotional vulnerability.
Thor is... a lot. He's always a lot. Fascinating to listen to but can be a bit hard to get a word edgewise in over. But he appreciates your interest in the northern countries he considers his adopted home and people. I'm sure he'd love to watch the northern lights with you.
Vision, the only AI you'll ever like. If Tony is basically his dad, does that make you his mom? Don't panic, I don't think he'll ever treat you like a mother figure, especially if you don't want him to. Still, he does look up to you, a steady, collected presence in his chaotic life. Also, how can he not adore you- it was you who rebuilt him after Thanos (Its my matchup and I'll fix canon if I want to so there).
Ever After
In this version of events, it was you who snapped the gauntlet at the end of Endgame. You thought using your virtual suit would keep the illimitable energy of all six stones from completely overwhelming you. In a sense, you were right- but the neural link to your suit was your undoing. The sensation of the stones ripping it apart into dust was transmitted to you and it was utterly unbearable. You were in a coma for almost a year, but when you woke up, Tony was still by your side.
(Yes I know none of this is remotely scientifically or medically plausible, but superhero logic means the laws of reality bends to Rule of Cool every time.)

on the surface, it doesn't sound quite right that jaime lannister — the golden boy himself — is your match. however, you could find yourself surprised by how deeply these waters can run.
initially, there is not much of a spark; jaime lannister is too flashy, too mighty, too cocky for someone such as yourself who seems more withdrawn, more observant, and more cordial. that does not mean that he is spared from the honourable duty of accompanying you in the gardens of the red keep. you seem to enjoy the breeze there — it keeps the air just cool enough, and you find it preferable as opposed to the harsher winds you've experienced whilst travelling in the north.
you're an odd thing for jaime — not swooning, not batting your lashes, hair cut so unusually short. he wonders where his brother had found you — because, of course, tyrion was the one to take note of your wits and invite you in for banter and knowledge. it takes both of you a painfully long while to conjure up a proper, meaningful conversation, but it happens at some point. for all his flashiness, jaime lannister had been brought up to be an extremely knowledgeable man, after all. should you find yourself looking for a book, or pondering over a question, chances are that jaime knows how and where to direct you. it's one of the first cracks to shatter the facade between the two of you. neither of you can even recall the moment at which things seemed to take a turn — it just happened, and now jaime bears a newfound reputation of a genuinely decent partner for conversing.
jaime falls first, slowly. it creeps up on him. he doesn't know what it is at first, but there is something about the way you speak to the others with a certain amount of empathy and kindness. there is something in the proud smile that tugs at your lips after you've done something well, or received praise because your hands have aided someone, somehow. jaime has been so lost in his affairs, so quietly jaded in the cold gold that seeing someone so good stirs something in him. it's the way you stick to your principles, to your ways, to your honour. it reminds him of the starks.
he finds himself gravitating around you more and more — seeking your company, seeking your words, your observations. you make him feel like a better man. or like he could be. the way he lets himself enjoy the feeling is a little bittersweet. his entire life revolved around something else, after all. there is a dose of self-loathing eating away at him at the sole thought that he could let himself have something a little better, a little brighter. he is not used to this kind of love — the love that urges him to grow, to offer his hand in peace and goodwill rather than to shed blood and strike with the blade of his sword.
jaime catches himself feeling protective of you. he calls it a knightly duty or something. there is a particularly masculine desire in him to bring you joy — he'd taken it upon himself to be oh-so-chivalrous and ensure you have your own steed ( all because you've pet his own mighty ride with such bright eyes ). he'd ridden with you, all proper and careful, only to be left completely and utterly baffled — and so smitten — by the way your competitive spirit finally shone bright and demanded a race as opposed to the leisure trot.
maybe... just maybe, he can allow these feelings to grow. it could be the one right thing he'd do in a long while.

you are asgardian. you live in the realm of myth and legend, a place where both magic and technology has advanced tremendously, a place above the earth. asgardians are a brave and powerful warrior race, and you’re different from the rest of your people in that sense, but of course, no one holds it against you, you are the beloved princess of the nine realms, after all! you are the youngest child of odin and frigga, the younger sister of princes thor and loki. you weren’t raised with leadership in mind, so you could do anything you wanted. you chose to take part in theatre plays, sing at celebrations and shows you put on, browse your palace’s huge library and learn of folklore, myths, history; of your world and of other worlds. you tell others of all you learn, children who want to learn and adults who just enjoy your company. you are loved by your people, they excitedly come to the shows you partake in.
you are loved dearly by both odin and frigga, they support you in your endeavors and dote on you. odin sees you as his saving grace, the daughter he didn’t fail, and the daughter that didn’t fail him. the one who is a princess of peaceful times.
your brother, thor, loves you too. he used to be kind of rough with you when you were both kids, and you used to complain about him to loki (he had the same grievences). he was an outgoing and athletic kid, and he could be a little thoughtless sometimes, but as you grew up, he definitely became more mindful. he is careful not to upset you now, you have a very good and close relationship.
you are quite close with loki as well. he was quieter and more sensitive than thor, and also a lot sneakier. while thor was a transparent child, loki used to hide his feelings and thoughts, and cause trouble without being seen. you used to have an easier time understanding thor and his motives than loki, who could even fool full-fledged adults, let alone you. the two of you always loved each other, though. you spent more time with him than thor, who sometimes could be away on duties.
you were blessed with the ability to whisper to plants, to talk to nature. you didn’t control them like your brother controlled lightning, his was… an art form you hadn’t been able to pick apart and grasp yet, how he formed such a bond with… that phenomenon. you could communicate with plants, and ask them to follow you. they always listened, of course, unlike other natural phenomena. you could hear the winds talk or the water sing, but they wouldn’t listen to you, they would bring you news sometimes, though. you found it easier to understand plants than humans sometimes, they were always straightforward and honest, unlike the water, or some animals. even your two pets didn’t listen to you like plants did, they did however they pleased.
steve is an uptight, kind person, he always tries to do what’s right, and act on everyone’s best interests. he would be open and honest with you, as he is with most people in his life, and not give way to many misunderstandings. he’s accepting, and has strong principles and a strong personality. he would appreciate your interest in history and what he has to say, and would enjoy listening to you yap about whatever interested you the most at the moment. you would appreciate his good intentions and upright behaviour, and i think your conversations would be enjoyable and come very naturally. he’s quiet enough that you would get to say everything you want, and he would like it, but talkative enough that he would contribute to your conversations meaningfully. he also appreciates good music and art, he would like your theatre plays and listening to you sing.
the way talking to you gave him joy is the biggest reason why he loved you. despite everything and everyone around him, and all his responsibilities, he still felt lonely oftentimes. he was out of these times, away from the things he knew, his family, and nothing had really gotten better over the years, many things had gotten worse. when you fell from the sky on top of him like an angel, he had no idea you would’ve grown so close. you liked all kinds of nerdy things, he watched whodunits with you, went to theatre plays, planted flowers in pots for his apartment. in a way, you made exploring this new world fun for him (while you explored it yourself). you were awkward and didn't know how to read humans well (or how to act like a normal person from this planet) and it made him feel relaxed while talking to you, he never had to wonder if he'd messed up, or second-guess himself.
જ⁀➴ ♡ he tried to teach you to dance once, like they used to do back in the olden times (ancient, really. although in this world, i suppose you would be a couple centuries old.), but you turned out to be horrible at it, and stepped on his toes at every turn. he laughed a lot about it (while you wanted to bury your head in the ground) and told you it was only fair that you had one flaw.
જ⁀➴ ♡ you start going along with steve to some of his missions because of your more advanced medicine knowledge (you’d learned from the royal physicians of your family) and abilities regarding plants. steve wants to keep you away from the evil people of earth, he doesn’t want you to witness any horrors, but he lets you do what you want, as long as you keep a safe distance most of the time.
જ⁀➴ ♡ the avengers are convinced that you can control plants, no matter how much you tell them that you can’t, that’s not how it works. a lot of their members, including (led by) tony, wanted you to join the avengers. thor was extremely against it, and was ready to bring down the whole tower. steve thought you would make a good superhero, but he also had conflicting feelings about you being in front of cameras and the public eye too much, and the radars of their enemies. in the end, you just decided to help them out if they needed it, but didn’t become an official member.
જ⁀➴ ♡ thor hates your relationship with his coworker, he has a one-sided beef with steve over you. what do you mean the princess of the nine realms is mingling with… this dude? he’s not worthy of you. steve has to prove himself to be a good man and leader through all the hardships the avengers go through together to begrudgingly get his blessing. (he can never get loki’s, though.)
જ⁀➴ ♡ steve understands it when you agonize over not meeting your own high standarts, because he has very high standarts for himself, too. but he always knows how to make you feel better. he orders your favorite meals, and you make holiday plans. you’ve been researching the places on earth, and want to visit italy, greece, turkiye, egypt, all the beautiful historical sites and architecture you can find. steve hopes the two of you really can travel like that one day.

in the end, you would take steve to your homeland, to meet with your parents, and get their blessings. you would have a wedding, you’re a princess, there is no way they will let you just run off with some guy from lame planet number 274983 without proper custom. you would invite every single one of your and steve’s friends from earth, of course. i imagine everyone would find different things to be fascinated by in your world, and the celebrations would last for days. you would stay with steve in the avengers tower afterwards, visiting your family quite often, but your primary home being on earth. you would get to visit all the places you want to go to in time, with steve, and your two alien pets would keep causing trouble in the avengers tower.
i think you would miss being there for your father’s death, because you’d be with the avengers, and not in asgard. you wouldn’t be able to deduct loki’s real intentions (and he wouldn’t reveal them to anyone), and he would still do what he did before ragnarok. your people would call for you when hela got to asgard though, you being the only royal they could reach, and you would go to save your people. you couldn’t defeat hela, but i imagine meeting her younger sister for the first time would be an interesting experience for her. i’m not entirely sure what she would think, but i think you could earn many people enough time to survive, and aid your brothers in their fight when they come back.
you would not let loki die in the hands of thanos, thinking quick on your feet in that moment of crisis, although he would obtain the tesseract regardless. both you and loki would end up going with thor on his quest, and in the end, stop thanos from snapping his fingers. thor might not have gone for the head the first time around, but he had his siblings to hold thanos back to earn him enough time to do so when he took his second swing. (sorry, i just love a fix-it.)

sam and bucky both like you, and sometimes come to you if they have any complaints about steve (because he's sure to listen to you). they think you're good for him. tony thinks you're a great asset and a good person, he often jokes about how he's so offended you didn't join the avengers.
