The pit in the bottom of my stomach got greater as feelings of being stuck began to flood my brain. I was utterly loyal, it was just for the first time in my life I was loyal to two people. I walked back to Riley’s hospital bed and grabbed her hand, squeezing it gently.

I heard the door creak open yet again, and then quietly and quickly shut. I smiled as I could smell his familiar cologne, and no matter what Frost may say-he never skimped on his scent and I think It could have been because of me, but I was uncertain. I’m glad he’s stood by my side. While he was away, the doctor came in and told me what they found due to the Exploratory surgery. Needless to say, I was not looking forward to telling Frost the truth. I twirled my medical id bracelet nervously. @frosty-rp

I smiled, but in the back of my mind, everything was going 100 miles a second. I couldn't help but feel guilty, like if my condition was anything I could control, and I was trying to do the best I could, but even my best failed me. After what seemed like a lifetime of silence, I had an idea. “Frost, if they say what I have is what I think, “Could I get a service dog?” I knew his answer would be yes, but I wanted to still clear it with him. My phone rang and I groaned upon seeing the number.

I was cut off by the sound of her phone and quickly shut up to find out who it was. While I was hoping it was just the doctor, I was anxious to find out. It was nearly impossible for me to keep the bad thoughts away, but I managed to maintain my resting face while I waited patiently. The taste of cafeteria jello was still fresh on my tongue.
