these are the men we’ve chosen to love
We did not choose this! Who would chose this kind of pain?!
SOMEBODY'S GETTING MURDERED FOR MAKING ME FEEL THESE FEELS.
"Morning Star" by Paul Fryer
All I Ask is a Tall 'Ship and a Star to Sail it By
I WILL MOST DEFINATELY FUCKING LOOSE MY SHIT
IF DESTIEL BECOMES CANON BEFORE STEREK
But why? To me, I don’t care if either becomes canon, much less which should come first. Sometimes I love these ships because they aren’t canon, and I feel like we’d all lose a little of our proprietary ownership of them if the world learned of the sheer magnitude of their awesome.
But I’d be thrilled, like ecstatic, if either did. And think about it—the SS Destiel’s crew has been pulling its ship through thefucking Sahara for four seasons and fought countless mutinies and other ship’s attacks. They’ve grown wiry and firm in their resolve. I’d love for them to finally find the sea. Or, like, a really big lake. Like Eerie, maybe. And after drifting rudderless for a while, they’ll find the locks and stumble up river into the bloody Atlantic.
As for the HMS Sterek, it has barely cast off its moorings, the crew is roughshod and still somewhat untested (but viciously loyal and dedicated), and just so… young. Don’t misunderstand, this isn’t a bad thing, being young, but slow, slow! Wisely and slow!
They stumble that run fast.
I have a serious problem. I just peeked into the destiel tag, because like, I've missed you, baby, you know?
...and the S9 spoilers...
*dies*
How is this even my life?
Okay, so. Does anyone remember that fic about Cas being Dean’s guardian angel from the very beginning? Like, there was this explanation that when a person is born, their soul splits and the pieces go to the people who are meant to be a part of their lives and that’s literally all I remember?? This isn’t making sense, is it??
OMG It's called The Soul Piece by CloudyJenn and I'm heartbroken because all my links to it are DEAD.
Hot Boys, Hot Boys
whatcha gonna do? whatcha gonna do when I open my mouth and say something unintelligible then drool over everything?
From the Mouths of Babes
You know, I think the creative people behind Supernatural have handled Destiel remarkably better than those behind Teen Wolf are handling Sterek. It could come down to the fact that Destiel didn't occur until season four of Supernatural, giving time for the show to really get its character development in and to get the cast and crew seasoned (and at that point they'd already gotten well used to the idea of Wincest existing). Everything about Teen Wolf screams 'green.'
It's kind of hard for me to go into the Sterek and not be pained by what I read, both from the fans and from the creators.
Ah, My poor Angel, twist and shout. I cry at the bloody thought of it.
I still haven't read it. My sister did and all I can say is NEVER EVER EVER EVER.
I would like to believe (head cannon, if you will) that Mr. Ackles' has never had this problem.
Dean: "There are two things that I know for certain, one: Bert and Ernie are gay. Two: you are not gonna die a virgin. Not on my watch."
I Really Have to Thank Destiel
for reminding me I have a soul by repeatedly stabbing me in it.
Goodbye, and thanks for all the feels.
Appropriate, that I wind up doing Supernatural meta eventually on how much of the show itself is destiny, how much is random, and how much is free will : )
Because I don’t mean to be disrespectful, but I think the problem isn’t “our show’s not that good,” I think the problem is that you...
This.
I am destroyed.
I AM NOT FURIOUSLY GOOGLING DESTIEL WHILST CRYING AND LISTENING TO SUPERTRAMP'S "GOODBYE, STRANGER."
YOU DON'T KNOW ME!
