He wanted to deny Garth's words. But with the top of his body collapsed over the table, arms dramatical spread over its light, wooden surface? Yeah, he maybe was right that he had too much. Still he tried to open his mouth in order to complain. To tell his boyfriend how wrong he was. But nothing but a hiccup escaped his throat.

Sehun stilled.

"Maybe... had... dooo much.", Sehun raised his hand, made an 'o' with a thumb and index finger, "That... too much. A little bid.". The fingers touched.

"I... oaky...". And then he nodded off.

The young man barked a laughter, slapping his hand against his own thigh. What a thing to find out. This was wonderful. Truly wonderful. It would be a shame to not let this slide into oblivion. “I will never let you live this down. You know that, right?”

Laughter filled the room. Would he forget it? Sehun knew it would be an empty promise made, were he to say yes. It all depended on how many more cocktails he drank. Still, he waved his hand dismissively, as if brushing aside every possibility that things might turn out otherwise. As if it were an absolute given that he would forget.

“Of course, of course.” A grin spread across his lips. “It practically slipped my mind by now!” He tapped against the right side of his head as he said this, his grin widened - if that was even possible. Then he laughed once more.

“Anything else you need to confess while we’re at it?”

“Mmm…”, she tapped her index finger against her right cheek, deep in thought. “I suppose. Guests seem to get into fights so much more whenever they are drunk. Is that not a bad idea by itself?”. Those certainly did seem to enjoy being the headache they are. At least towards her poor employees.

The only question was whether they had really only had a “shot of glass” or more. Miran herself took a sip of the juice in her glass. As someone who still had to work AND take care of her little sister, she was careful to avoid the consumption of alcohol. At least for now. Especially with the look the bar keeper gave her. Sitting in the bar of her own hotel had its perks — but also its disadvantages.

“Oh... oh don't tell me that you got a bad idea right now, Sera.”

She has no pastries that seem to blend perfectly with lavender tea. She's furious. How can that happen in her luxuary hotel out of all places?!

If there was one thing he hated, it was sitting around unnecessarily in the hotel’s restaurant.

Idly, the young man brushed one of his long, golden locks out of his face and blinked the tiredness out of his eyes. He did understand that he would one day inherit this place and therefore, had to meet guests that had high promises to become regulars. However, Sehun somehow held little interest in truly doing so. Was it Miran, his little sister, after all who was much better at winning over other people.

Sehun’s gaze shifted to one of the many floor-to-ceiling windows. The white curtains were still closed, but the first drop of orange light filtered through them and to him, that meant that he was awake far too early. One look was enough to see that even the kitchen wasn’t ready yet to entertain guests, not even one. The waiters still ran around like beheaded chickens and Sehun had to wonder if they were always that confused or just too tired as well. It caused a slight smile to appear on his lips.

Upon hearing an unfamiliar voice, Sehun rose his gaze and his amber colored eye starred directly into the eyes of the person opposite him.

"If a certain Mr. Lee sent you, then yes. I am the person you are supposed to meet.", he spoke, little emotions seeping through. Either to do it correctly for once, as his father asked him to - or because he wanted to avoid tiredness inking his voice, "You are Ms. Kojima then, I suppose?".

He inclined his head to the left, narrowing his eyes as he smiled, "Forgive me, but I wasn't given the information if you already stayed here for the night or if you just came. Actually... my father has told me very little about anything.".

A warm, nightly breeze brushed against her face, paler than usual. With a slow movement, she reached her trembling hand toward his and took a deep, shuddering breath before clasping his hand into hers tightly. Her gaze shifted from Roy to the expanse of green meadow surrounding them. It was dark, not even animals or the slimes around were stirring and she felt so… watched. As if someone might suddenly leap from the bushes, only to drag her back to Inazuma. To the nation, that never has been a home to her.

It was a thought she knew would never become reality, or not as easily at least. She was in Mondstadt after all. Yet, the panic had sunken deep within her bones nevertheless.

“Get me away from here...” she begged in a whisper, softly, almost inaudibly and tears threatened to spill, “Please.”

Miran looked at her husband and blinked slowly, tilting her head in silent question. Of course she had come alone. The mere sight of her being alone should be answer enough. But she was careful not to say it aloud. Instead, she placed her hands together and gave him a gentle smile.

“Should I really… answer that question?”, she asked in the same soft voice she always used, “Why wouldn’t I be? This place really isn’t that far from the hotel.” She blinked again, then a silent 'ah' crossed her lips, as if realizing what he might could mean.

“If its about the twins, they are being taken care of, please do not worry! They are so adventerous lately and I thought we wanted to spend the evening together alone. It has been a while after all.”

"Please try to get some rest nevertheless.", Miran spoke, concern lacing her voice and grew only stronger with every word. A hand, covered by a white glove made of silk, reached out to her. But Miran halted midway, hesistated and then her arm fell back to her side.

"Will you... allow me to touch your forehead, so I know if you run a fever?"
