[The taste of coffee in his lips. It brought both pleasant and unpleasant memories, and he preferred to keep the latter locked away in the back of his mind. He would usually bring coffee without Shuu asking for it or even wanting. Although it wasn't the same, nor they held the same taste, the physician couldn't really forget about someone who made such heavy changes on his character--
... It didn't matter now, a small shrug as he took another sip. Perhaps one of the rare moments he could finally relax(even if the infirmary was always empty, blamed on his bad fame... that he didn't care much about), but maybe his moment of peace would not come right at that instant.
The sound of the door opening.]
- "Are you feeling ill?"
[An automated response, before even looking at whoever was there. Letting the cup rest on his always tidy table, the man finally moved his head to analyze who exactly was there.
...
... A child?
That was unusual.]

—Pardon?
/His eyes scatter a bit in bemusement, lids opening and closing on different places on his otherwise featureless face. The words sting him, a little, but he’s not sure why. After all, the other beings he shared his world with, while varied, were just as bizarre as himself. If not more so. But something about the way the doctor looked at him — studiously, like he was some kind of rare specimen — made him suddenly feel… apart.
Megusuri does his best to shake the feeling off, twisting a lock of hair from his bangs between his fingers, hand in front of his face.;
A-ahh, I’m n-not… not quite sure, myself… I… I suppose I have a detail or two in c-common with an argus, b-but I-I’ve never heard of an argus s-selling eyedrops. Don’t gods get them to g-guard things… o-or something? I only guard one thing, and nobody m-made me…
[Shuu observed the way his body reacted to his question, and he was sure he hit a nerve with that. How marvelous. For a second he pondered studying this being, cutting him open to see what sort of bizarreness he would find. After all, it was one of the few things he actually enjoyed doing, and it seemed that new... test subjects and specimens were always available.
Marvelous, he said to himself again as purple hues kept analyzing Megusuri.]
- "...Selling eyedrops?"
[How ironic, considering his appearance. The question was just to keep this man's attention to himself, as Shuu proceeded to treat him without any care or emotion.]
- "Do you have a name?"
[Things he would not do normally, but since his attention was caught... might as well play along, for the time being.]

Guu wasn’t really sure where she was going when she started wandering, nor did she give much thought to caring. As much as she enjoyed bothering Hare, she decided to give him a well deserved (she had tortured him with a special vigor in the past few days, in honor of St. Valentines day) break, and went off on her own.
Whether it was one hour, two hours, maybe, she ended up wandering into what seemed like a school of some sort, and after a few minutes of padding through the hallways with her somewhat gelatinous feet, was drawn to a particular door. The only door that seemed to have the very aura of darkness. Guu tilted her round head to look at the plaque on said door.
Dr. Iwamine Shuu
Interesting.
The little girl-resembling creature known as Guu, who’s manners were rudely shoved aside for her morbid curiosity, reached out a semi-elastic arm and shoved the door open, not quite slamming it, but with enough force to make her appearance noticeable. She took a few steps into the room, eyes pinpointing to a tall, ponytailed man at a desk, staying completely silent in favor of the man’s reaction.
[It was probably a bad idea to come out like this, interrupting the eerie silence of the infirmary. Silence that he much liked, not really particularly fond of people barging in and being loud and chattery - he was a being that enjoyed solitude and being left alone to his thoughts - people would more than often interrupt whatever he was thinking about with incessant, pointless question that he would have to respond in any way out of sheer politeness.
He was not expecting a girl - another unique being that he absolutely held no interest on(his only interests being in science and research, the man couldn't possibly be attached to anything else).
Shuu did not give her more than a single glance, eyes going back to the papers he was reading before being rudely interrupted. Usually, if you do this, you are killed. It was nothing more than an annoyance...
... Namely, Guu was completely ignored for the time being.]
- "Refrain from making such things at the infirmary."
[... By no means a "friendly advice". One could interpret this as a warning that he would not tolerate this once more.]

O-oh, a doctor! I w-would have liked v-very much to be a doctor, b-but I had the mind f-for chemistry… a-and eyes, of course.
/He stops himself before he rambles too much, eyes focusing themselves away as he’s sure he’s done something to annoy him.;
W-well, hello, a-at any rate.
[What a most intriguing abomination. Careful eyes analyzing the creature that suddenly presented itself to him - something that wasn't really human. A moment of silence where Shuu just let the boy talk, noticing the weird stuttering and the abnormal figure - not that he was really impressed or scary, seeing as how his face barely showed any sign of emotion.
Without any regard for how this... thing would feel upon being asked such a harsh question, he continued anyway.]
- "What are you?"
if i cosplay as your dead boyfriend can i fuck you
- "My dea--??"
- "Oh. I see where you are trying to get at.
You couldn't possibly be more wrong."
i'm going to steal into your room at night and whisper naughty things into your ear
- "I doubt you will survive for much if you do so. Due to constantly pulling all-nighters you can say it strains my patience and my ability to tolerate idiots by 90%.
I'm afraid you're classified as both 'someone who constantly tests my patience' and an 'idiot', so to say.
If you want me to be delicate about it, you are rather uninteresting."
shhh no words just come into my warm and inappropriately intimate embrace
- "I might have to refuse. I don't see any benefits on... getting involved with you."
i am going to fuck you until you scream
- "Excuse me miss---- I don't remember agreeing to this."
not affiliated with citta anymore etcetc please unfollow if you wish!
so if i offer you the body of someone else in place of mine will you go on a date with me, shuu - coo?
- "Please address me as doctor Iwamine. And as much as the idea of having another test subject for me to work on sounds tempting, I will have to refuse. They are the best when you personally pick the ones you want to study.
However, if you really want to go on a date with me, I can think about it...
... It won't come for free."
Can I keep you?
- "It will cost you your head."
impregnate me
- "...I'd rather not."
♔ anybirdie there?
The sun was beginning to slowly dip below the city skyline, bathing the streets in shadows as the streetlights began to flicker on one after another. This was all pretty normal in itself… although the young girl tracing her way through the unfamiliar territory couldn’t help but be on edge. Hiyoko Tousaka hadn’t been sure what to make of it, when she’d woken up staring at a crisp white ceiling. The first thing to pass through her bleary mind was wondering how she’d managed to fall asleep in the infirmary, slowly realizing as consciousness returned that; a) she hadn’t visited the infirmary that day and b) her last memories were of falling asleep in her own cozy home. Sitting up quickly, the student had only swung her legs over the side of the table when a screen flickered to life…
Hello! You’re probably wondering what’s going on, so allow me to fill you in!
Pausing under a streetlight, Hiyoko took a moment to pursue her surroundings—this place looked like any other city, but the majority of the things that had been said on that video in the white room had her hunter gatherer instincts on red alert. She couldn’t see anybirdie she knew amidst the slowly thinning crowds… aaah, it was getting late, wasn’t it? People should be returning home around now.
Hands on hips, the girl wondered if it would be possible to find a nice cave in this place. It had taken her so long to make her home sweet home what it was, and even if it wasn’t exactly perfect… it was her home. She sincerely hoped no one would disrupt it while she was gone—as much as she loved her abode, it wasn’t exactly high security. What would she do if she couldn’t find a temporary replacement here, though? And what about the weird letters and numbers she’d been given? Folding her arms, the brunette took a moment to consider her options…
Stuck in a strange place with nobirdie she knew, supposedly now part of some kind of social experiment and with no way to get home. Really, Hiyoko counted herself as a rather adaptable person, but this was a bit out of her depth. Eyes glanced up as the light above her flickered, emitting a low buzz as she began to walk again. A hotel would be an option most people would consider when stranded for the night in a strange city, but all she had was the change and lint lining her uniform pockets. As situations went, it was far from ideal.
Not that her home situation was much better, but when had she ever considered that a problem?
As much as those trusted hunter instincts of hers were telling her to stay on guard… it couldn’t hurt to ask for help, right? They did say you could make friends in the most unlikely of places, and this was about as unlikely as they came! Not to mention that she was all too happy to meet new friends—
Previous stress quickly melting from her youthful face, Hiyoko smiled and tried to catch the attention of a close passerby.
“Excuse me! Could you tell me where the nearest cave is?”
[The voice, all too familiar for him. To make his expressions turn from a mischievous smile to a legit impressed look... this was saying something. That voice, and the uniform... he couldn't really mistake her for anybody else.
Blinking a few times, as his mind tried to connect the dots. He was pretty sure that her head was still secure, hidden within the infirmary. As for her body, he already got disposed of it, after examining it so much. Her body was even starting to rot when he decided that it wouldn't be a good idea to keep her around any longer, but...
... here she was.
Alive.
Breathing.
And more important than that, head still attached to her neck. How did Hiyoko managed to do that was beyond his knowledge... but not for long. Back then, the girl was always the one who approached him, seeking her own death so carelessly, like she was attracted to it for some unknown reasons... well, it didn't matter.
First things first.
If she really did came back, would killing her again do the job? Or would the girl resurrect, even if the bare thought was something his scientific mind could not accept?]
- "... I should probably ask what are you doing here."
["...Because you are supposed to be dead", he completed mentally. He was urging to try out this new theory, if she would finally die or not... but depending on her answer, Iwamine would have to reconsider his strategy.
'What if she never died' was still bugging him, a horrid theory that was buried in the depths of his mind.
This was ridiculous.
Human beings are not supposed to magically come back to life.
Someone like her could not defy science, even if the city defied science itself.]
