They're sharing everything, from clothes to food and drink tickets. They've even got the same username for their Turf War Pass thing. Also, the Tower Records promo art shows them in the same apartment. So. Yeah. Moving 8 with 3 makes no sense considering those things are literally canon.

I despise the idea of Inklings and Octos being inferior to humans in fanfiction. They're the same guys who fight to the death starting at the age of 14 making them trained fighters and tacticians from a young age. They're the same guys who are pretty much immortal so long as they have respawners or life saver floaties. They're the same guys who can make fully automated UFOs out of air-cons. They're the same guys who created a giant punching turbo-mech equiped with forcefields, anti-gravity, bombs, and lasers out of nothing but whatever scrap they could find. They're the same guys who can make entire armies by simply cutting their hair. They're the same guys who created weapons capable of piercing walls and buildings with nothing but ink. They're the same guys who, despite being canonically 5'2" tall on average based on Pearl and Marina's reference sheet, can swing stuff like the comparatively huge Ultra Stamp like it weighs nothing. They'd totally kick humanity's ass up until we glass the whole of Inkopolis. You literally cannot convince me otherwise.
Kay, so, gonna be honest here;
Pokemon Sword and Shield don't exactly look *bad* per say... But the fact that they're on a console capable of running Doom 2016, BoTW, Warframe, Super Mario Odyssey, The Witcher 3, and Overwatch (2 coming soon) while also being priced 50% more than previous titles makes the lackluster (and supposedly recycled) animations, decent but admittedly mediocre graphics, terrible online system, "Weaponized Inflation Fetish™" being in place of Mega Evos and Z Moves, and Dexit being literally inexcusable (considering modders have already hacked in some missing 'mons), super disappointing. Like, literally 0 hate, I can't even be mad. I'm just disappointed, really. I wanna play em, but... My heart's not in it. I dunno... I'm super conflicted...

I get that 90% of us reading fanfics are depressed af, but can we please cool it with the angst? Can we get more stories of Danny being, y'know, Danny? Too many fics rely on the half dead kid's family dying. Or worse, abusing him. I'm just like. Wtf? His family loves him? It's completely out of character for them to want to hunt him down and dissect him when they have been shown to love him unconditionally. I might not like Phantom Planet (let's face it, it was a terrible episode) but it's one redeeming feature was outright PROVING that Danny's family is willing to accept him. It just... It makes zero sense and I'm honestly tired of it.
