how much money and time is wasted sitting at the hair salon getting your hair did? i for one am a champion scissorist! i have successfully perfected the "carol brady" for my husband and the "farrah bangs" for myself! so brandish a new set of shears, (preferably the thinning kind, they are way more forgiving and cut at a not so blunt pace) watch a hair cutting youtube video and take action! it's a learning and easy to do experience!

Let's get intimate...

going commando isn't for the boys, we can do it too! and save a ton of money while we're at it! a couple of years ago, i had a drawer full of pretty panties that seemed to just keep piling up, so i built up the courage and just went without and have never been happier...sure i keep a few comfy ones for skirt wearing occasions and the monthly stuffs, but i no longer have to dig through my collection or waste money on those butt picking things!

purse hunter...scoring big for under $5...

i loved seek and find games as a kid, where's waldo, easter and my dad's favorite: "hey go find the changer (aka the tv remote control)." now i use those super skills i learned as a child, hunting for purses, but the catch is over 5 bucks, you've spent too much...i'm fortunate to live in austin, a hip place with a plethora of amazing and amazingly cheap thrift stores (if you have the patience). and all of these purses together cost under $5, that's right about a buck each.

not only are they cheap, but they are one-of-kind (well three of them are) and i'm doing good, recycling on the cheap...and the even cooler thing i can turn around and sell them if i get tired of them! win, win, win...okay enough charlie sheen...and tiger's blood free...
