apparently cis people have x-rays built into their eyes that let them see what genitals people have, so they can avoid being attracted to trans people

10 YA-friendly books by and about transgender people
For this month’s YA Pride, I set out to find books written by transgender writers about transgender characters. I knew that it would be difficult to find trans books by trans writers published specifically for the YA market, so I broadened my search to include books published for the general adult market. I found a number that were about young trans people and which might be of interest to young trans readers. Some are from small presses; some are anthologies; some are nonfiction. Many are probably difficult to find in bookstores, so I recommend checking your library system.
To find out more about these books, go to YA-friendly books by and about transgender people (source: malindalo.com).

That’s amazing!
Gender: a visual guide.
When most people think of the gender spectrum, they think in terms of blue and pink, and maybe some purpley stuff. That model isn’t much of a spectrum and is rather a scale of femininity vs masculinity, when in reality gender is only sometimes on those terms, and is a huge, multi-dimensional concept that simply can’t fit on a single line. At this point, I would like to propose the term "gender sphere” rather than “gender spectrum” to emphasise its absolute complexity.
this is good yes rlly tired of a sliding scale between two end points being used as a rejection of a binary

1. Is it safe? You might be bursting to tell your secret to the world, but the absolute most important thing to ask yourself first is, “Is this safe for me to do?” Much of the answer to this question is built on your support system, which I mention in more detail shortly. The realities of some...

Binding in a pool, the ocean, or natural bodies of freshwater.
If you bind, you may be concerned about the effect of different types of water on your binder or may be considering purchasing a swimming binder or another form of swim top just for swimming. Chlorine and saltwater may damage…
1) you should never bind when doing any type of exercise.
2) you should never bind when in water.
3) there are always alternatives. Bind safely.
1) there’s a post on my blog that explains not to exercise while binding, but this isn’t for trans guys who plan to swim for a living.
2) there’s no problem with wearing a binder in water. I’ve done it before.
This is my attempt at recreating a picture, somewhat. On the left, pre-t and on the right, 7 1/2 months on t. Crazy.
Welp. Never buying Jelly Belly Again.

How do I go about making it such that every jellybean this man ever consumes again is vomit flavored?
no but it really pisses me off when people call their sexuality “queer” because they date “men, women, and trans people” or “women and transmen” or whatever
way to fuckin tell me that you see me as some really butch chick or some weirdo half-n-half thing it’s not like i already struggle with my self image or anything
fuck you
Same with people who call themselves pansexual because they’d date trans people.
"Standards has a problem with that Michael Jackson bit. Apparently you can’t say he’s got a vagina." (Pete, Season 1, Episode 1) (This isn’t really about trans people, but it’s close enough so I’ll include it…)
"So I said, ‘Rick, this chick’s got a Adam’s apple.’ And...
