‘ i’m not here for you, ‘ georgia scoffed. ‘and ii don’t know. i’ve seen you perform before, isn’t it basically the same thing? ‘ she grinned, teasing him again. ‘ not sure the getting mobbed thing sounds fun, but i guess it must have been worth it. ‘ personally, she preferred a bit of personal space, but hey. it was coachella, all kinds of crazy things happened. ‘ don’t flatter yourself, you’re not that popular, ‘ she added with a roll of her eyes. he probably was, actually, but his ego didn’t need any help from her. ‘ i’d be concerned about it, but i doubt you’re the only one, ‘ georgia said with a roll of her eyes. she knew what it could be like, when people offered you free drinks - among other things - constantly. the temptation was hard to resist. as they walked, georgia found herself strangely comfortable with him, the presence of his arm around her not bothering her at all. she tried to brush that thought aside, though - it really didn’t have anything to do with anything. ‘ vodka lemon, ‘ she ordered quickly - he was right, they couldn’t afford to be wasting time. ‘ it definitely seems like i have some catching up to do to get myself on your level, but i don’t want to miss a minute of lana, either. ‘
his hand rested over his heart in what seemed like the most melodramatic way he could think of. “so not only are you saying i mean nothing to you, you’re also insulting my performance? wow, low blow g.” he said, but didn’t actually take her very seriously. he could tell by the grin on her lips that she had been joking. he could take a joke usually - in his current state she could slap him and he wouldn’t care. as they walked, nicolas kept the smile on his lips and his arm around her shoulders, there was nothing that she could say that would bring him down, he was on a coachella high. that was probably because of the alcohol he had, or maybe the smoke cloud above their heads that would get anyone high if they just breathed it in. everyone was high in coachella, it was a thing. her order was quick and he smiled, not having to actually pay for it was cool and made things faster for them. “my drink is still cold, so i’ll just keep myself from a refill right now. good choice though.” her drink was ready in a second as then there was only one place to go. “how was fashion week? did anything interesting happen?” he questioned as they headed to the show.
