“I mean, it’s possible you’re the predictable one considering you said you ‘had to go’,” he said, tilting his head slightly. “Whoa, your place it is,” he replied, chuckling softly to himself. “Not exactly sure it’s the right time to be ticketed for public indecency.”

“The difference is, I actually do have places to be. I’m an important man, Sully.” Paris turned the corner, making his way down the block toward the off campus apartments. “Wouldn’t want you going back to the clink, now, would we?” he smirked, chuckling to himself as he made his way up the path to his apartment, pulling his keys from his pocket to unlock the front door.

Sully rolled his eyes at the other, following behind him despite what he’d said. “Right, of course,” he said, putting his hands up in surrender. He followed behind him the entirety of their journey, keeping silent for the most part as he avoided the gazes of people he passed. “Where are we going?”

Paris pulled his phone from his pocket, checking his notifications half-heartedly before tucking it away. “You’re predictable, Anderson,” he called out, smirking as Sully followed behind him. “Where do you think we’re going?” Paris rolled his eyes, sparing a quick glance over his shoulder. “Or did you want me to fuck you in public? It’s been a while, but I guess I could be down.”

“Did I beg?” he asked, brows raising at the other. As the other seemed to contemplate his following decision, he nodded his head, standing up from the seat. “That’s what I thought. Lead the way, then,” he said, gesturing toward the door and following after him. “What was the appointment, anyway? Shoe shining?”

“You didn’t let me leave,” he countered, tilting his head, getting bored again. His eyes narrowed at Sully’s presumptuousness. “On second thought, I should probably get going.” Paris turned on his heel, knowing that Sully would follow anyway, tucking his hands into his jean pockets after he walked out of the bar. “That is none of your business,” he replied, not turning to look at the boy behind him.

“Paradoxical smaradoxical,” he mumbled, not sure where he was going with that but entirely too high to care. “Asshole,” he mumbled under his breath, glancing up to the other as he stood. “Yeah, whatever. I’ll take care of myself,” he assured him. Sully tilted his head, wetting his lips as he considered what to say. “Where are you going?” he asked. “Can I come?”

“I doubt it, but whatever.” Paris took a few steps, stopping when Sully spoke. He closed his eyes for a moment, a satisfied smirk pulling at the corner of his lips. Right on cue. Paris cracked his neck, turning slowly and letting out a heavy sigh, letting annoyance grace his expression. “I thought you didn’t beg?” he asked, repeating Sully’s words back to him. “I have an appointment.” Paris checked his watch, presenting as if he was contemplating. “I guess I can reschedule.”

“Coke sobers you up, man. It’s a fact,” he said, rolling his eyes at the other. Tilting his head, his teeth continued to grind together despite his efforts to still his jaw, clearing his throat. “Whoa, demanding. I’ll get snarky if I want, you’re not the boss of me now and you’re not so big,” he said, quoting the Malcolm in the Middle theme song. Shaky breath escaping as he brushed his hair from his face, he shook his head. “Shut up.” 

“I’m aware of that, thanks. It was just a very paradoxical statement.” Paris watched as his jaw moved, shaking his head with a soft tsk-ing noise. He rolled his eyes as Sully spoke, getting more annoyed by the minute, though he kept his composure. His expression shifted to a satisfied smirk at the change in Sully’s breathing, a soft huff of laughter escaping. “Touchy,” he drawled, wetting his lips. Paris let out a huff of breath, shaking his head and standing. “Get some fucking magnesium if you’re gonna keep doing that shit.”

“ something along those lines, ” lena chuckled as her eyes raked the other. his charm didn’t fool her, but it did certainly draw her to him. their connection seemed like it was almost magnetic. a light smirk adorned her lips as she rolled her eyes. of course he smoked. going to pull another cigarette out, she discovered her pack was empty when he asked her just how bold she could be. the brunette stood up and walked slowly up to him, her hand creeping into his jacket pocket as she locked eyes with him, smirking as she pulled the cigarettes out of his jacket. “ depends, ” the girl murmured, playing innocent as she took the lighter from his hand and put one of his cigarettes between her lips and lighting it before putting it and his pack back into his pocket. “ but some people would say i’m pretty bold. “ the girl gave him a light wink as she took a drag.

Paris followed her movements carefully, watched as she made her way closer. He wet his lips, something dark passing behind his eyes as she reached into his pocket. He stayed still, let her light her cigarette, casually ashing his off to the side without looking. Paris took a long drag of his cigarette, letting the smoke slowly out of the side of his mouth. His nostrils flared only for a moment, otherwise composed. “You should be careful taking things that don’t belong to you,” he started, watching as she inhaled. “Naughty habit to have.”

“Yeah well… Figured it’d look suspicious if I rushed off to the bathroom. I realize now that the drugs have sobered me up a bit that that was a fucking stupid idea,” he stated simply. Brows drew together as he referred to him by his full name, nose wrinkling slightly. “Fuck off,” he said. Eyes scanning the other’s face, his jaw set as the toe of his boot brushed against his leg. Teeth grinding slightly, he shook his head. “What? Do you want me to ask you back to my place? Or beg you to go back to yours? Never been the type.”

Paris let out a snort of laughter, looking at Sully incredulously. “Never thought I would ever hear the phrase ‘now that the drugs have sobered me up’, but leave it to you to say something that fucking stupid.” Amusement passed over his face at Sully’s obvious annoyance. “That’s not very polite.” Paris leaned forward, resting his chin in his hand. “Don’t get snarky,” he replied quickly, reaching forward to brush a lock of hair from Sully’s face. “Or have you forgetting that I’ve heard you beg? If I remember correctly, it was to let you cum.” His eyes flicked over Sully, withdrawing his hand and letting out a deep breath. “I forgot how much of a brat you are.”

lena studied the other and a light smirk danced across her lips. he seemed like the type of person that she used to spend all of her time with; rich assholes who paid her to laugh at their jokes and be their dates, and, if they paid enough, to stay with them for the night. “ because i was three seconds away from killing my project partners and i needed a break. not that they expect me back anyways, ” the brunette chuckled and took her last drag before killing the cigarette with a light shrug. “ there’s no need for the lecture, daddy, i already know that,” she teased, eyes raking over the other. “ plenty of things are dangerous in life; you just gotta be ballsy enough to do them anyways. ”

One hand slipped out of his coat, glancing down at the watch adorning his wrist; he had plenty of time. Paris took another step closer, looking amused. “Three seconds away from murder, huh?” A playful smile pulled at his lips, his charm automatic at this point. His brows raised minutely at the term, slowly pulling his lower lip between his teeth. Yeah, he definitely had time for this. “Wasn’t a lecture, darlin’,” he started, fishing his own pack out from his pocket, placing a cigarette to his lips before flipping open his zippo, bringing the flame up and inhaling. “Tell me then, how ballsy are you?”

“Maybe I’m just trying to be cautious. Not really feeling the urge to go back any time soon,” he said, glancing underneath the table to where Paris’ legs had outstretched toward him. “I’m not paranoid. I just feel like you have something to say.”

“Maybe you should avoid doing coke in the middle of a bar if that’s the case.” Paris watched him critically, his face impassive. “Relax, Russell.” Paris drew the words out, rolling slowly off his tongue. He tipped the rest of his whiskey back, setting the glass to the side when he finished. “Maybe I missed you,” he shrugged, running the toe of his boot along Sully’s leg. “Or maybe I saw you walk in and wanted to fuck with you.” A smirk tugged at his lips, looking up as he pretended to think. “Either way I’m bored now,” he sighed, quickly retreating his legs and pushing himself back.

“It’s not about stupidity, man. I was always smart about what I did.” That was entirely untrue, especially when considering the night he had been caught. Higher than he’d ever been before, carrying enough heroin to kill an elephant in his half opened back hatch of his vehicle. “Touché,” he replied, clearing his throat as he thanked the waitress for returning with his shots of whiskey he’d ordered. “Sure. But smells like bullshit.”

“Okay, Pinocchio.” Paris rolled his eyes, knowing full well that was very far from the truth. A soft sigh left his lips, taking his glass as he pushed himself to stand, moving to Sully’s table and sitting across from him. “Prison made you paranoid,” he remarked, stretching his legs out under the table. “More so than usual.”

lena was on her third cigarette in under five minutes, trying to calm herself down. her partners for her media class had not only both been late to their meeting, but neither of them had finished their parts of the work. that was when the brunette went off on them for about fifteen minutes before promptly leaving the library. a figure approached her and the girl smirked up at them. “ ah, my knight in shining armor. you’ve already made my might at least three times better, ” she chuckled.

The brisk night air bit at Paris’s face as he strolled casually across the campus, hands tucked neatly inside the pockets of his coat. He was on his way to an appointment, but didn’t feel the need to rush. It was better to make them wait. Gave him the upper hand. A voice cut through the air as he passed the library, turning his gaze to find the source, slowing in his gait. “I get that reaction a lot,” he replied, walking closer to the girl. “Why are you all alone in the cold?” he asked curiously, eyes flicking to the cigarette in her hand. “Those things’ll kill you.”

“Right,” he said, word lingering in his mouth as his lips made a ‘popping’ noise for no particular reason. “Well, you know what prison’s like. Memory is a little fuzzy, so I wasn’t sure if I was remembering correctly that you did, in fact, suck my dick.” He smirked to himself, crossing his arms in front of him as if declaring himself the winner of the exchange. “What do you want, Paris?”

"Actually, I don’t,” he countered, offering a condescending smile. “Never been stupid enough to get caught doing anything, you see.” Paris rolled his eyes, swirling the amber liquid in his glass. “I can suck dick without getting on my knees.” Paris shrugged at his question, watching Sully curiously. “Can’t I just want to welcome back an old friend?”

Rolling his eyes, he picked a candy out of the bag he’d been slowly working through in front of him, popping the cherry flavoured gummy into his mouth. “Degenerate, you say,” he replied. “And what are you? Daddy’s boy? Sorry I don’t have anyone I felt I needed to please or get on my knees for. You don’t know me.”

“Did I stutter?” Paris raised the whiskey to his lips, taking a slow sip. He laughed humorlessly at Sully’s remarks, tilting his head almost curiously. “You should know by now that I don’t get on my knees for anyone, Sully.”

Tell on me?” Sully asked the person that had looked in his general direction just as he’d hoovered up the white powdery contents of a line on the wooden tabletop at the campus pub. “If you’re going to get all Racing Against Drugs on me, you can go. But I also don’t mind sharing. More fun that way.”

Paris was sat by himself, a glass of whiskey sitting in front of him, sipping it slowly. He didn’t like to get drunk. He enjoyed the slow burn, watching everyone else lose themselves. Like the boy in front of him. He chuckled low when Sully spoke, tracing the pad of his middle finger around the lip of his glass. “Actually, I was wondering how they let a degenerate like you back in this place.”
