Rarely did Juliet ever find anyone new at these parties, so this was a pleasant surprise. Generally, it was typical for fraternities and sometimes other sororities to show up, as well as a few other people who were simply looking for a good party. They did happen to throw the best parties in town, so it wasn’t a shock that everyone would show up. She would know almost everyone because she grew up with just about all of them, or had known them in passing somehow. This was out of the ordinary though, but she was not complaining. “So, you’re from out of town then?” At least, that was what she gathered from his ‘from a place far, far away’. Although it was obvious he was joking, the only logical explanation for her not knowing him would be if he was from out of town. “Well, it’s a pleasure to meet you, Romeo.” She responded with a grin still tugged at her lips before pursing them together gently. “Did you come here with anyone?” She inquired, to be sure none of her sisters in the sorority had their eyes on him originally. Not like that would matter to her, though.
Being at a party made him feel refreshed since he hadn’t been to one ever since his dad had decided to run for mayor. His parents thought it was best for him to not do whatever he did that defined his reputation. That being, he obeyed and kept himself on the down low with parties. It did suck on his half since his life only consisted of staying at home to drink and nothing he had been doing lately was fun. Now, he was at a party and a good one since he had met the girl in front of him. It was like the perfect timing. “Pleasure’s all mine, Juliet.” His lips formed into a half smirk while he looked down at hers and watching her grin form. “I actually grew up here, I would’ve thought you were new in town?” He questioned as his smirk grew. If she didn’t know him, he would’ve guessed that she at least knew his family. Who, in this town, didn’t know his family? Exactly, everyone knew. “Came with a few friends, who’d you come with?”
