ANYONE IN ACADEMIA READ THIS THREAD

One time I asked my complex analysis professor if I could take my final exam in a different room because during the previous semester finals exam season, I found out that I was being intensely stalked and the man was following me to all of my classes and even sitting in them. I found this out a week before my exams, I didn’t sleep or eat and was terrified and distracted during my finals and got C’s in 2/3 of my classes

When I asked my complex analysis professor privately if I could arrange to take the final exam in another room (as I was instructed to do so by the counselors and legal team at the school) he yelled at me for asking for special treatment and ridiculed me for being “scared” over “nothing” but “fine I GUESS if you REALLY think you NEED this SPECIAL TREATMENT and you ABSOLUTELY CANNOT take the exam otherwise then FINE I will let you use my office but it’ll be a HUGE INCONVENIENCE FOR ME all because YOU FEEL you need this extra special coddling so are you SURE you want to ask for this? You REALLY want me to ask other people to watch you take an exam in ANOTHER room because you can’t handle sitting with the rest of the class?”

He’s very old and very famous in the math department at my alma mater and I hope he drops dead.

my diffyq prof gave me an incomplete and didn't change it to a B until past the deadline so it auto-failed, made my GPA drop below a 3.0 for a couple days, which disqualified me from my tutoring job. I missed 7 weeks of free money cause of that
