TAYLOR SWIFT in London (12 August 2026)
“Tayyylorrrrrr better announce debut today!!!!”
Doubt it. She’s in London. Her plane landed in Joe alwyns hometown and her caravan of cars were spotted as well driving around lol.
I’d like a debut announcement today but idk I have a feeling another type of announcement may be coming soonish
She can post when she's in London!
She doesn't even have to do it herself if she doesn't want, she's got a team that does it for her ! You know she has had the wording of that post written up for a while! She would just need someone to paste it and post w pics of the photoshoot she's already done too. No need to be in US or wherever (:
Tayyylorrrrrr better announce debut today!!!!
At least not today Not today, not today
I'm going away to somewhere with no service unless I go to town and I s2g if Taylor announced debut 20th anni edition while I'm gone imma be annoyed !!!!!
“From the 20-year Contemporary Songwriter-Artist category, we have a Pennsylvania native who began writing songs and playing guitar as a preteen. Relocating with her family to Hendersonville, Tennessee in 2004, she soon signed with Sony/ATV Tree publishing, making her, at age 14, the youngest writer in that company's history. Shortly thereafter, she signed with Big Machine Records, which in 2006, released her self-titled debut album that included the song Teardrops On My Guitar, which was a 2008 BMI Country Song of the Year. Her follow-up project, Fearless, became the most-awarded country album of all time, and featured the singles White Horse, which was the 2010 Grammy winner for Best Country Song, Love Story, BMI's Country Song of the Year in 2009 and their Pop Song of the Year in 2010, and You Belong With me, BMI's 2010 Country Song of the Year. More hits followed this writer's path to superstar, including Mean, the 2012 Grammy winner for Best Country Song, Blank Space, All Too Well (the 10-minute version from the short film), which was the 2023 Grammy winner for Best Music Video, Anti-Hero, and Cruel Summer. In 2017, her solo-written Better Man, by Little Big Town, was Grammy-nominated and earned the CMA Song of the Year. Writing or cowriting every song across her 12 studio projects, she is the only artist in Grammy award-history to win Album of the Year four times. Other honors include a win for BMI Country Songwriter of the Year, six wins for BMI Pop Songwriter of the Year, seven wins for NSAI Songwriter-Artist of the Year —whew, I love these and she was also NSAI's Songwriter-Artist of the Decade in 2010 and 2019. In 2026, this writer became the youngest female inductee into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in New York, and soon she will become our youngest inductee ever. We are proud to welcome, say it with me now, Taylor Swift to the class of 2026.”
— Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame President Mark Ford announcing Taylor’s selection on August 11, 2026 (x)
Taylor Swift was one of five writers named for induction into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame class of 2026. She is its youngest indu
Taylor Swift will be adding another trophy to her shelf, as the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame announced Tuesday that the superstar will be inducted into the hall this fall, becoming, at 36, the youngest writer ever to receive the honor.
Swift sent a message to be read by Mark Ford, executive director of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, as he announced this year’s inductees in a livestream.
“From the time I started writing songs as a child, I fixated on Nashville as the perfect place to be,” said Swift in her statement. “I wanted to learn with and from the best and get to immerse myself in a community of storytellers, and thankfully Nashville turned out to be exactly what I’d dreamed of. A town that validated and prioritized hard work, determination and imagination. Where the writers show up to work every day even when the mysterious muses and the magic don’t. To be honored by this city I love so much is a beautiful thing, and I’m very grateful.”
The accolade follows on the heels of Swift having been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in New York in June, at which point she became the youngest female writer ever to join that hall.
Swift was inducted into the Nashville hall in a category that honors songwriters that have been at it for 20 years or longer, in what, not coincidentally, is the 20th anniversary year for her debut album, “Taylor Swift.”
Also named to the hall as part of Tuesday’s announcement: Lyle Lovett, Shawn Camp, Lee Thomas Miller and Bruce Channel.
“I’m so happy that Taylor Swift finally got a break,” quipped Miller, stepping to the podium at the announcement event to thank the hall. “She needed a win.”

"That cliché feeling was literally my entire personality for like a year. When I would be, like, walking down the street in New York, I'd be like, 'I'm going to get my groceries in New York, cause I'm just a girl in a big city' like I was just fully inspired by the whole thing, like I don't think you should ever have to apologize for your excitement. Just because it's like... I don't know, just because it's something cliché doesn't mean that it's not something that's awesome".
