Love how Haruhi doesn’t care for the mind games and political schemes at ouran in the slightest.

Our girl was literally just there to further her education. She was doing her best to live and let live at any chance she got. Until she joined the host club and got involved with the most influential families in the nation without even realising.

And even after she finds out about their backround and influence, she just doesn’t care. She even wants to be left alone on several occasions. Cause to her, the boys are just a bunch of ridiculous guys that pull her into exhausting shenanigans every chance they get.

Which is why they are all so fascinated by her. Sh sees them as people. Individuals.

Polyamory could save tamakyoharu, but:

Haruhi doesn’t realise that Kyoya is bi/likes her as well

Kyoya wouldn’t risk suggesting it knowing what’s at stake

Tamaki genuinely doesn’t know that’s an option, is in denial of having feelings for two people at once and lives in constant (irrational) fear that his feelings mean that he is gonna cheat on Haruhi, ruin his family once again and hurt everyone he holds dear

The most realistic part of OHSHC is them deciding who in the group is the mom and who is the dad. Tamaki is the dad. Kyoya is the mom. High school friend groups absolutely do this. This is fact.
