Happy Fullmetal Alchemist Day! Here's what I had planned for that picture of Hughes. I had this idea for a while, but executing it was the hard part. After some rough thumbnail sketches, I came up with this beauty. What do you think?

Something I don't see brought up that much (says the girlie who entered the fma fandom two decades later so yes this was most likely already talked about don't mind me aksjdhakjs /lh) is how in FMAB's 'terrible day for rain' scene, we get this dramatic side view of Roy as he grieves, with his cap casting a shadow over his eyes and obstructing his expression.

BUT AS IT TURNS OUT. There is indeed a front view of this exact scene (originating from a JP magazine back in the day and later republished in a tv guide) where we could actually see Roy's face in full.
