Happy Fullmetal Alchemist Day! Here's what I had planned for that picture of Hughes. I had this idea for a while, but executing it was the hard part. After some rough thumbnail sketches, I came up with this beauty. What do you think?

I just love how this turned out! I was originally inspired by a random doodle I did in my sketchbook with red ballpoint pen. The color inspired me to turn her into a strawberry themed character. Everything else just kind of came together after that!
I wanted to redraw that red demon type girl I did in ballpoint pen, so I did. As I was drawing, I decided to turn her into a strawberry demon! Here’s how it’s going so far.
I’ve been experimenting with sketching in ballpoint pen. It’s a lot harder than it looks, but I think I’m getting the hang of it. I really like the one in red pen. Maybe I’ll do something with this character?
For part of the time I was gone, I was working hard on a new project. One of my husband’s hobbies is designing games. He’s getting ready to kickstart a game with a cartoony ninja theme, and had me do the artwork for it. Which ninja is your favorite?

Character expression sketches for a possible new OC
Been sketching. The hands are a little big but I’ll fix that.
I thought it’d be funny to draw Power from Chainsaw Man as a nurse. Y’know, since she’s the Blood Fiend? Anyway, here’s the final version. If you swipe through, you can see all the progress shots on how I drew her.
I had a lot of fun drawing this girl. The whole thing just kind of came together. The only issue I had with this piece was what to put in the background.
