I can’t imagine someone getting sweaty hands or feeling butterflies in their stomach when they look at me like I can’t imagine myself being the object of someone’s late night love fantasy
I’m a little different now because of you.

I feel like my stitched heart is unraveling and I’m breaking all over again.
I thought I was healing. (via poetryleftbyher)
I know that you’ll be fine. I’m happy for that, believe me. But what about me? What happens 5 months from now when you’re still fine, and I’m not. I’m not happy because you’re gone and probably moved on. What happens then?

If they miss you, they’ll call. If they want you, they’ll say it. If they care, they’ll show it. If not, they aren’t worth your time.

But what's killing me is they don't. They won't. They never will.

I deserve an Oscar for the pain I’m hiding behind these smiles. For how well I’ve convinced the world that I’m fine. Nothing’s wrong with me. Like my heart hasn’t been torn from my chest. While it beats in your cold hand, I smile into their eyes.
I used to worship those hands.
While we were together I’d say you were like a drug. Your eyes, your hands, your smell, had their hold on me giving me the greatest high making me want more. But now Im going through withdrawals and even though I know it’s what’s best, I crave the effect you had on me. Now, the only high I get is from the very drug you introduced me to but even that is not enough.
Just to get away from you.
I’d sit on my moon and watch your earth go round. Laughing at your insignificance there even though here, you’re the only thing that matters.
