WHAT labor? I see my landlord once a month, when I have to fork over rent. My landlord is not a member of our community. My landlord is not involved in the maintenance of the property beyond commanding someone else to repair broken appliances or cut the grass, and usually my landlord doesn’t even do that–one of the office assistants sends out those orders. 

All my landlord does is sit in the office and send minions after impoverished tenants who live in fear of the streets and are about one to two paychecks away from being homeless.

Landlords. Are not. Workers.

Landlords should not exist in the first place.

Housing should not be controlled by people able and willing to cast vulnerable people out into the streets.

Jennifer is alive & asking for help. We need eyes on her case as things progress. This shit doesn't accidentally continue for 2+ yrs. Cops claim they can do nothing, which is directly a lie.

She has video recordings & pictures evidence on her instagram, she has even won a court case against her neighbor (due to Jennifer getting tickets from the dog shit the neighbor threw into her yard) yet the neighbor remains & continues to harass. This same neighbor pulled similar tactics to push the previous owner, another woman of color, out as well.

I lived at a place once with toxic neighbors. They too left dogshit at my door a few times. Idk what beef they had with me personally since we both were white & hardly exchanged any words. But i know it's not ok to not feel welcome at your own home. Jennifer not only feels unwelcomed, she doesn't even feel SAFE at her property that she OWNS.
