this isnt bad at all!! you definitely know what youre doing, and you have a cute style to go with it. Its somewhat hard to critique sketches instead of finished pieces, but your anatomy matches your style well. if i was you, i would try and go to more serious shading, or just show it in your outlines. if the light was coming from the front of the character, draw outlines on the back of the character thicker. i would invest in some outlining pens like Micron-brand pens if you havent already, or even a gel rollerball pen (i actually prefer the gel pens, theyre sometimes cheaper and easier to find). Once you do, start outlining! do everything in a thin line first, and then go over darker areas with thicker lines. altogether, youre doing pretty well! develop outlines next, and once youre skilled in outlining, move on to coloring in monochrome, and then color. ♡

Isn't exactly a redraw, but it's still art improvement. Left was drawn when I was 12-14, right was drawn today (I'm 16 currently) I'm kinda submitting this to blogs like this BC I'm proud of myself
