Alt Time of the Doctor boots

Found a good alt version of Clara's topshop boots from Time of the Doctor. I got a size 4, true to size and comfy despite three inch heel. Not real leather but impressed with quality for price.

Found a pretty close match to Clara's dress in the 50th anniversary for $29.00 from Dorothy Perkins. It doesn't have the buttons and the flower print is a bit bigger than on Jenna's, but it's inexpensive, so why not?

This is my Clara Oswin Oswald Barmaid dress from the Snowmen. I studied every aspect of the dress I could to make it as accurate as possible. It took me two months to make. I wrote up a full analysis and walkthrough of how I made the dress here.

This is my first attempt at a NotD cosplay for Clara. It isn't great (or even close to it) but I am still pretty happy with how the photos turned out. The dress is an alt from Urban Outfitters that I got on sale for $30, much to my delight.

Has anyone tried dying the Yumi bow cardigan? I've noticed that there are still stocks of this in online stores in other colours (blue, green, etc) - but never black. Was considering buying one and dying it to match Clara's but wonder if anyone else has tried this first and has any tips or advice?

SEPTEMBER UPDATE!

Hey there everyone! This is Phamista, I have a lot more free time on my hands now so I'm going to try to keep up with the demand on our Etsy store! I came across an AMAZING alt for Clara's shoes in outfit #1 (with the red plaid skirt) in The Time of the Doctor! They're identical in every way except for a small logo on the back and the absence of the metal strip on the bottom of the heel (which can easily be added with paint or a strip of metal). Not to mention that they're about a third of the price of the originals, on sale, BOGO 50% off, and have a ton of sizes. Happy Cosplaying!
