It took me so long to get to the con from Kings Cross that I got there just as they shut the place to get the wristbands, so I missed everything on Friday.

Gideon Emery returned to MCM London Comic Con this weekend for the first time in a few years. Despite trying to pace himself for the intensity of the event, he warned those of us in the press room that his voice was already worn out, probably from the two-
On Friday, I met one of the most influential men in my life. (Also managed to nab an exclusive copy of Survivor Type and get that signed :P)
Being told to ‘never give up on [my] dreams’ by the Gideon Emery was absolutely amazing and I cannot wait to interview this amazing man next month 💕
I missed his signing this time, but I saw his head! He is a nice sweet man and he loves all his fans.
I can’t go because I’m in London the weekend after and can’t afford two trips but if any of you are around - go tell him how awesome he is.
I’ll be going, met him last time he was there.
I would like to thank the writers of last Friday’s Grimm for writing a character that called for Gideon Emery to walk around in his boxer briefs.
For anyone interested. Emery doesn’t discuss Fenris until 48:43 (and it goes on until the hour mark, roughly). The rest of the interview is actually pretty fascinating, as well. He talks about how he ended up acting and doing VO work, progressing into mo-cap (like in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare AND one of the Battlefield games), Balthier, his TV work, the theater stuff he’s done as well as a teensy bit about his singing.
funnily, one of the things you learn: Emery was actually Gaider’s first pick for Fenris. which kind of flusters him…
