The only present I need for Christmas

This was my cat Loki. I'm a foster kid and just last June, I got away from my abusive family after living with them for the first 16 years of my life. If it wasn't for this 3 year old cat I found on the side of the road, I would not be alive. It's hard to believe that an animal could keep a person from committing suicide. The days when I couldn't get out of bed this cat would scratch my chin and bite my nose until I got up. He would cuddle up under the covers every night when I would start crying and rub his face against mine to wipe away my tears. When I was removed from my home, I couldn't take Loki with me. He is still living with my biological mother. I have honestly thought of attempting to steal him back. I'm in a good place now, I just wish I could hold my cat again. ❤️💔
