Hey i’m still not over the fact that the role Gene Roddenberry gave to his wife on his show was a literal sparkly, colorful, effervescent, kind, and glorious princess of Betazed.

Find a partner who adores you as much as that.

I am aware that they are both imperfect people and their marriage wasn’t perfect either, i’m not trying to romanticize their entire life together.

I just find this one detail sweet.

oh no, i cant remember what happens in the episode Half a Life but i know it is going to break my heart bc David Ogden Stiers does such a beautiful, tender, emotionally stirring performance as Timicin and i dont remember how this ends but I know he and Lwaxana definitely break my heart and im gonna cry a TON before this over. (Goddamn this is such a good performance.)

I love how adorable Odo and Lwaxana are together. Her playing hide and seek with him as he shape shifts around. His sheer comfort to do that before her. Her being comfortable crying in front of him, telling him about her pregnancy, and about Kestra. The sheer bond they have is so precious to me. I love how deeply they adore each other and the respect they have.
