i had to stop watching farscape, far too much women loving man for me.

the only thing that kept me watching was pilot and aeryn's character development, and eventually that just wasn't enough. i have no desire to watch women fight over a mediocre man.

any recs of what i should watch instead?

was going to watch scavenger's reign after finishing moonhaven, but couldn't find it anywhere *completely legally ofc* so i'm going to have to settle for watching it at a friends alas

but i found all of farscape on internet archive so it's their turn now!!! i'm five eps in and i'm a big fan - even if some of the acting is a bit... wooden

Acting becomes so much better through season 1, when show finds it is own footing.

Hey there!

As some of you know, I've been struggling to keep up with my health (teeth, blood pressure and now, unfortunately, shingles...) and also my rent and bills, which have been late for almost a month now.

I want to be honest with all of you, I don't know how long I can keep up like this. If it wasn't enough, I just discovered my son has scars on his lungs left from when he got pneumonia last year, and I truly don't know how that is treated or even if something should be done about it (the doctors told me to come back for a better evaluation next month and kept me in the dark with my questions).

Now, at the moment, art is the only job I have, and I need to sell at least 10 commissions in the next couple of days just to keep up. Each full illustration commission is $80 and I ask for $40 upfront and $40 on delivery. If you want to commission me, please do, it'll mean the world to me. Or if you want to help me directly, I will be forever thankful. I will be posting daily updates on how many comms I sold in the next couple of days so you guys know how I'm going.
