Currently on view at Gallery Nucleus in Alhambra, California is artist Junko Mizuno’s solo exhibition “Takarabune.”
Mizuno continues her exploration of pop and spiritual aspects of Japanese culture with an emphasis on the Japanese Seven Lucky Gods in “Takarabune.” Traditionally represented by six males and one female, Mizuno has depicted each as female in her exceptionally distinct style.
“Takarabune” will be on display until January 8th, 2017.
