Hello I'm new to roleplaying on here but a very active roleplayer I did it for years on MySpace. Can you recommend any good sites to roleplay on? Or how I can get started on here? I just want to interact again like I used to.
i (and the other mods) rp on a site called dreamwidth. idk if you knew about livejournal or what livejournal roleplay was like, but dreamwidth is basically the same thing. you make different accounts for different characters, upload icons of them. usually with dw we consider characters either “in game” or “homeless”
games are what they sound like, basically. mods create a community that has their own setting and rules and people apply to join those games with their characters. there are A LOT of different ones. homeless is just when they don’t have games. there’s also communities dedicated to memes (not like… tumblr memes?). basically this. warning that some of the images on that might be nsfw or some posts might have some triggering content!! i have personally been doing lj/dw rp since like 2006, and the other mods have as well so!!
