Hello my amazing Tosh fans. I hope everyone enjoyed the season premiere. Also, and excuse me for freaking out, NEW SPECIAL HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED TITLED “PEOPLE PLEASER” AIRING APRIL 17TH I AM SO EXCITED. I sincerely apologize for the lack of content on this blog, I have been extremely busy with school. I’m a junior in college marketing major looking to get into live event marketing for a stand up comedy venue (shocker) so classes and looking for internships consumes a lot of my time. I do promise I will try my hardest though to create some content in my down time, after all I do love editing pictures of Daniel’s face.Thanks for reading this. I’m sorry to say but Andy Ritchie, the friend and comedian Daniel made the famous bet to raise money for to help with his brain tumor treatment, passed away. My thoughts and prayers are with Daniel and everyone who knew Andy... his family, friends, fans. So sad, but I’m sure he gave the world many laughs. RIP.

Daniel Tosh:

When I was thirteen I remember watching “Comedy Central Presents” and they had this comedian come on who I had never heard of before.  Usually when I watched the show, none of the comedians they ever had on would make me laugh out loud so to speak.  This guy though, this Daniel Tosh, comes on and was one of the funniest acts I had ever seen.  He was just this weird goofball that didn’t care he was being a weird goofball.  Now I was thirteen at the time, and many people find Daniel Tosh’s comedy to be rather vulgar, offensive, and quite honestly in poor taste.  So maybe, he is only funny to thirteen year-olds.  I went back and re-watched all of his stand-ups specials recently and I can safely say it isn’t true.  He is indeed a complete asshole, but he also doesn’t care and will say what he wants. Daniel Tosh is a sarcastic comedian who comes up with weird scenarios that incorporate topical issues such as race, obesity, gender relations, etc.  Quite honestly, a lot of people hate this because he’s mean.  It’s the type of mean that is also funny.  It’s the type of humor that you don’t want to laugh at, but he makes you with delivery and good points.  That takes talent, and he is fine with people getting mad at him for it.  The thing is, and he’ll remind you about this, he makes more money than us for telling people all these rather dark truths (or darkish opinions), so really he probably isn’t losing any sleep over people’s mean comments about him on the internet.  

Tosh.0 isn’t that great though.

Comedian Spotlight: Daniel Tosh

Daniel Tosh is a stand-up comedian, television host of Tosh.0, actor in the Love Guru (playing the role of “Cowboy Hat”) and previous star of Taco Bell commercials. 

He is known for his at times over the line humor and quick biting wit mixed with jokes about sitting on the toilet in reverse. With two Comedy Central specials, Completely Serious and Happy Thoughts, his stand-up comedy is regarded just as highly as his many seasons of Tosh.0. Tosh is taping a new special in July with air date tba. 

Some send him death threats, others are enamored with his adorable smile (me). And let’s not forget his love and devotion to his two Havanese pups, Castro and Eva. Tosh is a comedian who stole my heart a long time ago, and I can’t wait to see what he’ll do in the future. The man only gets better with age. Like a fine wine. A very fine wine.
