Oaky and bold. Vanilla on the nose and high in tannins, this is a big wine. Enjoy by itself (if you're into that) or rich meats if you want to complement the wine well. Raw almonds work well also

This really pops, on the bouquet you get scents of oak, vanilla, and spices. As if that wasn't good enough, it really delivers on the palate, dark fruits, lasting finish, big and bold, a little peppery, and high in tannins. Fantastic wine at a reasonable price.
A pretty plain Pinot Noir at a pretty plain price. The bouquet fell flat, it did the same on the palette. But I mean it was pretty cheap, it's clearly a Pinot Noir, and it's not like you can't drink it. Well sorta, I didn't wanna finish it, but if you're drinking it with really strong flavored food, like say, paella, then this is a cost effective solution for the wine pairing.
Picking Chandon because you're craving bubbly, is like picking Microsoft for an enterprise solution. No one is gonna get fired, no one is gonna call you out, and the experience will probably be okay. On the nose the overtones were sweet, the bubbles weren't as vigorous as I thought, the color was darker than normal which was nice. And on the palette it was more interesting than I expected but overall it was okay and reasonable for the price.
Cheap, easy to drink, citrusy, clearly a Chardonnay. A wine for when you don't feel like trying too hard, had it with some Brie. Made for a pleasant experience.
This is a proper wine. I took a whiff of the bouquet and I was transported back to the winery. As if I had gotten it straight from the source. I could smell the cellar, and not in a dank unopened kinda way, in a I'm on the tour kinda way. Oaky and spices juxtapose the backdrop. On the palate, dry, high in tannins, peppery on the way on and mellows out and has a hint of of sweetness to balance it out.
Mellow fruits on the nose, honeydew. Mellow on the palate, buttery lasting finish, almost honey like. Interesting pleasant, but not to intense, laid back it's a good wine. Don't pay 50 bucks, drive your but down to Ralph's it's like 15 bucks.
It pops on the nose, strong aromas of spices and oak. On the palate it's peppery, low in tannins surprisingly, and just overall delicious. Wonderful wine to celebrate a history for a very nice winery. Excellent.
I don't even know how to review this properly, but if I had to describe it, whiskey wine. And it's descent, just not what I was expecting though.
The bouquet was really aromatic, notes of strawberry, complex oak, and hints of spice. The aromas blend so nicely I almost didn't wanna drink it. But of course I had to, and it was stellar. It starts off soft, it's low in tannins (but they're present which I really enjoy), dry, then the taste begins washing in and becomes a bit bigger and the finish becomes lasting. The whole experience was very sensual. This wine is one fine wine, will definitely buy again.
The bouquet was everything I ever dream of when I open a wine. It was oaky, it had hints of fruits, hints of vanilla, some spices on the nose. A wonderful crimson color around the edges and a deep ruby in the middle. On the palate, dry, really high in tannins, full mouth feel, and a big finish. Synergy. And then the price? That's really what ties it all together and pushes it over the top.
Good year. A dessert riesling, citrus red apple on the nose, hint of vanilla. On the palate it's sweet but not overbearing. I did my usual deal with the devil and paired it with chocolate. Descent dessert wine.
Earthy, oaky bouquet. Dry, big and bold, high in tannins, lasting finish. A solid Cabernet, delicious.
It starts off neither here nor there, it's clearly Chardonnay, it's fine, a light bouquet a little citrusy apple on the nose, on the palate it's pretty complex actually and the more I drink it the more I like it, it starts washing in and has a sort of pop finish. Solid wine at a very reasonable price.
No complaints. A solid sparkling wine. Lively bubbles, a flowery bouquet, kinda buttery, extremely well priced, a nice color. They nailed it, well done.
Decant it, serve it at a little under temperature and it ought to be fine. A bit fussy but I found that sweet spot. An intense dark color, expected of a young wine, but it caught me by surprise. The bouquet had slight overtones of vanilla and dark cherry but mostly earthy. High in tannins, a short intense finish, it's not something you wanna drink on it's own, pair it with some almonds or manchego cheese. Overall it was okay.
Reasonably priced. I had to let it sit a little to really open up. The bouquet was warm, which was interesting because it played contrast to the darker fruits, when it makes you expect peppery notes. On the palate it's light, low tannins, very nice finish, a merlot for the summer.
